I watched literally one episode of Digimon and played one game and I have more questions because of it.
What's the ghost-looking Digimon called?
What's the Digimon game I played called? I played it on the Wii, but I'm almost certain it was for Gamecube. I'm also pretty sure it was a multiplayer beat-'em-up RPG. Kinda reminded me of Crystal Chronicles, really.

I played it on the Wii, but I'm almost certain it was for Gamecube. I'm also pretty sure it was a multiplayer beat-'em-up RPG. Kinda reminded me of Crystal Chronicles, really. Beat-em Up? Was it tirun based or did it involve attacking enemies with weapons without turns? If so then it was probably the Infamous Digimon World 4, an outlier of the series all around. The digivolution mechanics required tons of griniding and combat wasn't exactly as tight as an RPG. The ghost digimon...? If I see the interest is here, then I'll start delving more into the story structure and come up with some bigger ideas for it. For now I just wanted some feedback.

Both are conscious within the new entity(if it's a stable evolution). Similarly, digimon can 'kill' and absorb eachother data to gain strength, though it usually doesn't result in an evolution. Whether death is permanent of not depends on the canon I decide to use. |

One more thing. There are three ways in which humans can become digimon. If anyone really wanted, I would arrange for them to be able to use one of these methods.
That's about it. It seems like a few people are interested, so I think I'll start up on some ideas and get back to this.

Vitsheep is a bastard, I would have gladly taken Gabumon and been Matt. Everyone fucking hates Matt because he pounded Sora's fine ass despite everyone wanting Taichi to bone with Sora. Everyone as a kid identified with Tai, and as a result they felt cuckolded when Matt snaked her.

My favorite was Angemon. Or MagnaAngemon. Or just...any Angemon.
But when I started playing the games, my favorite was BlackWereGarurumon. Or Dorumon and his evolutions. Oh, and I liked Octomon. And anything with Monodramon. Justimon was cool too. Also Cyberdramon was awesome. I also liked Kuwagamon. And I had a Puppetmon. Oh, and Starmon was cool. Oh, and I liked Leomon a lot. Leomon was probably the best. Apollomon was cool too tho.

I can't pick a Digimon. You're going to have to decide mine somehow. Yeah, I plan on offering a choice between the Species uded in Dawn/Dusk then seeing what I can come up with for each player. For Reference, the Species are similar to Types in Pokemon games, but much less interconnected. They are: Holy/Dark Dragon/Beast Machine/InsectPlant Bird/Aquatic I'd only be using it to narrow down options though for each player. |

I don't mind some RPG mechanics,but I would also like it to be anime adventure storytelling like the shows.
If I could start with Goblimon, that seems like a good option.
