"Hmm... I don't think I would ever go up close and personal, but something like a bow or a crossbow is problematic if the enemy comes close... A spear would be ideal I think. Thanks for the help young man!" Varon will look at spears and take the one with the longest range he can find.  |

The girl looks at Jonathan and then back to her Note Beast. The Note Beast tilts its head a little, being curious as to what she might be thinking. The girl approaches slowly and reaches out a hand. As she pets it, the ferret nudges her hand to pet it more before climbing up her arm and snuggling her shoulder. It lets out a little purring sound. She smiles and pets it. "Um...I'm not to good with names, but um...I'll call you Leafet."

"Soooo ummm now that we have our beast what do we do now?" Jill asks very shyly as Cornelius stands dutifully by her side
"True I can't wait to get some trading in with this guy over here," Jack says as Brocker bangs his chest in agreement.
"Actually, I do have a question what causes our note beast to appear the way we do?". "Is it soley based on the instrument, the song we played, and the notes?". "Like how did I get a human, my brother got a lava golem, and someone got a cute little ferret?" Jill asked.

Melody breaks oit of her reverie and notices that everyone else has already chosen their notes and has summoned their beasts.
Oh no, not again! C'mon, I have to stop, stop zoning out!
Melody, steps forward to the two in charge. "Um... I'm sorry, I got lost in my thoughts... um.." She looks over the available notes.
Oh, there aren't any Celestial notes... That's okay I guess I'll have to pick something else... How about...
"Um, May i have a Water Note?" She asks, shyly.

Melody nods her head in thanks.
Now, what instrument should I choose.
Melody noticed several eyes were on her. Pressuring her hurry and choose.
Hmm. Well, I could go with something I know, but... Maybe I'll surprise Chory whenever I find him by playing him some new songs... Oh! How about a string instrument?
Melody selects a handheld Harp as her instrument, running her fingers over it gently and strumming it a bit.
She then steps onto the Altar, and closes her eyes...
Hmmm. I think I know the perfect song to play...
Melody played a song that reverbrated throughtout the room, bringing silence to the room. Depsite never playing the Harp before her song is surprisingly good with almost no mistakes.

As Melody plays her song, the note begins to sway gently from side to side to the rhythm. It plays her song back to her and the two play as it sounds almost like an entire symphony starts to play along. The note flashes a little bit and melts away into the air, becoming water. The water flows around gently in two separate streams. As it slowly lowers down in front of Melody, it forms together into the shape of a Note Beast. An elegant swan shape stands before her. The water then bubbles away into the air, replacing itself with an actual swan Note Beast. Its feathers are a pure white and its beak is dark blue. The feathers on the wings are tinted blue at the tips and it has long, gracefully slender legs that are also blue. Its eyes open, revealing that they look like they contain multiple bubbles constantly forming, growing, and popping. The swan looks at Melody, awaiting her response.

Melody opened her eyes and was greeted by her first note beast.
She's... beautiful. Hmmm. What should I name her... The name that most immediately comes to mind is...

Gerand looks over the new recruits and stands. "I'll take it from here, you guys." He motions for all of the new recruits to follow him. "Come on. The dorms are this way. You'll be staying over here while you're training with us."
Gerand takes everyone over to a large building that has multiple rooms inside. The only thing is that the building appears to be inside of a tree. "The hollow tree was used as a base for the building and we expanded from there. Rooms go all the way up in the treetops. There's actually a lot here. You can get a pretty good view of the base below too. But the rooms are a little small. Hopefully you and your roommates get along."
Erika nervously repeats the word. "R-r-roommates...?"
"Oh, yeah. Didn't think you'd get a room all to yourself, did you? Don't worry. Just remember that you're all on the same team and the same side. We're here to work together." Everyone is taken to their separate rooms by Gerand and he tosses their room keys to them one by one.
In the boys' wing, Varon and Edgar are sharing a room and Jack and Erius are sharing a room. In the girls' wing, Jill and Melody are sharing a room together.

Jack waves goodnight to Jill before heading to his room with Edgar(?).
"So any preference on what side doesn't matter to me?" Jack asks. Brocker is just chilling and checking out his surrounding.
Jill heads into the room with Melody and is still very shy and uncomfortable. "Why hello Melody is it?" Jill speaks very softly. "Umm nice to meet you, and your ummm note beast,". "This umm here is err ummm Cornielus and he's my um note beast," Jill says as she introduces her note beast.
"Yours umm is pretty so ummm what's her name?" Jill asks.
Cornelius stands next to Jill trying to reassure her everything will be fine.

What a quaint room. It's nicer than I've had in awhile. Mom would've loved the Earthy feel.
There's a moment of silence before Melody realizes that Jill asked the question.
"Oh, um, I'm sorry. I have a tendency to get lost in my thoughts. Yes, I'm Melody. And this", she says gesturing to her Note Beast,"is Diana."
Diana does a bow."It's a pleasure to meet you, child." She says in a a gentle voice.
Melody, puts her finger on her cheek, thinking of what to say.
"You're Jill, correct? It's great to meet you", she bends down a bit, looking st Cornelius,"It's nice to meet you too, Cornelius." She stands back up, looking a bit awkward. "I um hope we'll get along well."
