Here are the sign ups. Same as the last one, but a few more options are available for race because of bought DLC. Before you sign up, keep in mind the limit is 4 to start. This includes new and old characters. I might allow you to add more later, but we need to start with way less characters than we did last time. Speaking of which, I'd like to open up this topic of discussion first before starting on anything. Would you like the characters from the original Lost Kingdom to travel with the new heroes OR would you like both teams to have separate storylines?

Activating New Game + for Lupis, Forrest, Infernus, and Mog. In other words I'm signing the four of them up but I'm too lazy to write a whole signup sheet out. As a reminder Forrest has his father's hair and eyes and is dressed in a gray ninja outfit but a mask that only covers his mouth while Infernus is a big guy with ref hair, red eyes, Ifrit's horns, and a large axe. As for what to do with the old heroes, I'm neutral either way.

I actually have an idea Just. I like the idea of splitting up the LK1 characters from the LK2 characters. Last time it felt like we were never in any danger because the LK1 characters were there to guide us and at least in character we always had a reason to feel comfortable because we had OP characters to turn to.
This time what if the two groups were forced into two different journies. Maybe they can be forced to follow after the reminese of Mark who turns out wasn't completely destroyed and still somehow lives on. Still he is very weak and no where as strong as he was. (He wouldn't be able to take over the guardian of darkness but still he's biding his time just waiting.)
The new characters are taking on an entirely different threat and they are more or less ripped away from there parents and are forces to make due with there own. Basically things are going to hell and they more or less have to figure it out.
We create two threads one just for LK1 characters and one just for LK2 characters.
They may interact everyone once and a while but they are still doing two separate but eaqul quests which when they eventually meet up for the grand finale they realize they were always doing one quest and that the two threats are the same.
But yeah two separate quests and two different threats.
As far as characters including Jess and Paul as separate characters.

I'd prefer separate storylines for both teams but it's not a super big deal. I'm also gonna vocalize how much I'd love to increase that character limit when possible, but I get it.

Nick (hmm mercanry, something more offensive ordinated compared to the knight) Felicia (she's going to be a time mage still and have a baby Chocobo. Wabbit Verian but without the whole detective thing)

I'm going to be starting soon, but there will be certain points in the story where you can introduce new characters. Since Blood and pk2k aren't here, in going to say that Oberund and Aven aren't around. I'll also have to create my own Vessel of Titan for now unless Blood returns and wants to play. It shouldn't be until the last continent anyway, so it isn't a big deal.
The original heroes will be in the Reversal World while the new heroes are in Ard (the name of the world the first game took place in.)
One last question, would you like to fight the vessels or would you prefer just to cut that part out entirely? I thought it made some interesting boss fights, but a lot of people didn't like it.

Tbh I'd kind of prefer having something like the vessels fighting a weaker version of their respective Eidolon one on one (and with the Eidolon's immunity to their own element removed so the vessels can actually hurt them) rather than having characters forced into a temporary possession induced face-heel turn.

On one hand, I was waiting for the Zana and Raza boss battles to fight the players again, on the other hand, I'm stuck with only two characters if we don't skip the vessels fights.

Maybe we can make it so that the vessels instead of being kidnapped there abilities or skills are sealed.
In order to get them back they have to fight an evil version of themselves (shadow version of there negative emotions) to regain there powers. Maybe make it until they beat there vessel counterpart they are stuck in the free lancer class, or something like empty shell. (Basically a class where they can function and aren't completely useless but they are certainly handicapped and are placed on a limit.)
This way when we have the boss battles against the vessels they still carry wait and they still have a gotta win this meaning but the people who control the vessels aren't completely out of it.
Maybe there is another way to make them incomplete like unable to speak, constantly moody, constantly sad, angry, happy, reckless. Or they arent as smart or some part of there personality or character is missing.

Or they arent as smart or some part of there personality or character is missing.Forcing someone to play a character differently from how they want to is part of the problem that having them as bosses was, I'm gonna have to object to this part. As for fighting a dark part of themselves that's more or less what I had in mind except with it being the Eidolon they represent intsead to be a bit less Persona-esque (that and because soloing an Eidolon would probably feel more exciting).

I wouldn't say take away a part but maybe a certain part of their personality gets taken to the extreme. (Example: Kelly is normally a bit shy but without her Vessel she's very shy and almost afraid to do anything.)
I don't know would losing there Eldions be a big incentive to get it back. I know when I lost Mica and Kelly i wanted to fight to get them back but I also really miss having them around too.
Trying to think of a way to make it so yeah we gotta face the Eldion instead of just plot reason.
