Ignatius
You proceed to walk towards the mountains. You walk. And walk. And walk. They don't seem to be getting any closer. You're starting to think this may be futile when a silhouette appears in front of you, then suddenly flashes. A beautiful, winged woman with glowing golden hair appears in front of you, surrounded by several tiny pixies. "You should not be here, human. Are you lost?" she asks.

Ignatius
"A dream? Ah... I see." The large fairy folds her arms over her chest and stares at you. At least, you think she's staring at you at first. After a moment, you feel something lightly thump against your head. A tiny pair of legs appear in front of your face as what you can only assume is that annoying pixie from earlier takes a seat.
You realize that while she looks almost identical, she's dressed a bit differently from the other pixies that are all drifting around the large fairy. Their clothes are blue and look... almost modern, maybe even artificial, while hers are made of stitched-together green leaves.
Iggy's Spot Hidden check: 8/25 - Strong Success
You also notice that she's the only pixie not wearing boots, and instead has a tiny, golden flower tied around her left ankle. Struggling to get a glimpse without throwing her off, you manage to see another around her right wrist.
When you look at the large fairy again, you can't help be notice the similarities. She's dressed in a flowing, green dress with golden flower patterns embroidered around the edges. She's similarly barefoot, except for a pair of golden anklets in the shape of intertwined flowers, and matching bracelets adorns her wrists.
The large fairy continues to quietly stare at you - or, rather, your passenger - with her arms crossed. While doesn't seem angry, she's clearly not happy. She seems to be waiting for an explanation.
(If you don't want to cut in, I'm just going to keep adding a few lines every few hours until you do)

"It's a long story..." Ignatius will explain everything. Heading into the forest in the hopes of finding some answers, meeting the fairy currently sitting on his head, saving her from a web that in hindsight she probably could have gotten out of anyways, asking her only to find that she didn't know, winding up owing her favors, bringing her what she asked for but ending up stuck in the forest at night, getting attacked by what she described as a Kobold, fighting it off with her help, falling asleep from exhaustion, and somehow winding up here. "...And that's about it. Now, seeing how I've told you my side of things, can I get an explanation about where I am?"

Ignatius
Time: Day 2, Thursday Location: Forest Glade
A yawn and the feeling of something fidgeting against your chest wakes you up. You open your eyes to find that pixie stretching and rubbing her eyes, propped up on your arm. You seem to be leaning against a tree. It takes you a minute to remember where you are.
The pixie takes flight and hovers in front of your face. "That was really fun last night! Too bad Mom said you can't come back. Well, not to the real glade, but you can come back here! And play with me! Oh, hey, hey! What do you wanna do today? Do you wanna play with me some!?"

"That was more fun than I thought it'd be, but I should really be getting back to investigating, especially now that I've got something to go off of. Come to think of it, maybe it's time to give that old book another look in light of all this."

"Awwww. OK!" the pixie got over her disappointment awfully quick. As you turn to leave, you feel something tugging at the back of your shirt. You turn to see her looking at you with a hard-to-read look on her face. "Hey, ummmmmm... If you need help with something sometime, you can come ask me. I can be really super-helpful! But, but! You're gonna hafta spend some time an' play with me in return, 'kaaaaay? Oh, 'n' I'm not allowed to leave in the morning, or Daddy will be mad... Oh, and if you ask reaaaaaaaally nicely and bring a reaaaaaally nice offering, maybe I could even convince Mom to help you! But you'll have to come at night if you want to speak to her."
A faint bond of trust has formed... Ignatius reached Fate level 3 with the Forest Fairies.
You head back to your tent without any trouble. Are you going to skim it or read it?

Skim it for anything that stands out as being relevant, then read those parts more closely.

Iggy
You crack open your journal and take some time trying to get an idea of what it's all about.
Iggy loses 1 sanity
Almost immediately after opening the book, you find some drawings of a few different demonic beings. Before, you always thought they were just doodles, but now... There's also a few sigils drawn along with them.
It's pretty hard to make out the scrawling handwriting, and it takes most of the morning.
Then there's some stuff about a blood ritual.
The next section starts with a drawing of your brand, but it's written in some foreign language that you've never been able to identify. It almost looks like hieroglyphics.
Next has several... ingredients? And instructions. It might be an alchemical recipe.
Last... seems to be a list of spells. Large chunks of this section are missing, damaged, or illegible. There's only two spells still fully written. One shows someone throwing a fireball. The other shows a badly injured man, then a drawing that seems to show his injuries healed.

"Figures that the most important part is in some other language. Well, maybe these spells would be useful. Did it really have to be a fireball, though?" Read up on the spells.

Swaltzer
Location: Fairgrounds
You head to the fairgrounds like Celandine asked. When you arrive and mention your name, you're let into the tent immediately. You recognize several of the performers from the celebration Monday night, as well as what appear to be a handful of new recruits. Or... maybe they're just clowns without their makeup or something, who knows. They're split into several groups, running different drills.
You spot Celandine quickly enough. It's not hard, since she's being thrown into the air repeatedly by a pair of strongmen. She floats in midair for an impressive amount of time, performing impressive acrobatic feats before easily transitioning back into the landing. She seems very practiced, you wonder if this drill might be mostly for the sake of the throwers...
When Celandine notices you, her face lights up. She whispers something to the strongmen, and they chuck her in your general direction. She seems to glide over to you, wrapping her arms around your neck and giving you a kiss on the cheek... with her bottom half still floating. "Swaltzy! I'm so glad you came!"
Her black-haired twin - the ringmaster - looks your way from the center of the ring. She narrows her eyes at you.
Celandine doesn't notice. She's beaming brightly - or perhaps mischievously. "So-o-o-o, Swaltzy, you want to join in for a bit? I'd love to give you some lessons to pay you back for the other night. Well, that, and it'd be fun. What d'ya say, hm?"

Let's start with the healing spell, if anything goes wrong while learning the fireball spell it will be good to have a way to patch myself up.
