I don't even remember what we were doing here outside of the tournament. I know that the island is highly suspected of being a front, but outside of trying to get confirmation of that (and seeing the host of the tournament use Shadow Pokémon pretty well hints at it) I didn't think we really had a plan here.

Alright, I just read over your latest mission briefing. You were coming here to investigate the island because Shade said it was suspicious while the professor checks out that shadowy crystal you got from the museum last time.

Carrie is staring at the egg and is completely focused on what is going to hatch. Carrie ignores Shades calls a couple of time a little because shes staring at the egg. Also she's still kinda of mad at him for not getting her a Squirtle while he was here.
Carrie finally acknowledged Shade and just shrugged her shoulders.
Fiiiiinnneeee whenever your ready let's go. Carrie is looking at the egg and trying to guess when it will hatch?
(How close is the egg to hatching? Can Braxien help it hatch sooner even though she doesn't have Flame Body or the one to speed up the process?)

The egg does not appear close to hatching right now. Carrie will simply have to be patient and watch after the egg carefully.

Now once there's confirmation that they aren't near anyone who may overhear them, Shade's going to ask if they saw anything of interest that he couldn't up in the stands.

(To Shade) Oh you were saying something, sorry I wasn't paying attention. What do you think will hatch? I would ask Coilette but she probably just say doggie. You know a Squirlte might have helped jogged my memory.
