Natsumi jabs Tai in the forehead. "She likes Sachi, but she likes you, too... doofus." She holds her finger on him a bit too long. "Hehe. Your forehead's squishy. Um, sorry." She quickly pulls it back and sits staring straight ahead. "Plus, I'm not sure if Sachi's interested in her the same way. It's not like she's going to hate you if you make a move on her or anything... People don't always know what they really want until it's right in front of them, y'know?" She pauses, then giggles again.

Tai sighs before yawning. "Yeah, whatever. Mattea always acts overtly flirty around guys, and even some girls. She might like to mess with me, but I'm admittedly easy to irritate if you hadn't noticed. Either way, it's hard to understand my own feelings about a lot of dumb shit right now."
Tai slocuhes a bit, though there isn't much room for his legs. He stretches his arms out instead. "Between You-Know-What and trying to keep a low profile compared to my previous schools, this emotions shit isn't easy. I may talk a big game about a lot of fuckery, Natty, but it's pretty damn obvious that I don't know what the hell I'm doing half the time, especially with relationships."

"Huh, yeah... Mattea flirts with me sometimes, too... Hehe. She told me she was really hoping you'd pick strip poker. And that she had a super-special treat for the loser. And she was gonna make sure I lost. And that she was gonna enjoy it almost as much as you would." Natsumi giggles. "Maybe I should try flirting back and see what happens."
Natsumi giggles some more, then abruptly yawns. She leans against you and closes her eyes. "I think you're doing fine, Tai..."

He'll pick up Natty as gently as he can, trying not to wake her. When it's her stop, he'll carry her off bridal style to the front door. From there he, uh...? Hands her off or goes to put her down or something. He's totally thought this through. It'll be fine. He's not tired at all.

You scoop Natsumi up at her stop and carry her the half-block to her house. You have some difficulty ringing the doorbell, but finally manage. And... then realize no one seems to be home.
When you look down from the door, you notice Natsumi awake - somewhat - and grinning at you. "See? You're trying..." She squirms out of your arms, reaches into her pocket, and pulls out a key. "So, um... Tonight was fun. Hm... Dad's not home, huh. That's probably for the best. He'd be... not... happy about the drinking. You can come in for a cup of tea if you want. I'm gonna drink a lot of that, then go to bed... I think. Yeah."

Tai will mind his manners, being sure to take off his shoes if he spots some in the door.

Natsumi giggles. "It was cute, but I have my own reputation to keep up, too. It can be our little secret."
When you head inside, Natsumi leaves her flip-flops on a small shelf by the door. You notice a bunch of other shoes there, too. Most look like they belong to Natsumi or her dad, but one pair of large, dusty high heels in the corner stick out.
The house is small and simple, but decorated with a lot of traditional Japanese art and knick-knacks.
"Make yourself at home. This won't take long." Natsumi disappears around a corner into the kitchen and you hear her rummaging around in the kitchen. The entrance hall seems to head to the kitchen, a pair of bedrooms, a living room, and a large bathroom.

Tai stands there awkwardly. He's quiet as he studies the room. He takes a seat for the tea, feeling out of place.
"Yeah... thanks for the tea, Natty. And for, uh, being cool."

It's a very simple kitchen. Small table with 2 seats, 2 spare seats in a corner, stove, refrigerator, a few cabinets and shelves, small pantry. About the only thing that stands out is one glass display case in the corner with a distinctly strange tea set. It looks extremely old, in a traditional Japanese style.
Natsumi notices Tai looking around, and glances over at the tea set. "Maybe you'd prefer if I served you properly? You are a guest, after all. But it's been... a while since I practiced. Maaaaybe I'd do it for you some other time, if you asked. I am... still a bit too tipsy tonight." She giggles as she sets down a glass of tea in a simple mug. "So... looks like Dad won't be back until morning... hmph. So, um... So. Do you want to... I dunno... do anything? You could stay over, if you want? It's pretty late, an- Oh! Um, on the couch, of course. I'm not trying to hit on your or anything, just... y'know, being... not that I wouldn't or... I mean, um... you know what I mean."

Tai smiles a tired, but warm smile. "Thanks, Natty. But I'm not gonna put any pressure on you like that. I'll be fine heading home, probably. It's whatever. Oh yeah, thanks for the tea, too."
Tai rubs the back of his head, not sure rxactly what to say. For him, being tired can be just as damning as being drunk, so he's careful not to let anything distasteful slip.
