"You do realize that these are more than likely the ones which ambushed the Royal Guard Captain, correct?"
(That whole "MM's voice sounds like whoever is hearing them" thing should hopefully mess with a few of them. For a walking mindscrew it's kind of amusing how easily everyone takes them in stride.)

Thief B: "I think he's impersonating me..."

Thief B: "I feel like she... I mean he has a masculine built though."

Thief C: "Wolves don't have money. He stole the weirdo's money."
Thief B: "Nothing left to see here then. You can move along weirdo."
Maya: "(Aren't we gonna do anything for Elliot?)"
Thief D: "No idea what's going on with the royal guards. We separated from the group to explore kay?"
The thieves put their daggers away. Elliot is still in pain on the ground. The fishmen are still looking at the scene out of curiosity.

Mirror Mage helps Elliot up as Crystalis gives him a potion. They leave the thieves and fishmen to continue following the path, noticing a flying castle moving west.
Elliot: "Woah! What's that?"
The party is stopped by two shirtless tanned man installing a tent.
Elliot: "Great more bandits..."
Bandit A: "Woah there! There's actually people in the Wind Land?"
Bandit B: "Where are you guys coming from? Where are you going?"

(So, your actions affect the world around you. If you like these "Social Updates" I'll keep doing them, but if you prefer to not be aware of when you did something significant I can give up on the idea. Whatever you guys prefer.)
Mirror Mage and Crystalis were ambushed by 4 thieves while some curious fishmen were watching. Crystalis gave all his money to the thieves, leading to a peaceful resolution. The unhurt thieves stayed behind instead of returning to their guild, which means the bandits have no idea who Mirror Mage and Elliot are.
A group of fishmen in the windy plains is now aware that conflicts can be resolved with offerings. They also learned to communicate by drawing symbols.

Look around the camp for anywhere that the guard captain could be hidden, keeping Mirror Mage's head facing them so that they think they're still staring at them.
