The RIG is definitely leading you toward the tower. Only problem is that the line cuts right through that mud pit.

Don't know for the other one though.
Now, we need to get around this mud pit. As long as we see the tower, we're fine.

Brad wonders where the hell his bike is. If he had that, he might be able to jump the mud...
Either way, it there has to be some way across. Maybe Tardy is waiting around somewhere, his boat stolen again.
Brad begins to look for a boat or depressed looking fat man.

Isaac, Brad, Phlerb, Dana, Ella, Papa Bills
You all regroup and discuss your options. Deciding to work together, you decide upon different targets. Somehow, that doesn't seem to affect your decision in staying together. With that decided (sort of) you move on to the next question. How do you cross this mud pit?
Brad begins searching around in the dark near the mud pit, looking for a boat or a fat man. While he does so, Dana tosses Ella a Luminous Stone, telling her to pay her back later. She then goes up to the closest tree and smashes her hammer into it multiple times, causing loud, echoing smash noises to go throughout the forest. The tree eventually falls and slams into the ground, creating a makeshift bridge across the mud pit.
Isaac checks with his RIG and the tree bridge is indeed the fastest and most efficient way across this mud pit. The safest though? Maybe. Phlerb suddenly appears on top of the tree bridge and begins to cross along it, reaching the other side without the others. Well, you assume that's probably good enough. Your team manages to cross the mud pit one at a time, gracefully or otherwise.
Once you all reach the other side, you hear what sounds like a loud bird screech echo throughout the forest. That's not good. It sounds like Dana's smashing woke something big up. A powerful wind begins to blow as you all look up, seeing a gigantic bird with the same skull motif as the foxes flying in the sky. That thing is gigantic. It's nearly the size of the tower you're headed toward. It swoops down and snatches up what looks like a mammoth creature with its talons, promptly consuming it as it perches on top of a nearby tree. Or...cluster of trees.
If you aren't carefully, you might be the next thing it scoops up and eats! You'll have to find a way to continue through the forest and reach the tower unnoticed. These lights you all have probably aren't helping your concealment...

Isaac looks at the giant bird, then changes to the Contact Beam, just in case. He puts the flashlight of his weapon out. Isaac retracts his armor into the RIG (basically, only the health bar on his back remains) in hope that his vitals bar is not enough light to get the attention on him. He activates his RIG.
"Well... That digital line you see on the ground is the only orientation we're getting if we have to get rid of all light.
If anyone has anything to hide the lights on my back, that'll help us all."

Brad remembers killing much worse monsters, like Satan and Peter, but this isn't Olathe, and the rules of the game are different, so he quickly starts helping to snuff out any lights.
"We should... stay close to the ground and move slowly... will be less likely to notice us."

" Now, if I were Kaguya, would I really be waiting in that tower...?" Dana thinks to herself. She's staring at the bird with a look that says she's coming up with a bad idea. " I bet if I rode that bird I could get a better view of the area...!" Taking the crystal out of her hair would take time, so she scavenges a few big, thick leaves to add to her hair to cover it. While the others head for the tower, Dana starts creeping to get behind the bird. " Just gotta climb up behind it and grab one of the talons!" I'm 99% sure Dana's personality is not compatible with survival. |

Ella shrugs and places the light in the way. Ehh i faced worse then some stupud giant bird but ehh the others may not be in verse as adventuring.
Ella places the stones in her pocket and draws her blade having then ready and raring to go.

The group grows incredibly silent as they hide their lights and lay low. They then realize that Dana seems to be...gone?
The loud screech of the bird they saw draws everyone's eyes to the sight of Dana trying to ride it. Dyna Grim spreads its massive wings and flies up into the air, shaking Dana off in the process. At the same time, it seems to swoop back down toward its now falling prey, claws outstretched.
The others contemplate either helping her or cutting their losses and leaving her to die as they head to the tower.

Isaac will stasis the bird... Dana should fall to the ground before the bird grabs her again. Let's hope she survives the fall damage.
Now... Contact Beam will be the way to go here. Isaac will of course activate his armor again. He should be able to shoot the Contact Beam before the stasis effect goes away.
Isaac will try diving into a bush after shooting.

How high were they when she got thrown? Did she see anything useful like a body of water or a good-ish thicket to aim for?
