Ella just sighs and curses that she is the type that she can't leave anyone behind.
See is there's a large tree or something close by where she can get a good shot on the bird.
Aim for right underneath its wings in order to startle it or at least lossen it's grip on Dana.

Brad grunts in frustration, realizing he can't just leave her to die... Brad rushes into the woods, hoping that he can find some way to break dana's fall...

How high were they when she got thrown? Did she see anything useful like a body of water or a good-ish thicket to aim for? Well it took off up in the air, so she'd probably die if she hit the ground. There's plenty of trees, or you assume, because you cannot actually see anything aside from the tower and the light from your no longer concealed allies. It's still dark.

So many options.
Dana remembers the whole "gravity" thing a bit late. "Oh, shit! Catch me, you avian asshole!" She'll use the tower as a reference and try to do that thing she's seen skydivers do to steer back towards all that mud.
