"Huh? Oh, hey! I didn't know anyone else was in here either. Sure, let's head through this dungeon together." While he's busy and distracted, it seems all your shouting has made the clam creatures wake up. The four of them start to make their way toward the zora and open their mouths, getting ready to lunge and chomp on him.

"Look out!" Speed through the water, racing towards the clams in order to attack them before they reach him.

You quickly swim through the water and slash one of the clams that leaps at him, cutting the inside and causing it to split in half. He then has enough time to avoid the attacks of the other two, launching the two fins on his arms like boomerangs to take out two more of the clams. Only one is left. You're fairly certain that you could probably edit it if you wanted to.

Edit it. bool IsClamHostile = 1; (Note that in a bool variable, 0 is true and 1 is false. As such this would mean that the clam is no longer hostile)

You edit the clam and it simply starts to ignore both you and the Zora. The Zora seems interested by this and takes note of your ability to edit things. "Well, that takes care of that. Should we find where this key goes then?"

"In a second, I just need to do this first." Insert the blue orb into the pedestal.

You insert the blue orb into the pedestal and a slot opens up, giving you a Moon Stone. "Huh. Looks like you know you're way through here better than I do."

"There was another pedestal like this in another room earlier. On a similar note, I'm pretty sure I saw the door for that key near the entrance. This way!" Swim back to the main room.

You head back to the main room and show the Zora the locked door. He uses the key and it's a perfect fit! The lock clicks and falls away, allowing you inside.
As the group heads inside, they find a large room with a single, small platform in the center surrounded by water. There's two pedestals sitting there. One shaped like the sun and the other shaped like the moon. You also see two giant doors that stand at the other end of the room. One with an image of the sun on it and the other with the image of the moon on it. There's also large, magical chains around the door.

Place the stones on the corresponding pedestals.

You place the stones in the corresponding slots and wait a moment. Watching them work, both pedestals light up brightly and you see the magic chains on the doors shatter as the sun and moon design on them starts to glow. You start to advance toward the doors, but a wall of water suddenly surrounds the platform the doors are on, blocking it off.
You notice a mysterious eye shaped gem float up in a stream of water look at you before changing to turn red in color.

Alright, in addition to Lyn who's already out let's summon Nightmare, Agnes (White Mage with Ninjutsu as a sub command), Golbez, and Xerneas. Agnes will use Kairai on Nightmare so that the eyeball is forced to aim any single target attacks at him. Nightmare will raise his cape and defend, if the Star Rod can't hurt him through it then this thing definitely isn't doing anything to him. Lyn will fire an arrow to knock it off of the water pillar onto the ground before anyone else attacks and if she has time to follow up she'll switch to the Sol Katti and use Astra (I know that FE characters can't use skills on command and that originally she didn't even have Astra, but in any later games like Awakening or Heroes she usually has it and if skills are random then the only options for them if they aren't in Smash are attacking with one weapon or another). Golbez will use Bio on the eye, inflicting Sap is always good. Xerneas will begin charging up with Geomancy. I'll equip the Hard Core Sword and use Warp Braver (teleport above it and perform a falling swing as a reminder). Finally, during all of this Lupis will prepare a Focused Attack.

(So much for phase 1...)
Agnes activates her Kairai ability while Nightmare lifts his cape in a defensive stance. Four large tentacle-like appendages made of water come up out of the water and slam into him, but seem to have no effect. Lyn then shoots an arrow at the eye gem in the water, damaging it. She then takes out Sol Katti and slashes at the eye gem five times. Golbez then casts Bio on the eye gem, but the water itself changes to a green and purple color. Is that...good or bad? Xerneas takes its chance to charge up and absorbs energy. You then take out the Hardcore Sword and use Warp Braver to damage the eye further. The Zora aims his fins and launches them into the gem before Lupis lunges forward and jabs at the eye gem as well.
You hear what sounds like some sort of gargling roar from the water as the entire room shakes. The eye gem drops back into the water, but quickly pops back up, this time having what looks like a giant shark-like head around it. The shark head opens its jaws and spews a poison gas breath over the party, poisoning everyone (that can be poisoned). You then notice waterfalls starting to pour in from the walls with the green and purple water slowly rising. Four large tentacle-like appendages appear from the water and float over the party, looking like they're preparing for an attack. The Penguin Detective runs around in a panic. Looks like he's completely useless in a fight.

Dammit, the whole reason for using Bio was that with it just floating there the arrow should have been enough to knock it off of the water so the Bio wouldn't have infected it, just the eye. Alright, since it's poison instead of sap Agnes will groupcast Esuna to remove the poison. That being said, we need to do something to stop the rising water. Golbez will cast Blizzaga on the areas the water is coming up from before freezing platforms for the party members that can't fly, something tells me that standing in the toxic water won't end well. Lyn will switch out for the Chocobo since she's not much good in a fight without room to dodge, and the Chocobo will use Choco Meteor. Nightmare will teleport around the room barraging the shark with stars while me (Rainbow Sword equipped) and Lupis fly around performing hit and run melee attacks from behind and to the side of it (it's only got one eye directly on the front of its head, there's no way it has good peripheral vision). Xerneas will finish charging up Geomancy and swoop the penguin onto its back with its antlers before launching a Moonblast at the shark.

Agnes casts Esuna, dispelling the poison from her allies. Golbez then casts Blizzaga, creating a couple of platforms for the party members unable to fly. He makes sure to freeze the walls as well, stopping more water from pouring in. Lyn then disappears and is replaced with a Chocobo that drops a small meteor on top of the shark head where the eye gem is. Nightmare launches stars in it as well along with your hit and run attacks with Lupis. It looks like the sludgey exterior protects the Eye Gem for the most part though, covering over it when you attack. You'll need to find a way to expose it so you can hit the actual gem. Xerneas then scoops up the Penguin Detective on its back and launches a powerful Moonblast into the shark head, actually managing to damage it and piercing through the toxic water exterior. The Zora stands on his platform and launches his fins at the eye gem, doing what seems like weak damage. "Sorry, I can't do much without being able to get in the water. But maybe if I could get in there..."
The four tentacle-like appendages smash into different people. One hits Lupis, doing damage that he barely notices, one hits the Zora, doing some decent damage, one hits the Chocobo, also doing decent damage, and one tries to hit Nightmare, but he teleports out of the way and avoids the attack. The shark head then opens its jaws and launches a powerful blast of toxic water at Xerneas, doing some heavy damage thanks to the fairy type being weak to poison. Xerneas is also poisoned from the attack. But luckily, he managed to protect the Detective Penguin. The platform that Chocobo and the Zora are standing on starts to shake violently. The enemy must be planning on doing something with it...
