Having signed the contract, you step through the large gates as instructed by the hooded figure. As you walk within, you notice the fog begins to clear. No longer trapped in the mysterious fog, you see trees throughout the area. You seem to be in a forest of some kind.
The leaves are purple and the wood is dark. The entire forest gives off an ominous feel. Glowing, blue rocks can be seen jutting out of the ground here and there. It's night here. It'll be hard to see in the dark without a source of light. It feels almost as if you're being watched. Taking a closer look at your surroundings, you note a tall tower in the distance with a Japanese flair. Lanterns hang from it, making it clearly visible in the night sky. Not far from your current location you can hear the sounds of combat. Someone must be fighting nearby. Growls and the clanging of metal inform you beasts and sharp weapons are involved. The sounds appear to be in another direction from the tower, however.
You consider your next move, noticing others walking in behind you. Were they sent here with you...? You don't recall seeing them in the fog, but it was hard to see and it seems they came the same way you did. Before you have time to do anything, a list appears before you in a burst of flame. The voice of the hooded figure echoes in your head. "If you wish to proceed, collect one of the souls on this list. Only then will the path open. If you wish, you may collect both. I might have something special prepared for you in that case..."
You take a look at the list. It only has two names on it. Ryoma. Kaguya. From the instructions you were given, it seems you can choose which soul to take. Although who these people are, you have no idea. You do know that this is your only way forward however. With your goal understood and considered, you take the moment to address the others around you.
Quite the odd mix. Are these people meant to work with you? Maybe against you. Maybe they're sent to collect your soul. You don't know. Well, you could ask, I suppose. Though you may work better alone. Will you charge into the darkness in a random direction, take a moment to prepare yourself, or speak with the other mysterious travelers nearby?

"Okay... This is creepy, but I've seen worse. As long as they don't put me in an abandoned spaceship. Now... Ryoma? Kaguya? Doesn't sound like names that exists nowadays... Hum... I'll pick Ryoma."
Isaac picks Ryoma, then activates his RIG system to know the route to follow.

Isaac
Activating your RIG system, the interface blinks to life in front of your helmet. Locating. Target found. You look up at the tower in the distance, noticing a glowing, gold mark appear on the top floor. A dotted line moves forward from you and into the forest.
You decide to follow the line, heading into the dark woods. The further you go from your starting point the darker it gets. You notice that there are no longer any glowing stones in this area. You find yourself in complete darkness accompanied by nothing but the mechanical sounds of your RIG.
Dana
You charge off into the wilderness with reckless abandon! Dashing past the underbrush and trees, you notice it very quickly gets dark. With only the dim glowing of your spectral hammer, you have a difficult time seeing. Luckily, you're alone.
Or...maybe not. You bump into something fuzzy. Stepping back, you see glowing, red eyes staring into you. A deep growl emanates from the creature before you. The light from your hammer reveals a fox-like face covered in a white bone mask. You get the feeling this thing wants to kill you.
Ella
You stand around and consider your options. You then decide out loud that Kaguya is a good choice. You hear a faint rustle in the leaves above you. Perhaps it was just the wind or a bird. Perhaps...it was something else.

Oh there was certainly nothing auspicious about that. Guess I should just move forward because there is nothing out of the ordinary here.

Papa Bills wakes up, feeling around for his bottom bitch. That was just a dream where he got capped, right? Nobody has the nuts to step to the baddest man in the game! Unfortunately, the lack of luxurious, Egyptian silk sheets and the warmth of his bb revealed that things were not quite as he was hoping.
"Fuck is this?!" he asked rhetorically, glancing at his surroundings. "Aw, fuck no. Rhat contract shit was real? Fuck me...."
Sighing and checking his coat's pockets to make sure he had his shit, he happened to notice Ella. "Ey, girlie! Slow down, whatchuu doin?"

Brad quickly decides it would be a good idea to make a friend or two. People like Terry and birdie, despite their odd abilities, and been valuable allies and great friends. Hoping Buzzo won't magically appear somewhere to steal his arms, Bras quickly follows after the human in sci-fi armour.

Isaac and Brad
Brad runs off after Isaac, doing his best to keep up. Having allies in this place may not be a bad idea. Especially considering all this talk of stealing souls. Brad finds that it quickly gets dark in the forest, however, Isaac takes out his Plasma Cutter, aiming it around. A flashlight attached to the weapon reveals a small sight of the area. Something moves out of the corner of Isaac's eye. A slight rustling of the leaves. Then silence.
Isaac gets a look around the area. Directly in front of him is a mud pit. Seems like if he kept blindly walking, he'd get stuck in it. He'll need to find a way around it. Who knows how deep that thing goes. Drowning in mud would suck. There's also whatever it is Isaac saw moving. Was it even real? He wasn't imagining it, was he?
Dana
You spin around, quickly slamming your hammer into the fox. Wasting no time, you dart off in the opposite direction, back toward the luminescent rocks. You hear barks and growls behind you. Getting a glance back, the red eyes seem to have multiplied. Multiple monsters are chasing after you now.
Ella and Papa Bills
Papa Bills goes after the closest woman he lays eyes on and causes her to panic. Expecting an enemy to attack, Ella quickly turns around and shoots in his direction. Luckily for Bills, she misses and hits a nearby tree instead. Ella takes a moment to calm down, realizing her assailant is just a dirty pimp.
The two of them then hear loud barking coming from the darkness and see Dana running toward them, chased by at least five pairs of red eyes.

"Who's there. Answer or I'll assume you're a monster."
(If there's no answer, Isaac will shoot where he saw something move. Line Gun so there's high chance he'll hit it and if he misses, it'll cut any cover the target has)

"Monsters!" Dana screams to whoever's still there. She continues to run through the area, but makes a course correction more towards the tower. As much as possible without going straight towards the monsters.

Brad slows his breathing and listens carefully, using his ears rather than his eyes, he has to find something or someone...
Brad listens for the sound of a human voice or the sound of a monster in the bushes. He will move slowly and carefully through the darkness towards any source of light or human-like noise.
