"No, don't say that! You're doing your best...I love you, mom..."
The two are silent as they hold each other for a good amount of time. Finally, Somnis' mom lets go and looks at Somnis. "I love you too. Just please be safe..."
Somnis nods. "Don't worry, mom. I promise I won't be sneaking out at midnight."
Feeling exhausted from the day, the both of them then head to bed for some rest...

October 12th, Wednesday, Sunny
The next day comes just as the last. Time for school! You head off and have classes as usual. Once they're over, you have free time in the afternoon to do whatever you like. There's a musical rehearsal today.

Somnis heads off to rehearsal as usual, practicing her part. It's pretty easy with Avalon's help. She's a very good teacher. Somnis feels like she's learning a lot about acting and singing and stuff.

Things look like they're coming together now. In fact, she even noticed a few people came in and watched. Including this angry looking guy that she's pretty sure is Avalon's boyfriend.
Once practice is over, Somnis gathers her things up and prepares to head out. What should she do today...?

Somnis walks over to the mysterious angry person and introduces herself. "Hey! You must be Avalon's boyfriend, right? I hope this isn't a bad time. I've just seen you around at our practices a lot and thought I'd say hi."
This is probably a bad time. She notices he was holding and speaking to Avalon. Lyon seems surprised, and a little confused. And perhaps a little suspicious. "Yes, that's me... My name is Lionel. And you are?"
A. "I'm Somnis. Nice to meet you!"
B. "I'm Principal Bareru-Chan."
C. "I'm Avalon's mother."
D. "I'm Avalon's sister."
E. "I'm just some weirdo that's investigating murders."
F. "Yes, I am."
G. "I'm hungry."

"I'm Somnis. Nice to meet you!" She holds her hand out for a handshake.
Lyon reaches out and accepts the handshake. "Uh... Right. Nice to meet you too, Somnis."
A. "Sooooo..."
B. "Why do you always look so grumpy?"
C. "Can we be friends?"
D. "Is something wrong?"
E. *flirt*
F. "Well, nice meeting you. Bye."

Lyon hesitates for a moment, unsure how to respond, then shakes his head. "No, I suppose not. Just not used to people approaching me casually, like I'm normal. It caught me off guard." He glances over at Avalon.
A. "Oh, sorry. Was I interrupting something before I showed up?"
B. "What do you mean 'like you're normal'?"
C. "You must not talk to a lot of people..."
D. "That's...an odd way of putting it."
E. "So, you must be somewhat new here? I haven't seen you around much. Maybe we could get to know each other better."
F. "I guess it's hard to approach someone normally with a face like that."
G. "Ooookaaayyyy...that's sketchy."
H. "Alright, well, see ya."

"My family is very wealthy and influential back home," Lyon replies automatically, as if he had expected this question and rehearsed his response many times. "And here, I'm an exchange student from England- not something I expect is normal in a small town like this."
He seems guarded with his response, though Ava's presence next to him seems to relax him quite a bit.
A. "Oh, sorry. I didn't know. You must feel a little out of place here so far from home..."
B. "Whoa, England? Cool!"
C. "It's...kind of obvious you aren't from here with the accent and your attitude. I thought you meant something else."
D. "Sorry, your highness, I didn't realize we were in the presence of such great nobility. Geez..."
E. "You keep looking over at Avalon. What's up with that?"
F. "Oh, I'm sorry if I offended you. I was just trying to be nice."
G. "Do they have dogs in England...?"
H. "Try to relax a bit. I'm not your enemy. You don't have to be so...defensive."
I. "You know...I'm kinda hungry! Do you guys want to go get something to eat together?"
