"Tab...you yelled at me today. Do you hate me? Wait, Morgan is mad at me!? Oh, right, I completely forgot about all that stuff today. Haha!" There's a moment of awkward silence. "...Help me find Lisa."
"...Um, are you... okay...? Wait, what's this about Lisa? Is she missing? Look, tell me where she might be or where she might be thinking of going and I'll go search. We can settle our differences later."
"Lisa freaked out because she thought she caused a lot of bad things to happen to me. Then she ran off and I'm really scared she might be going to the other world. I don't know where she is, but we have to find her. Um...where she is..."
A. "We should check the park."
B. "We should check the mall."
C. "We should check the graveyard."

"We should check the graveyard. See you there." Somnis hangs up. "Come on, guys. Let's get moving. Tab's going to be joining us at the graveyard."
The three of them run off together toward the graveyard.
Everyone meets up at the graveyard and Somnis begins to run around through the graves, searching frantically and calling for Lisa. "Lisa! Lisa, where are you!?" She then pauses a moment as another memory resurfaces.
This is the place where Lisa and I first went to the other world. She saved me from that dragon in the swamp. I guess she's always been there, looking out for me. Even when I didn't know her. If it weren't for that day, I may have never gotten involved with all this other world stuff. I'd never really get close to Lisa. I'd never make all the friends I have now. Now that I think about it...everything came from that one day. Before then I didn't have any friends or anything. Then Lisa was there. And she's never left my side. Not until...
"...Lisa..." Somnis looks up and notices Mattea looking at her.
"Somnis, are you alright?"
"...Yeah, I'm fine. Focus on finding Lisa. She's what matters the most. Hurry up! I can't let her get hurt!" Mattea steps back and then nods. The group then begins to search around for Lisa.
A long time passes and it seems almost pointless. Night falls while the group is still searching. Eventually Somnis stands up and lets out a sigh. "It's no use. We need to look somewhere else. We can't keep wasting our time here."
A. "We're going to the park."

"You two go to Lisa's house. Dogachu and I are going to look for Lisa on our own." Somnis then takes out the silver heart bracelet and hands it to Dogachu. "Take me to Lisa." Dogachu barks and runs off with Somnis chasing after.
They run through the streets in the rain as it begins to fall even harder.
Please be safe. Please, please be safe. Lisa...
As Somnis follows Dogachu she begins to recognize where she is. This place feels familiar. Wait, this is definitely where she lives. Dogachu has taken Somnis back home.
Did...Lisa come back home...?
Somnis gives Dogachu a questioning look as he walks up to the door and looks back to her letting out a small whine. "...Alright, let's take a look." A look of determination crosses Somnis' face as she steps forward and opens the door. Slowly, it reveals the inside. Nothing there. "It looks like mom isn't home. Must be working late. Everything is like I left it..." She walks in and looks around. A feeling of hopelessness begins to come across her. "I...I can't find her..."
Dogachu then walks up to her and gives a loud bark, gaining her attention.
"...Dogachu?" He looks at her intensely. It's like he understands the entire situation somehow...
Somnis, you're not about to give up so quickly, are you?
Somnis gasps and takes a step back before she suddenly steps into a dark area. This place...this is where she's taken during her dreams. The man from before is sitting at the table. "You have a loved one waiting for you, don't you? You can't give up hope just yet. Listen to me, Somnis. You are this world's hope. You must never forget that. Now take that hope and make it into something. Continue onwards. Do not give in. The path to the truth is open to you. You must follow this difficult path and survive. Now go. She's waiting for you at the place you first met. Be prepared. This will not be an easy battle. But I do have a gift for you." The man places an object on the table. That's...the bracelet Somnis gave to Dogachu to help find Lisa. "Wear this. It will grant you the strength you need for the trial at hand."
"But...how will I know when to use it or even how?"
"It will come to you."
"But..."
"No more questions. The time to act is now."
Almost as quickly as the vision came, it disappears. Somnis finds herself standing in the living room.
These dreams aren't dreams, are they? These are real.
Somnis looks at the bracelet in her hand.
Lisa...I will find you and I will save you.
Dogachu stands by Somnis' side, wagging his tail and letting out a bark. "Right, let's go."
A. Go to the mall.
B. Tell Tab and Mattea to meet you at the mall.
C. Tell Buttons to meet you at the mall.
D. Tell Dogachu to stay here. You have to do this alone.

Somnis quickly texts Tab and Mattea before heading off to the mall.
The group gets to the outside of the mall at midnight, grouping back together. "Alright, Tab. This is definitely the place. Where we first met..."
This is where I first met Lisa. That one day I was here with Buttons. Little did I know that girl I met would change my life. Well, here I am now. It's up to us. Let's do this!
"Let's do this!" The party heads over to the nearby fountain. There, they notice Lisa sitting on the edge of the fountain. She looks over her shoulder at the water, facing away from you.
Somnis steps forward and calls out to her. "Lisa! Is that you? We're here!"
Lisa continues to sit with her face away from Somnis as she runs toward her. "...Go away. You shouldn't have come here." She stands from the fountain edge and positions her body so she faces away from Somnis.
"...Lisa? What's wrong? It's me, Somnis! Let's go home, okay? You can stay at my house tonight if you want."
"...No. I'll only get you hurt. You should stay away from me." Lisa then looks over her shoulder at Somnis, her eyes glowing red.
"What the-!?"
"Stay away. Go away. Leave me. You'll be happier without me."
"Stop saying that! Lisa, what's wrong with you!? Why are your eyes...?"
Mattea then runs up to Somnis and pulls her back. "Don't get any closer, Somnis! That's not Lisa!"
"What are you talking about? She's right there..." Dogachu steps in between Somnis and Lisa, growling at Lisa.
Lisa's eyes flash as she stares at Somnis. "Stay away. Go away. Leave me. You'll be happier without me." The clock strikes midnight and the area is suddenly cloaked in shadows. It's as if they've been transported to another world. A dark purple and black, shifting background covers the area as Lisa stands there, staring blankly at the party. "Go away, Somnis. I'll make you go away."
The party's Soul Keys activate, changing them to their other world forms. Mattea looks around in confusion. "The Soul Keys activated in the real world...? Tab! Somnis! Get ready! We're going to have to fight Lisa!"
"What...? No! I won't do it!"
"Stop being stupid! She's going to kill us if we don't stand and fight!"
Lisa changes into her other world form as well, wearing her holographic armor, but the color is distorted. Instead of blue, the holograms are red and the metal pieces are black. "Go away, Somnis. This is what's best for you. I only want you to be happy." She holds out a single hand and drops what looks like a holo cube into the ground. As it lands, the holo cube spreads throughout the area and changes the ground into an ocean of holo cubes around Lisa. From within the holo sea, a gigantic island turtle comes up. It also appears to be holographic. The Holo Turtle opens its mouth and makes a loud roar, raising its feet up out of the holo sea as it disappears. "You were my only true friend. The one I truly love. But it hurts you when I'm around. So I'll just run away. And keep running. I'll do anything to protect you. Anything. Even kill your friends." Her eyes flash again and holographic cubes begin to float around all over the place in an upward motion to the sky.

Tab watches Lisa in surprise. "...Unprecedented power."
Dogachu quickly leaps in, using Shred to break Lisa's armor slightly. The hologram flickers slightly and looks cracked. Tab then drives up in his scooter and performs a Bender, hitting Lisa with the back of his scooter. Somnis holds her hands together before raising them both high in the air. A light surrounds Lisa, sapping away her strength. Mattea then swings her whip across the ground, knocking Lisa off her feet and stunning her.
Somnis steps forward and shouts to Lisa. "I know you're in there Lisa! You have to listen to me! You are NOT a bad person! You have to remember those times we spent together! You've done so much for me!"
"No, you must leave Somnis. You must leave me. Go away. I only cause you pain. I want you to be happy."
"You are what makes me happy! Don't you understand?" Dogachu barks at Somnis and she remembers the bracelet.
This must be it. I'll use the bracelet then.
Somnis takes out the silver heart bracelet and wears it on her arm, raising it in the air. "Lisa! You have to remember! Try to remember! That time when we had our date in the rain. I was so happy that day..."
As Somnis speaks, the floating holo cubes form together in the sky, creating a large screen that projects what looks like a memory. Somnis and Lisa are standing together under a gazebo in the rain. The two are holding each other and seem to be smiling, talking to each other happily.
Something resonates within Lisa. "...? No, go away, Somnis. This is what's best for you. Stay away from me. Stay away from the other world. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't be hurt. All I cause you is pain. Go away. Stay away. Leave me. You'll be happier without me." Lisa seems to be hesitating a bit. Her attack power has been further weakened!

"Tab...Get me closer to Lisa."
Tab nods. "...Get her back, Somnis."
Somnis hops onto Tab's scooter while the Holo Tortoise lets out another loud roar. As it opens its mouth, a large beam of energy fires from it. However, Dogachu leaps in front of Somnis and Tab, taking the hit instead. Mattea runs in by Dogachu's side and looks to Somnis. "Go on, we'll keep this thing busy! Save Lisa!"
Tab drives along, avoiding holo cubes getting launched toward him along with beams shot from the tortoise. As they approach Lisa, Somnis leaps off of the scooter and flies directly at Lisa. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The two fly right off the tortoise as Somnis crashes into her. Holding Lisa in her arms, Somnis looks at her face.
"...!?" Lisa seems to be shocked and so does whatever's controlling her.
"Lisa! You have to listen to me! You aren't a bad person! You make me happy! You've given me so much more than you realize!" The both of them almost seem to fall in slow motion. The holo screen in the sky seems to shift images, showing Somnis and Lisa standing together, facing off against a giant sludge dragon in a dark and foggy swamp. "Ever since that day in the other world, my life has been changed forever! That was the day I first really got to know you! You flew in from the sky to rescue me. And we stood together to fight that dragon! Since that day we've been going to the other world together, trying to solve this mystery!" The screen changes to show Lisa and Somnis in the other world, at what looks like a festival. Monsters are singing and dancing and Somnis can be seen dancing with Lisa and having a good time. It changes from there to show the two of them looking out over the sun rising as they talk to each other. "And I'm really glad that day came! This adventure with you is more than I ever could have asked for! You became my first real friend when I had nobody. You were always there for me and stayed by my side!" The screen continues to show various other memories of Somnis and Lisa. One where Lisa is escorting Somnis off of the mall grounds with an annoyed expression, one where Lisa and Somnis are playing what looks like a fighting game together, one where Lisa confesses her love to Somnis and the two hug each other, one where the two of them walk in the rain together under one umbrella, and finally, a memory where Lisa stands to protect Somnis from Morgan attacking her. "You've always protected me and helped me learn how to make friends. I wasn't very good at it before, but I owe everything to you, Lisa! If it weren't for that day I met you, I wouldn't have any of this. You gave me one of the most important gifts ever. Love. My entire life has become what it is today because of that love."
"...Som...nis...?" The red holo armor seems to shatter away from Lisa and the holo tortoise disappears slowly. Lisa's eyes return to normal and she's wearing her normal clothes again. "Somnis...I'm sorry. I've been pretty dumb, haven't I? We're a team that sticks together no matter what. You and me! How could I forget that? No matter what may happen, I'll always be there for you and you'll always be there for me. We'll work together through anything life throws at us."
"Lisa! You're back! Don't leave me this time, okay...?"
"Never again."
The true potential within has finally been released. Somnis and Lisa have forged an unbreakable bond that will never be forgotten.
Somnis and Lisa achieve relationship rank 10!
The two land together softly on their feet, surrounded in a light. Somnis looks around, confused for a moment. "What...? What is this?"
Lisa smiles. "This is what I felt that day we first met. The light inside you, Somnis. It's something special. I always knew it was. And it's something that I'll treasure forever. You have a spark of hope within you. That's what saved me from myself. Your light showed the way back."
The darkness surrounding the area fades away and the mall seems to be put back together as if there was never a fight. Perhaps you were within the other world this entire time...
Lisa has unlocked her hidden potential and gained access to her special summon, Holo Tortoise.

That night, while Somnis was asleep, the man from before returns to her dream.
"How interesting. You've already changed something drastically in this world. You're showing to be rather promising in your choice. Hm. That bracelet you have is quite special as well, isn't it? You should pay close attention to it the next time you are in the other world..." With that, the short dream fades.
Saturday, October 8th, Sunny
It's morning! There isn't any school today, so Somnis has plenty of time to do whatever she wants. Oh...she missed Buttons' special birthday celebration yesterday because of all that commotion. Hopefully he isn't mad. Somnis thinks on what she should do.

Somnis takes out her phone and dials Buttons' number. "Hey, Butts! I'm really sorry about yesterday. That girl punched me in the face and then Lisa and I had to fight in the other world. I hope you aren't mad."
"...No, I'm not. Even though you ditched me, yesterday wasn't that bad."
"Oh. I didn't know you have friends that aren't me. Yay~"
"Huh? I wouldn't say he's my friend. He just really likes birthdays. And that Jimmy guy."
"Who's Jimmy?"
"Uh...you know the kid that's scared of everything?"
"Nope."
"Well it's him. You'll know him when you see him. He usually causes disaster wherever he walks."
"Okay! So we should hang out today for your birthday! I got you a present, but I wasn't able to give it to you yesterday. So we can just have fun today!"
"...Oh. Okay. I don't really have plans, I guess. So that's fine. Where are we going?"

"Huh...? Oh, I guess so. I mean, you've already seen me without it. So I guess there's no point..." Buttons removes his hoodie, revealing the real Buttons within. It's always strange to see his face. It's also strange to see him wearing a white shirt underneath considering he's always wearing dark colors. Even in the other world.
"Here, drink some water. I'm sure we can find a tree for some shade somewhere."
"...You're being really weird. You know you don't have to take care of me, right? I was just saying it was kinda hot. But thanks, I guess." Buttons takes the water.
"I got you a gift!"
"Huh?" Somnis hands him a little gift wrapped box. He opens it slowly and finds the plush imp inside. "Oh."
"It's perfect for you! It's cute, but it doesn't break your whole tough guy facade thing."
"H-Huh!? It's not a facade..."
Somnis rolls her eyes. "Suuuurrrreee."
"...It's a good thing there isn't anyone else here. I wouldn't want them to see me like this. Not that anyone would recognize me."

"Huh? Oh, him. Probably not. He hasn't seen me without it on. Now that I think about it, the only people that probably have are you and my parents..."

"...No real reason. I just prefer to wear something that covers me well." He stares away from Somnis. "...I don't want people to look at me."
"Why do you pretend not to like cute things?"
"...You ask a lot of questions. I...can't let anyone know. I...It's...none of your business."
"Why do you hate people?"
"What? I don't hate people. Well not all of them. Jimmy is kind of annoying. So is Lisa. Uh, no offense. I just don't like some people. It's nothing weird. You must have people you hate too."
Hmm...I don't think so. I know Morgan punched me in the face, but I don't hate her for it. I am kind of sad though. We'd probably get along well.
"Nope. I don't have anyone I hate. But I do have more questions. Like why are you such a creep?"
"...I'm not answering that. That's just rude." Buttons glares at Somnis.
"Why are you secretly the murderer?"
"You might think I'm creepy, but I didn't kill anyone. You're really starting to piss me off, Somnis!"

"What!? Shut up! I don't want to talk anymore if you're going to be like this." Buttons takes his hoodie and storms off.

I think I made him mad. Something doesn't feel right though. I think he almost wanted me to ask some of those. Hmm...He must be hiding something.

Somnis heads home after her meeting with Buttons.

Somnis puts Dogachu's leash on and heads over to Lisa's house, knocking on the door. "Lisaaaaa! Can you help me walk Dogachu?"
She opens the door and walks out. "Yeah, let's go. To the park, right?"
"Yep! The usual place!" Somnis and Lisa head along on their way with Dogachu going along with them.
After walking around in the park for a while, Somnis and Lisa eventually stop and rest by a bench. Somnis picks up Dogachu and sits him in her lap while talking to Lisa. "You know, Dogachu is pretty weird. You remember when you summoned that giant tortoise? Well, it was Dogachu that helped in a way. He knew that something wasn't right with you and he lead me to you too."
"Huh...? He knew?"
"Yeah, I don't really know how to explain it, but it feels like Dogachu knows a lot of stuff. He knew what was going on with you somehow. Right, Dogachu?" Dogachu looks at Somnis and wags his tail. "Right."
"I dunno, Somnis. We might be going to the other world and all that crazy stuff, but I think having a dog with super powers is a little...over the top. Even for you."
"Yeah, but he drove a car too. I remember that. It was weird. I don't know how it happened either..."
"Are you sure it wasn't a dream?"
"No, it was definitely real..." Somnis looks at Dogachu, watching him for a bit.
A. "What do you know about the other world?"
B. "What do you know about what happened to Lisa?"
C. "Why can you drive a car?"
D. "Why are you the only animal that can use a Soul Key?"
E. "Are you really a dog...?"
F. "Who exactly are you...?"
G. "Good boy!"

"Good boy!" Somnis pets Dogachu and he licks her.
"Somnis, you shouldn't just praise him for sitting there. It will make training him harder."
"He's already as trained as he needs to be. Watch." Somnis stands up with Dogachu. "Alright, sit!" Dogachu sits. "Down!" Dogachu lays down. "Now drive mom's car!"
"Oh, come on, that's just ridiculous." Dogachu looks like he's about to run off to find the car, but stays with Somnis, following her around and wagging his tail.
"Alright, fine, maybe. I guess it is weird. And I haven't seen him do it more than once. But you have to admit there's something special about Dogachu."
Lisa smiles and picks up Dogachu. "Yes, he's very smart." Dogachu gives out an affirmative bark. "Alright, we should probably get this cutie home."
"Who? Me or the dog?"
Lisa rolls her eyes. "Both of you. Come on."
"Aww, okay." Somnis pouts and sadly follows Lisa with Dogachu mimicking her actions.
Somnis and Dogachu have reached relationship rank 3!
Somnis and Lisa return home with Dogachu and make sure to give him some water.

Somnis checks her phone quickly. No new messages. She takes a moment to consider what she should do. Lisa's still here.

"Alright, Lisa..." Somnis stands before dramatically posing. "We're going to cook!" She points to the kitchen.
"...Er...We are?"
"Yep. I thought it would be something nice to do for mom and we can do it together."
"Do you even know how to cook?"
"I'm sure it will turn out fine. I know how to cook in the other world!"
"It's a little bit different..."
"As long as we follow the recipe, I'm sure it will be fine!"
Dogachu barks at Somnis.
"Oh, do you want to help too? Hmm..."
"Somnis, I don't know if it's sanitary for a dog to cook. And uh...what are we even making?"

"We are making SOUP!"
"Oh. Is that all?"
"Yes." Dogachu paws at Somnis, but she shakes her head. "No, Lisa is right. It isn't sanitary for dogs to help make soup." She then pats him on the head.
"Er...I don't think it's sanitary for Dogachu to help make anything. But I guess that isn't really the point here. Alright, let's get to work on that soup then. What kind of soup are we making?"
"Wait, there's multiple kinds of soup!?"
"...Somnis, there's a whole bunch of different soups you can make." Lisa sighs. "Alright, let's try something simple. Chicken noodle soup?"
"Lisaaaaaaaaaaa, that's so basiiiiiiiiic. I want to make something cool. Let's make uh...oh, this one. It's what they have at fancy restaurants, right?"
"French onion soup?"
"Yeah! Let's do that one."
"Alright. I'll get the ingredients ready. You tell Dogachu not to eat anything since he only listens to you."
"Okay~"
Lisa walks around the kitchen, getting various things out from the fridge and cabinets. Once Somnis makes sure Dogachu is set, she heads back to the kitchen to help with the cooking. "Alright, first things first..."
The cooking continues along with Dogachu watching from the other room. "Hey, Lisa, wouldn't it be faster if we did this?"
"Wha-HEY! Somnis, wait!" There's a sound of an explosion in the background. "GAAAAAH!"
"Whoa, wait, why is it on fire!?"
"Wait, I can fix this..."
Dogachu tilts his head in confusion and lets out a small whine.
A while later, a ding is heard in the kitchen and Somnis shouts out excitedly. "It's done!"
"Hmm..." Lisa dishes out the soup into bowls and carries them over to the table. "Well it certainly looks normal."
"Ooh, it looks good! I'm so hungry..."
"Hey, wait. It's rude to eat without everyone here. You said this was for your mom, right? Let's wait and eat together."
"But Lisssaaaaaaa, I'm sooooo-" Before she can finish her sentence, the door opens. "Mom!" Somnis' mom walks into the house, looking fairly tired from work.
She looks up at the table and seems surprised. "Oh, what's this?"
"We made dinner, mom. You're always working really hard, so I wanted to do something nice for you."
She smiles and sits down with Somnis and Lisa. "Alright, that was unexpected. Let's get eating then!"
Somnis wastes no time in eating while Lisa takes her time, watching carefully. "...Wow, you really were hungry, weren't you?"
"Mmm! I like it!" Somnis continues to eat.
