Alright... Ice seems to be effrctive on enemies liek this... It's probably best to eliminate the vines first...
Meldoy readies an Ice Arrow, aiming at one of the vines.
Diana Shoots Crescent Feathers at the other vine, understanding Melody's line of thinking.

BB: "Well, this is crap." Slam uses a fiery Dunk on the vine that Melody aims at, after she fires her arrow. B-Ball Mage will Dribble all on the Tanglerose's face.

B-Ball Mage, Melody, Elegra
Melody launches an ice arrow at one of the vines, freezing it before it shatters apart before Slam tackles the other vine while coated in flames, burning it away. B-Ball Mage throws his ball at the main body while Tulip switches with Vie. Vie unleashes an icy gust while Elegra moves in for an attack on the main body as well. Diana uses her crescent feathers on the main body as well to help damage it. So far, the group seems to be doing well.
The enemy lunges forward and bites Elegra, damaging her pretty badly with her other injuries taken into account.

(Wait, are they all counted as a single enemy? Also, how wooden are they? I'm thinking of having Jonathan make most of his weapons as well as light armor for anyone from leather using hides of certain enemies, and if they're enough to make them more durable yet still gives them the consistency of skin these migh work as an early game material.)

B-Ball Mage will try Fouling the enemy. Slam will activate Intercept and try to tank any incoming attacks.

My bad, I forgot to give you a number. They're partially wooden. You'd get a weird wooden fur from them if you gather materials from them. |

Elegra rushes in with Poison Kiss, Vie will wait until the enemy's about to lunge again, then Slip it.

Melody will fire anpther Ice Arrow at the enemy.
Diana will go in close with Aquarius Swandive in an effort to keep the enemy off of Elegra.

(It's more the skin in interested in harvesting than the fur, but okay then.)
"Try to focus on hitting multiple with your attacks, and don't let them spread out and flank us!"
Frostoise will use Shell Guard, pulling everything but its tail into its shell as Jonathan uses Grab on said tail. He'll then swing him around like a massive flail attempting to hit as many as possible (aiming Frostoise's center of mass at rib height) and to knock them together into a pile.

B-Ball Mage, Melody, Elegra
B-Ball Mage runs in and kicks the plant while Elegra attacks with another Poison Kiss. Diana runs in for a Aquarius Swandive, shortly followed by an ice arrow shot by Melody. As the Giant Tanglerose tries to attack, Vie creates an icy patch beneath it and Slam flies in front of it. The attack is messed up and weakened as it tries to bite Slam. The Giant Tanglerose lets out a roar and opens it mouth wide.
