Carrie and Coilette head up to the top floor and find two mysterious trainers about to leave the lighthouse. One has a funky hairdo and the other is wearing a black hoodie that covers his face in shade. Those must be the creeps that use Shadow Pokemon! Coilette and Carrie prepare to battle them, throwing out their Pokemon!
Carrie sent out Fennekin!
Coilette sent out Bulbasaur!
Danny sent out Hoothoot!
Charles sent out Honedge!
The air is tense...

"Assuming that these are the ones using Shadow Pokemon, try to cut off any and all escape routes after the battle. If we can take these two in for questioning we may be able to find out more about these Shadow Pokemon."

Fennekin howls and starts to run around the area quickly. It doesn't even notice Hoothoot's eyes flashing. Honedge performs a strange dance, floating around. Bulbasaur charges right at Hoothoot, crashing into it with all its strength! Hoothoot is hurt by the attack, but gets back up, jumping from one foot to the other.
The trainers are carefully planning their strategies...

Bulbie will attack Honedge with Vine Whip, also attempting to wrap its vines around Honedge to throw it into the ground.

Fennekin tries to hit Hoothoot with a small fireball, but misses as it jumps from side to side, dodging incoming attacks. Honedge then charges into Fennekin, knocking it out with its boosted power! Carrie returns Fennekin to its Pokeball and sends out Pikachu! Honedge is suddenly caught by Bulbasaur's vines and used to slash Hoothoot while it was flying toward Bulbasaur! Hoothoot is taken down by its own ally! Danny returns Hoothoot and sends out Roggenrola! The headpiece on everyone reacts to it! When Roggenrola is scanned, they can all see a shadowy aura around it. It's a Shadow Pokemon!

Carrie: (Shade its one of those Shadow Pokemon what should we do?)
Carrie will play it safe for now. Pika take evasive maneuvers focus on doging and hit Hone edge with thunder shock when the moment is right

My plan is to gradually hurt it more and more over time with weak damage instead. I think that for a first capture, an attack on Roggenrola with some minor damage from Leech Seed should be enough. |
