Erius shrugs. "I'm just happy to have a room! This place is so cool, right?" Rocky looks at Brocker and then at Jack. He lets out and approving horse sound. What is it, a snort? That sound where they expel air and make a weird flappy sound with their lips or whatever.

(Just as a side note about Diana, talking Note Beasts are incredibly rare and generally are only humanoid ones so far. I'm obviously not saying it shouldn't speak, this isn't my game or character and thus not my call, I'm just letting you know in case you thought it was a normal thing that most Note Beasts could use.)

"You can say that again," Jack says surveying the room. "So what were you up to before you joined the Hope Guild?" Jack asked.
Brocker sizes up Rocky and gives him the thumbs up (or whatever the equivalent of thumbs he has)
Jill
"Hi Melody and Diana, nice to meet you," Jill says.
"My lady it's fine no need to be so shy around them," Cornelius said. "My apologies Ms. Meoldy and Ms. Diana she seems to be a bit shy around new people," Cornelius said.
"It's not that but well I am actually more scared around note beast,". "I saw what one was capable of up close and well i am scared of what they can do," Jill said. "I am scared what if I am not strong enough to control one?" Jill asked. "What if I cause the same thing to happen tosomeone else that happened to me?" Jill said.
"My lady you have nothing to fear, I will be with you along the way,". "I am a part of you so you shouldn't have any fear about losing control," Cornelius told her.
"Thanks I think but I am still scared of using Note Beast," Jill said
"Melody what about you, what's your story?" Jill asked.

"Oh, um... well, My parents had their own Note Beasts and my siblings and I used to play with them. They never used them to fight... They were more like companions. I... suppose I'm fairly comfortable around them..."
She looks at Siana, who has her eyes closed, relaxed, calm, and listening.

Varon looks at the room, and just sits, looking at his new spear. It seems Varon came with literally nothing. He looks at Edgar and concerned asks:
"Is it really hard to get used to using a weapon... I mean... I never fought in my entire life."

Edgar looks at Varon and looks at his weapon. "It comes more naturally to some than others. I was trained to use one. So I picked up on it fairly quickly."
Erius seems relaxed and leans on the wall. "Me? I was in a small village up in the mountains. I wanted to come down here and do my part to help everyone."

"Me I was just traveling the land setting off on my own,". "I was on an island when my sister found me,". "Something happened back at home, shadows invaded and were destroying everything and killing anyone in there path,". "She told me how a note beast arrived and was able to stop the shadows but at a cost,". "The note beast unleashed a mighty attack and several buildings were caught up in the attack one of those was my house and my parents were inside," Jack said.
"I don't blame the conductor for what he did,". "From what I gathered the coundoctor was in a rough spot, save a large group of civilians, or risk letting the shadow kill any of them,". "Yet my sister only saw the attack that wiped out our parents house," Jack said.
"I am here because of her, and to help protect those so that something like that dose't happen to anyone else," Jack said in a more serouis tone. "Welp that's all there is too me nothing special," Jack said as he leaned up against a wall.
Jill
Jill still seems very unsure about everything but at least her note beast and meoldy's seem okay. "I am here because well I hoping this can help me get over that day," Jill kinda of trails off. "I hope I can learn more about Note Beasts and maybe hel help those in need,". "Yet, I still feel so nervous about Note Beast,". "I just hope I....," Jill stops herself from a moment.
"Like my brother said baby steps no need to force anything," Jill thought.
"Anyways ummm sorry for being so awkward and shy," Jill said

"Wow, I didn't know things were that bad here. My village is mostly safe and was spared the chaos. It's because we live so far away from the other large towns. And we had a few members from Golden Sun protecting us at the time. Now we're regularly looked after by soldiers in the Hope Guild. But I wanted to join them because it looked so cool. I never really thought about how serious it might be though..."

Okay, I'm gonna be confident and stop acting shy. One of us has two or we'll never get anywhere. Just like Harmony taught me...
Melody smiles.
"It's fine, Jill. I don't mind it at all. It's fine if you're still a little uncomfortable around Note Beasts. And I'm kind of awlward, too, so that's okay with me... So, um..."
Melody looks around the room abit, trying to find something to say.
"Which side of the room do you want? I don't mind either way." She gives Jill a reassuring smile.

"Okay I will take the left side," Jill said making her way to the left side of the room. "Hey Melody can I tell you something?" Jill asked. "Since we are going to be together a lot I can tell you why I scared of Note Beasts?" Jill said.
Jack
"Nah its serouis yeah, but doesn't mean we can't enjoy the journey along the way,". "Otherwise your going to be so tightly wound and nervous you wouldn't be able to do anything,". "By the way I like your note beast over there he looks like a really good stud," Jack said as Brocker looked at him.
"What your pretty cool yourself to buddy," Jack told Brocker. "Anyways here's to a long and fruitful journey and partnership," Jack said extending his hand.

"They mentioned something about training tomorrow. So they'll probably teach you. For now I'm getting some sleep. It's been a long day." Edgar heads to bed. He didn't seem to bring anything with him aside from his equipment.
He accepts Jack's handshake with a smile. "Yup! This should be fun!" Erius then unpacks a few of his things. You notice he doesn't have much, but he seems content with it. He then heads to bed. And...he seems to snore a bit.
