Paula: Hmm who would gain the most by taking the gem (Paula wonders). Hmm apparently its someone who can either pass through walls or teleport or float or fly. Pika Pika its going to be tough isn't it.

"Alright, so the info that we've all gathered suggests that the thief is a legendary, isn't widely viewed as a threat judging by them convincing Sparky that they're a friend of ours, can teleport, likely isn't actually hostile towards us since they had the oppurtunity to kill us in our sleep, and has to be small enough to fit in the dorms. The second and fourth points provide evidence that they probably don't have particularly dangerous motives, but it's the first and third that will help us discern their identity. The Pokemon that best fit those descriptions would be Mew, Mewtwo, Celebi if it instead came here at a different point in time and jump to last night, or Jirachi. Jirachi could probably be ruled out due to the fact that it would be a huge coincidence if it was even awake at this point in time based on it's extremely lengthy sleep cycle, and Mewtwo may not even exist here, so that leaves us with Mew or Celebi, and considering that Celebi is only on the list due to roundabout methods my guess would be Mew. Still, what would they want with the Shadow Gem?"

Charcoal: Maybe they wanna get stronger too! Or not...I guess nobody else thinks about getting stronger all the time like me.
Sparky: MAYBE they wanted the Shadow Gem for something none of us have thought of yet!

Sparky: Oh, I just heard you guys talking and thought I would join in.

Sparky: Exactly! Oh, I have things to do. Zar will get mad if I don't hurry up...See ya!
Sparky runs off, leaving everyone alone again.

Paula goes to Cinder and whispers to him. Hmm it's probably safe to assume that most o if not all member of Team Rising Sun were once human. This is just a thought but what if the Pokemon that took the Shadow Gem is the same Pokemon that brought us here and turned us into Pokemon. I think Mew is a good guess, but what about Pokemon like Mespirit or its relatives, Dialga or Palikia or maybe Giritina. Giritina could cross through our world and the distortion world, he is a giant shadow dragon thing it would probably have a use for a shadow gem.
Its just an idea though and I wanted to run it past you.

"The lake trio could also be a good guess, although off the top of my head I'm not sure about them being able to teleport. As for the Creation Trio, while the thought of Giratina dimension hopping, Dialga doing the same time traveling trick as Celebi, or Palkia ripping a hole in the fabric of space certainly crossed my mind, I'm pretty sure that they couldn't fit in here. In any case, that... other idea... is certainly an interesting one."

Sparky: If you sent in yourself and Charcoal you would have drowned! Fire Pokemon aren't good in water. And Paula and Chip would just zap themselves! I speak from experience...

The team returns with Werp in tow along with a couple of other Pokemon. It looks like the three of them are knocked out. Markus quickly explains what happened to everyone.
Char: Whoa, so you're saying that they were fused together by one of those gems!?
The Shadow Gem found with them is presented to the whole group.
Char: It looks bigger than the last one we found. That doesn't seem like a good thing...

"Yeah, that Shadow Gem looks worrying, not to mention that we'll probably be visited overnight by our 'friend' who took the last one. I'm going to stay up and keep watch this time. In any case, it's great to see that you guys managed to save Werp, and maybe when these other two wake up we can find out more about them."
