"TO THE OTTER NEST!" Somnis points off in the distance and begins walking. Lisa shrugs and follows after her with Dogachu wagging his tail.
The party reaches what appears to be a beachside otter paradise. The otters in this place wander around, making sounds at each other. There are little slides they've made out of sand her to ride into the water and multiple berry trees. The dark blue otters don't seem to notice the party at the moment. They're too bust enjoying otter paradise.
A.) Try getting some berries
B.) Introduce yourself to the otters, formally, as Bareru-Chan
C.) Ask the otters where Kelly is
D.) "Are you a murderer...?"
E.) Hunt some otters
F.) Ask if they know the ferret mafia

"HELLO, OTTERS!" Somnis stands atop a nearby rock and gains the otters' attention. "YOU MAY CALL ME BARERU-CHAN. I HAVE COME HERE TO ASK YOU A SIMPLE QUESTION. WHERE IS KELLY?"
The otters look to Somnis and then to each other before shrugging. Lisa can be seen visibly facepalming behind Somnis. The otters then continue to go about their ottery business, playing and eating berries. Somnis sighs, realizing the otters do not, in fact, know where Kelly is. Probably on a boat somewhere, fighting the Warriors of Light or something.
Lisa taps Somnis on the shoulder and points out what appears to be a pirate ship in the distance. "Hey, do you see that too?"
"Hm? Yeah, it's a pirate ship. Wonder what it's doing here...?"
"It might belong to those people I saw before. I think it's coming this way." Dogachu tilts his head while sitting next to Somnis and stares at the boat curiously. His tail wags slightly as well.
A.) "This...seems familiar. I might know them."
B.) "Hide behind the rocks!"
C.) "Prepare for battle!"
D.) "Quick, pretend you're an otter!"
E.) "Let's steal their clothes and become friends."

"Quick, pretend you're an otter!" Somnis gets down on her knees and puts some otter fur she finds lying around all over herself.
"You can't be serious..."
"Just do it!" Somnis dresses Lisa in otter fur as well. Dogachu wags his tail and opens his mouth, making a surprisingly accurate otter sound.
The pirate ship approaches closer and eventually, the pirates walk out, off of the ship. The captain looks familiar to Somnis. In fact, she knows who that is. He looks exactly like that pirate she saw in her dream. But...where's his wife? "It be a nice day out today. Ay, me otters, have ye got any berries fer today's feast? It be the anti human holiday." The leader otter stands up and makes some noises at the captain before making motions to the other otters. They skitter off and come back carrying a basket of berries. "These be perfect." The pirate captain then prepares to walk off and notices both Somnis and Lisa. "Hm...? Who are ye? I don't believe I've seen ye two before."
Lisa glances over at Somnis. Somnis then glances at Dogachu. Dogachu then glances at Otterwott. Otterwott then has an idea. He runs up the captain's arm and speaks into his ear. "Ah, so ye be Otterwott's cousins? Why didn't ye say so? Ye both got special seats at the festival tonight."
Lisa appears to be internally panicking. She whispers to Somnis. "We can't be here during the night...! When it turns night here, it's day at home...!"
"What are ye whisperin' about over there?"
A.) "*bad otter impression*"
B.) "We were just really excited to attend!"
C.) "We were worried that there might not be enough food."
D.) "My friend is scared of...water. And sand."
E.) "Is it okay if I bring Dogachu with me?"
F.) "We're actually humans and really need to get home."
G.) "MY MOM IS GOING TO KILL ME!"

"MY MOM IS GOING TO KILL ME!" Somnis begins to panick, flailing about.
The very much not skeletal pirate captain lets out a hearty laugh. "Yer mom ain't gonna hurt ye. I'll tell her meself that ye were invited by none other than Cap'n Galleon himself!" Galleon strikes a pose and the waves crash up behind him.
Pirate King, Galleon
Galleon's navy blue captain's coat seems to get a few drops of water on it. The golden buttons aren't buttoned up, so his muscular chest is exposed. A navy blue captain's hat with a skull and crossbones sits on his head and he's got a surprisingly well kempt beard. An eye patch covers one of his eyes with a scar caused by some sort of slashing weapon. Somnis notes down mentally that the scar and eyepatch were not there in her vision. He wears simple, black pants with brown pirate boots and a red sash worn around his waist like a belt.
"Oh, you want to tell her in person...?" Somnis quickly comes up with an excuse so that Galleon won't have to see her mother. "Well, she probably would be okay with it now that I think about it. R-Right, Lisa?" She nudges Lisa.
"Y-Yeah! Your mom is really cool about this stuff. She won't freak out!" Dogachu barks afterwards and wags his tail.
"Ye be a cute one here." Galleon leans down and pets Dogachu. "I'll be expectin' to see ye there then."
A.) "Yep, see you there!"
B.) "Can you give us a ride to the festival in your ship?"
C.) "Um...I can't go because...I'm sick...?"
D.) "Sorry, but I can't! Dogs aren't allowed!"
E.) "Can Buttons come too?"
F.) *hit Lisa with a coconut* "MY FRIEND NEEDS MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY."

"Yep, see you there!" Galleon heads off over to his ship, waving to Somnis, Lisa, Dogachu, and Otterwott. Somnis waves back and then they sail off.
Once the ship is out of sight, Lisa starts to yell at Somnis. "ARE YOU CRAZY!? YOU CAN'T TAKE US TO A HUMAN HATERS CLUB! WE'LL DIE! WHAT IF THAT WAS THE BAD GUY!? AHHHHHH!" She grabs Somnis by the shoulders and begins to violently shake her.
"Before you permanently injured me, can I please explain something?"
"What?"
"You're hands are really soft."
"..."
"No, but really, this could be useful for us. We can investigate this world much better. And if they are bad guys, that's even better. We'll know all their inside tricks and secrets."
"Hmm...fine, but what do we do about going home?"
"I'll handle it myself." Somnis takes out her phone and texts her mom, telling her that she's staying at Laura's house to work on a big project and probably won't be home. She then takes Laura's phone and tells her mother that Laura is staying at Somnis' house to work on a project and that she shouldn't interrupt them because it's really really important. "Tadaaa!"
"You really think that's going to work?"
"It works every time."
"How many times have you done this?"
"I can have my secrets." Dogachu wags his tail and nudges one of the otters with his nose.
"Are we really going to this thing? You know we can't leave until the sun comes back up here, right?"

"Yep, we're going and that's that. This is a great idea."
"I don't like this plan at all, but...fine. I guess I trust you enough."
"Yay! We're going to a party, Dogachu!"
"We're gonna need better fake disguises..." Lisa looks over to Otterwott. "Hey, think you could get us some more otter fur? I can't believe we're pretending to be otter cousins..." Otterwott nods and runs off.
Later that night...

Wednesday September 21st, Sunny
The sun starts to set in the other world and the night sky replaces it. Somnis and Lisa head off together to the large festival on the beach. It seems all sorts of monsters that live here are showing up. They don't see Galleon around yet. He must not have shown up just yet. "Well, might as well enjoy the festival, right?" Somnis smiles and looks around excitedly. "I've never had a festival on a beach before!"
"Well, then it should be fun. As long as we don't get figured out and slaughtered."
"Lighten up a bit!"
"We're literally at an anti human festival. I think you need to pay better attention to your surroundings."
Somnis sticks her tongue out at Lisa. "Have some fun. I know I am." Somnis then turns to look at the festival and thinks to herself. "Now then...where to go first...?"

Well, I want to try out my fishing skills at some point. It looks like the pirates are having some sort of fishing rod rental service. And I want to make sure I've got time to spend with Lisa. Oh, what are those crabs doing? It looks fun!
Somnis runs off over to the dancing crabs. The three of them are small, pink crabs that look like they're made of coral. When Somnis approaches they look at her and happily click their claws to greet her. "Hey! Can I dance with you too?" The crabs nod and wave to the sirens nearby.
As they play the music, the crabs start to dance together in sync.
Hmm...I wonder if I should dance with them or challenge them to a dance battle...

Somnis dances along with the crabs very...well, poorly to say the least. She makes a general fool of herself for the most part. But she has fun doing it. The crabs enjoy that she's having fun, even if she's terrible. She continues to dance around for a while longer.

Somnis then finishes up with them before dramatically pointing a finger at them. "I challenge you to a dance battle!"
The music starts up from the Sirens and the crabs accept.

Somnis performs a disco move, swirling her arms around each other before pointing dramatically to the sky! The Coral Crabs are impressed. They have taken 5 dance damage. The Coral Crabs then perform a basic synchronized dance move, using spins and jumps. Somnis is impressed. She takes 5 dance damage.

Somnis begins to dramatically dance and pose like Mettaton. "OOH YEEEESSSSS!" She activates her summon! Otterwott comes running in with a hoard of otter behind him! The otters all begin to dance along with Somnis and the Coral Crabs are hit by a powerful 20 Dance Damage! The Coral Crabs attempt to retaliate, but are flustered. Their crab stack combo dance move fails and they only deal 5 Dance Damage to Somnis.

Somnis performs a kick and chop karate dance combo move, doing 10 Dance Damage to the Coral Crabs. The otters follow her lead and deal an additional 5 Dance Damage. The Coral Crabs stack on top of each other and perform a complex series of spinning and jumping dance moves while staying stacked. Somnis is hit by 15 Dance Damage!

Somnis goes in for a finisher move! She and the otters perform a synchronized dance of spinning, twirling, and rolling before posing together in the end. The Coral Crabs are hit with 10 Dance Damage! That's it! It's over! It's all over! Somnis is the winner! The Coral Crabs are knocked over and become dizzy from the battle. The otters all cheer for Somnis.

The crabs are so impressed with Somnis' dance that they hand over ten pieces of shiny, pink coral to her. She places the rare item away carefully in her inventory. Waving to her crab friends, Somnis leaves the otters and the crabs to their dance party.
Somnis then heads over to the pirate fishing rod rentals and rents a bone rod. She heads on out to the pier and prepares to cast her line, inspecting the different fish carefully. Which should she go for...?

...A while later, she manages to catch five Heartfish! She places them away in her inventory.

Once Somnis picks up everything, she heads back over to the festival. Lisa looks like she's a little uncomfortable.
I should help her relax a bit. It's a festival. We should all be having fun!
"Heyyyy! Liissaaaaaa!" Somnis runs toward Lisa, waving her arms around.
"Great, now everyone knows my name..." She grumbles to herself. She then speaks to Somnis in a whisper. "What is it Somnis? You can't be running around and telling our names to people. That's dangerous."
"What? No it isn't. These people here are all our friends."
"They want to kill us. The only reason they haven't is because we're pretending to be otter monsters."
"Then have fun being an otter monster!"
"I honestly don't understand how you can be so...air headed at times."
Somnis grabs Lisa's hand. "Here, come with me. I'll show you how to have fun." She then drags Lisa off to the games at the festival. "Okay, ready?"
"What are you doing? This is no time to play games. We're on a serious mission."
"This is the perfect time to play games! We're at a festival!" Somnis then turns to the game attendant. "Excuse me, Mr. Pirate, can my friend here play a round of this game?" The pirate nods and hands over three balls. It looks like the point is to use the three balls to knock over the bottles.
"...I don't want to play." Lisa crosses her arms.
"Aww, come on." Somnis pokes Lisa.
"Fine." Lisa grabs a ball and lazily tosses it, missing the bottles entirely.
"Noooo, actually play. It's fun. Like this!" Somnis grabs the second ball and throws it at the bottles, making them shake, but not fall. "Please?"
"..." Lisa looks uncomfortable again. "Stop acting like a child! This is serious. I'm going over there. Alone. Until this is all over." She walks off away from Somnis.
"...Aww." Somnis then holds the last ball while thinking to herself.
I didn't mean to make her mad. Maybe coming here was a mistake...
She tosses the ball with perfect aim and knocks all the bottles over, winning a little teddy bear.
I guess I should apologize...
She heads off away from the loud sounds of the festival, over to a large rock on the shore. Lisa is sitting here alone. The waves can be heard gently washing up on the shore. It's a little windy out here and kind of cold. Somnis slowly sneaks toward Lisa without her noticing. It looks like she's looking up at the sky.
"Hey, Lisa..." She doesn't look at Somnis when she speaks, but instead drops her gaze to the waves instead of the sky.
"..."
"I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have gotten us stuck here without asking you first. And then I took you to the festival. And you didn't like it. I haven't really been super nice I guess. I'm just not used to having friends, so..."
"...That's alright. I didn't mean to act that way. I'm not really used to people that much either. Sometimes I get frustrated and don't know what to do. So...I guess I'm sorry too. I know you were just trying to cheer me up. I shouldn't have been mean to you."
"Um...I got you something." Somnis holds out the teddy bear she won.
"...? This is for me? Thanks, I guess. I'm not really one for stuffed animals, but I guess I'll take it." Lisa puts it away safely. You can tell she seems to care about it, even though she's hiding it from you. "Hey, thanks, Somnis. You know, you're probably the closest friend I have. If it weren't for you, I might not have gotten this far in my research of this world. So I guess I owe you a lot." Somnis smiles and Lisa looks at her. She tries to keep a straight face, but a smile cracks through. "Stop smiling like an idiot." She pushes Somnis' face away and accidentally knocks her in the water.
"BWAAH!" As she lands with a splash, Lisa looks over the edge.
"Are you oka-AUGHBLRGH!" Somnis splashes up a wave of water at Lisa, soaking her face.
"Water fight!"
"Water fight? That sounds completely not serious and childish!" Lisa stares at Somnis with a serious face before it softens into a big grin. "I'm going to beat you!" She jumps in after Somnis and the two continue to splash water at each other.
Through their adventures, Somnis and Lisa continue to strengthen their bond...

After splashing each other in the water, Somnis and Lisa enjoy the festival together with Dogachu. Eventually, after some time, Galleon appears to the festival. It's time for the great feast! Everyone gathers together to eat a bunch of good food prepared by the different monsters that live in the area. Once they finish eating, Galleon gets all the little monsters together for story time around the fire. All the otters are there too. And I mean all of them. Otters love to listen to stories, you know?
"Alright, so..." Galleon is about to start before he looks over at Somnis and Lisa. "Ah, ye two! What are ye doin' over there. Come here and enjoy a nice story. Since ye came from so far away, how about ye choose a story for me to tell?"
"Yay! Storytime!" Somnis runs over to Galleon and sits next to him and Lisa calmly walks over to sit next to her. "Tell me about..."
A.) "Your wife!"

"Who's Buttons...?"
"Uh...nevermind. What about the humans? What's so bad about them?"
"Ye never heard about the humans?"
"No...?"
"Well, I hope ye're ready. It's a frightenin' tale."
"...About twenty years ago, the first humans showed up in this world. They seemed harmless, but that's the scary part. Ye can never trust those humans. They claimed to be here peacefully, only to study the world. But soon we saw their true colors. Over time, the humans slowly began to take up more an' more of our land. They began to take over our world. These scientists...they would capture innocent creatures and experiment on them. After about five years, they were all over the place. They nearly took over. Me wife an' I went to talk to them. But it was to no avail. The monsters we know today as humans would not listen to us. They killed our people and destroyed our land. Even me wife was lost to them. Nobody was safe. So, with only one thing left to do, twelve of us from the different parts of our world got together and became what we know today as Guardians. With the power of Water, Fire, Earth, Plants, Electricity, Wind, Light, Darkness, Machines, Poison, Willpower, and the Stars themselves, we managed to fight back the humans. They were sent to their own worlds and we watch over our own parts of the world today. The twelve guardians and myself. It was said that if humans ever arrived again in our world, it would mark the end of the world itself and everyone in it..." Galleon then lightens up his look.
"But there be no need to worry about that. As long as I'm around, ye'll be safe. No human will get past me!" He stands up. "Now then. The festival is nearin' its end, little kiddos. Ye don't want to miss the risin' of the sun, now do ye?" Galleon walks off on his own along the beach.
"Hmm. I wonder what he means by humans being here long ago...? You don't think it's connected to those people you saw here that one time do you, Lisa?"
"There's no way it isn't. I think we just found a huge lead on what's going on here."
"The sun's going to rise soon. That means we can go home. But...there might be some important stuff left here to figure out."
