You attempt to comfort her by patting her on the back in a sort of awkward fashion. It is then silent for a while before she stands and speaks. "Well then, you should get some rest, Xavier. You likely haven't fully recovered yet and I don't want you falling asleep tomorrow while you're working."
"Does that mean I can stay here?"
"Of course you can." She smiles and then cleans up a bit, doing the dishes and all. "Alright then, I'll see you in the morning. I'm just exhausted. Make sure you get some sleep as well. Goodnight." She leaves the main room and heads off to bed.
It looks like you're free to roam around and do whatever you want now.

You return to your room and remember that all your stuff is all over the bed. Hm. You decide to pick it all up and move it elsewhere so you can sit in your bed. Making sure to empty your pockets and properly arrange your room so it isn't a mess, you're then able to lay in your bed with that mystery novel you found. The story is an interesting one with betrayal and plot twists and deep mysteries. Reading about this detective's work makes your feel almost like you're learning a bit somehow...
You feel you now know how to Interrogate someone properly.
You then place the book aside on the bedside table, feeling exhausted. It's been a long day. You reflect over your actions for the day. Did you make the right choices...?
You then slip into a deep sleep as you think...
