I don't mind some RPG mechanics,but I would also like it to be anime adventure storytelling like the shows. If I could start with Goblimon, that seems like a good option. Yeah, I think I'm going to attempt a mix of the two. And yeah, I'll take preferences into consideration. For digivolutions, I would want to have them Anime-like, but I wouldn't want to give someone one that they disliked, so I need to figure that out. Maybe lsit the options and let them pick each time it happens...? |

i mean, i dont mind using whatever mons, as long as its in the realm of the sort i like. just similar to the ones ive mentioned in a general sense

So, I definitely am going to make this Anime-Adventure style, HOWEVER, would y'all prefer a RPG, Stat Style system mixed in, or just pure RP style without much stat?
For example, a system of Digivolving and DeDigivolving based on stats, similar to games such as Cyber Sleuth, or closer to the anime style of Digivolving at story moments?

Y'know, I think it would be good for us to have some good old fashioned RP style.
The only thing is that we only get one Digimon and we can only digivolve it down one pathway. But you know...maybe that means we'll love our Digimon even more?

Of course, it I go more for RP style, I'll probably go with the digimon reverting to Rookie/In-Training then digivolving, like the anime. I could do plot with dark digivolving if anyone goes that route. |

I would prefer more RP style, personally. If it's just numbers throwing numbers at other numbers, I find it far less emotionally engaging.

So. For the digimon partners, would you gyys prefer if I treat them like NPCs, or have them be like secondary PCs(which you control), similar to Notebeasts in SS.
