(Quick update on this game:
While I like it, making a single update is extremely time consuming and actually pretty annoying.
I was thinking about this game, asking myself if I drop it or continue it and I decided that I will continue where we left off.
There will be a major overhaul of HOW the game is played though. I'll try to keep a level-up system, but I want to have something original for the combats, something we don't already have on Vitcon.
I'll try to work on that as soon as possible, but it might take a while before I have an idea.)

New mechanics1.Making sure everyone understands them before beginning. 2.If you look at Character Status V2, you'll see that some of your moves changed or that you got new one. 3.HP is no longer a number, but a level. The higher your HP level, the more hits you can take. 4.Turns are now in real time. Your FPs decide how many moves you can make and each of your moves cost a certain number of FPs. Refer to Character Status V2 for your moves.
Example: Bruno has 5 FP. Punch costs 1 FP. Sidestep costs 1 FP. Piercing Lance costs 3 FP.
Therefore in one turn, Bruno could punch an enemy, sidestep to avoid an attack, then retaliate with a piercing lance. Note that enemies will also react in real time.
Any questions on the new battle system or it seems understandable?

Oh...
I don't know, I didn't play Bravely Default...
Also forgot something important: Using Do Nothing lets you have 5 more FPs on the next turn.

It seems like I'll be spending a lot on items, but it should be okay. It's too bad our defensive abilities cost FP and our normal abilities, but it should only prove to increase challenge and difficulty for the better. Anyway, I was referring to how FP is now more like BP. We can spend as much as we want to use multiple attacks in one turn, but once we're out we can't move.

Yeah, this is basically defaulting except that it doesn't double as a defend command. Can we take an advance (say, using 10 FP worth of actions) at the cost of being unable to perform actions until we're back to the normal amount?

Can we take an advance (say, using 10 FP worth of actions) at the cost of being unable to perform actions until we're back to 0? Unfortunately, I'll say no. You can't use more FP than you have. Like I said earlier though, you can Do Nothing for one turn which gives you 5 FP on the next turn, so it kinda ends up being the same thing.

"So don't go near its den if it's eating people. Did you honestly need me to tell you that?" Kameron stares at Goombella condescendingly.

Goombella: "Who talked about going to Hooktail's castle?
I hope you guys don't want to go there...
That would just be stupid!"

"I'm not saying go there ya dolt, I'm saying tell to tell whatever group of idiots are going there to stop if they're so upset about their friends getting eaten. It's not rocket science: stay away from the castle, don't get eaten." Kameron walks off, muttering under his breath. "Kids these days..."
