She takes some measurements from the machines and scribbles some notes. A lot of notes. Then walks over to a strange, human-sized, box-like machine and starts entering the data on a connected laptop.

Delia stops typing to stare at Kayla blankly, then shrugs a bit and turns back to work. "Am I supposed to know who that is? And why are you still wearing those leads? You can take them off. ...Whatever. Doesn't matter. I'm ready to get start... ed... Huh." She looks at the screen, then grabs a nearby notebook. "Did someone... No, I must've entered this data wrong...? That would've... been bad." She makes a few corrections, then turns back to everyone.
"So? Are you all ready to make history?"

"Dead body...?" Delia tilts her head, then shrugs again. She seems to like that gesture. "That's a weird souvenir, but whatever you want, I guess. And it's not a 'dimension' of giant snakes, thank you. That snake was just a member of a servitor race. One could be summoned anywhere, more or less. Except places under the protection of an elder god. The Dreamlands are relatively safe, as alternate dimensions go. Yeah, there's some scary monsters, but people visit pretty frequently without dying. Most people just don't remember. Or can't tell it apart from normal dreams." She walks over to a bookcase and pulls out a large tome as she speaks. She flips it open to a two-page illustration. Other than being in black-and-white, it looks pretty identical to the landscape you saw that day, mostly, but with less ominous fog. "If you want to leave, then leave."
