Melody reaches out for the orb and says she wants to go to the garden. A pale light engulfs her; she disappears just as the monster sends another tentacles slamming down.
She falls to the ground. That was... definitely not what she needed... Melody can hear thrashing and roaring coming from within the well, but she forces herself to ignore it and begins gathering some herbs. She finds some used treat burns, grinding them to a paste and rubbing the mix on the affected areas. It feels cool and soothes the pain significantly. The frozen skin, however, she can't find a cure for in the book. It's definitely slowing her down, with one leg stiff and hard to move and one arm still frozen solid. It's thawing - slowly, and painfully.
"That looks pretty bad. Y'know, now might be a good time to crack open that map," the voice suggests.
The orb's glow is diminished slightly. Melody can guess it only has another two or three uses. Diana goes to check the final room. Which is also the first room. She flies from the servant's quarters back to the library - catching sight of Melody returning - then north into the attic. It's still about the same. There's a bunch of discarded furniture and knick-knacks laying around. She notices an old trunk on one side that's sealed with a padlock. It's labeled "Servant's spare belongings." Where could the key be, though? Other than that, there's a very large pile of junk near where she first broke out of her box. She could spend some time rifling through that, but it may not turn up anything particularly useful.

Melody decides to take a short rest in the garden while the ice thaws.
Meanwhile, Diana will search the trunk(break it open if need be) and examine its contents.

Melody rests and lets herself thaw. It's extremely unpleasant, like thousands of tiny needles...
The garden's no longer such a restful place now that the lake monster is screaming from below.
Melody regains use of her frozen limbs, though the skin is strangely discolored from the damage. She's also got several bruises and her chest hurts from being grabbed and flung.
Melody recovers from seriously injured to badly injured. She isn't going to get any better without some better rest. That big, plush bed springs to mind... It would feel so nice to just lie down in some thick blankets and sleep... Diana attempts to break into the chest. It resists all her attempts at brute force.

Search all the rooms for a key of some sorts.
NO! That bed... is obviosuly s... trap.... I can't risk that... I have to save Diana...
Melody will telport back to the 2nd floor landing. She'll try the east foor this time. Being ESPECIALLY careful of traps and her footing, trying not to get launched AGAIN.

Melody teleports to the 2nd floor landing. The gem's glow is clearly faded. It's probably got... 2 uses left? She opens the east door, leaping back as she feels a spring mechanism trip. A panel shoots up and would have launched her, but she's not falling for that one again.
"Heh. Falling."
Shut up. Melody creeps into the next room. The wooden floor is almost entirely destroyed. A huge hole in the center shows the master bedroom below. The outskirts of the room have a few planks and beams, enough that she could skirt around the edges of the room if she wanted. There are 4 doors going in all 4 directions - all with relatively large, safe-looking platforms to stand on. There are also a series of colorful holes - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple - that she could use as hand and footholds. A note near the door says:
"Which are safe? A test of memory. You must use them in sequence. Green, blue, ____, red."
If Melody wants to go through any of the other doors (instead of going back to the landing), she'll need to decide whether to risk not using the hand and footholds, or guess the missing color... Diana searches for the key in the entirety of the area.
...She already did a cursory scan and didn't see it. She'll need to pick something specific to search.

Diana should search in the library for the key or any suspicious looking books.
Can melody use a Grapple arrow to shoot above one of the door and climb over...? Or do inhave ro look up the color combo.

That is exactly a thing a grapple arrow can do, if you're willing to use one of your two remaining arrows and don't want to solve a simple-ish puzzle. And unlike when firing while falling and off-balance, it's almost definitely going to work fine.

Soooooo.....

Melody walks into what appears to be a baby's room. A soft crying emanates from within a nearby bassinet.
There's one more door to Melody's right, the house's west. Diana goes through the library, looking for a key. A key. Gotta find a key. Key. Key. No key.
