It does not seem possible to put the Tanglerose in the orb unless it came from the orb.

It looks like the flowers are winning this fight.

Purple Tanglerose steps back and hides during the battle while Magnolia sets many of the enemy Tangleroses on fire with a Firaga blast. Terra then runs in and tears off a flaming Tanglerose thorn vine and swings it like a whip, taking out a few soldiers with it. You then knock the arrows from the fairies off course with telekinesis. It seems you've caught the attention of a few of the groups. A few fairy mages start to cast spells at you as a blue light surrounds them. There's also a few Solar Soldiers that start firing beams of light in your direction, a few of them hitting Terra and damaging her. Rena helps to interrupt the casting of some of the fairy mages, firing arrows into them and also weakening them enough that they can be edited. K's bell rings and the Solar Soldiers all start to accidentally shoot each other instead of Terra.

As the insanity continues along, you notice what looks to be like the leaders of each group. Their commanders. A giant, red and green plant with a large mouth and sharp teeth is leading the flowers and Solar Soldiers and a fairy girl with a large crossbow is leading the fairies. You see the girl with the crossbow fly over many of the Solar Soldiers, mowing them down with magical, red blasts from her crossbow. The giant plant launches large balls of exploding sludge on some of the fairy soldiers that it sees as well.

Rena nods when you tell her to focus on not the fairies. When Terra calls to the fairy commander she looks a little surprised. "Huh? Yeah, okay. Everyone, focus on the flowers, not the bird guy!"

Terra continues to whip the enemy soldiers while you summon Frog and he cuts through the enemies with the Masamune. He also makes sure to lick Terra and heal her wounds. You catch one of the sludge bombs from the giant plant creature and launch it into the enemies, taking out a large group and drowning them in sludge. Rena provides support arrow fire from behind, taking out the enemy Solar Soldiers that try to strike back at Terra. K's bell rings once again and many of the enemy Tangleroses are accidentally tangling up their vines, giving the ally fairy mages enough time to blast them away with fire magic.

With you help, the fairies start to take most of the battlefield. There are plenty of editable Solar Soldiers and Tangleroses around and the enemy commander is open for attack now. The fairy commander is flying toward him, looking ready to battle.

One of the Solar Soldiers is fully restored and changes color to become purple before it runs off and hides in the bushes with Purple Tanglerose. Magnolia and Frog manage to easily take out more normal enemies with the fairies, La Rena, and K helping them. You then head forward and watch the fairy commander battle the flower commander with Terra.

The fairy commander flies around, launching homing projectiles before launching a large, spherical projectile. It looks like she does a good job of damaging the enemy, but then needs to reload and gets caught in an attack as the giant flower flaps its leaves and flies up in the air before knocking the fairy commander into the ground with its big head and performing a body slam. She seems badly injured from that attack.

Ribbons appears from your sphere and takes the fairy commander off to safety while using Wish. You're fairly sure you see what looks like a shooting star dart across the night sky. Magnolia and Frog protect the two of them while finishing off the remaining normal enemies in the area. The giant plant creature takes in a deep breath and spits out a giant blast of sludge toward Terra with its mouth, however, all the sludge is slammed back into its mouth, filling its stomach, making it fat, and causing it to flop over helplessly. Terra jumps up and lands multiple punches on the plants large stomach, causing it to barf up all the sludge it ate before you use telekinesis to smash the sludge it vomits into it for more damage. Rena swings past on a vine and fires some arrows into the plant before you control Excalibur with Telekinesis and land multiple powerful slashes on the plant creature.
