"Steamy, hm?" Mattea asks. "I feel just fine."
The cards go out, and Nora and Mattea fold.
Alice thinks. "If I fold... you'll fold, too, won't you?" she asks Natsumi.
"Yep!" she announces cheerfully.
Alice clicks her tongue. "Fine. In." She reveals a trash hand.
Natsumi reveals two pairs, and so does Tai. Her Queens beat out Tai's high tens. She claps again. "Let's see... I could be spiteful... But Tai's winning pretty handily, and I'm tied in last again, so-o-o-o-o... I pick Tai!"

Tai folds, and the four others all grin at each other. Mattea sets her cards down. "Pair of nines."
"Te-e-e-ens!" Natsumi says.
"Pair of Jacks," Alice says. "Queen high."
Nora also reveals a pair of jacks, but with a high king beating out Alice's queen.
Mattea sighs and shrugs. "Oh, well. I tried. Who's it gonna be?"

Nora pauses for dramatic effect, though it's very clear she's already chosen. She grins at Alice. "Your turn again, Alice sweetheart."

Alice grins back at Nora. "Oh, but I have a feeling next time's going to be your turn." She sets her other shoe aside, leaving her down to stockings.
Mattea pokes Alice's foot with her own. "Not dropping out?" she asks.
Alice jumps like she was stabbed, then glares at Mattea. "Shut up and deal."
Mattea just smiles back and obliges.
Mattea, Natsumi, and Alice all switch three cards, and all three wear a small, disappointed frown. Natsumi thinks, then puts her cards aside. "Fo-o-o-old."
"Fold," Mattea says flatly.
Alice looks between the two of them, then her frown turns into a grin and she gives Nora an expectant stare. "Fold."

"Fold," Tai and Nora say together.
"Hmmmm, everyone is folding? Oh, well, no backsies," Mattea says. She tosses her hat into the air, leaving her down to her bikini.
Alice shrugs and takes off a sock before tucking that leg underneath herself.
"So, anyone going out?" Mattea asks, looking between Natsumi and Nora.
"Um... W-well... Yeah," Natsumi says. She puts her cards down, tosses her skirt aside, and slides back a bit. "Oh, well. Losing together's not so bad, right Mattea?"
"Pffft. I just have to get through one more hand to not lose," Mattea says. "Sure you want to back down?"
"Um..." Natsumi finishes her wine, looks around, turns red, then nods. "Y-yeah, I'm gonna go out."
"You know I'm coming after you if you stay in, right?" Alice asks.
"Looking forward to it. Everyone ready?" Mattea asks. "Anyone else?"

Nora shrugs. "I've had my fun. I think I'll bow out here while I still have my dress on. One of us ladies here needs to maintain some semblance of modesty, hm?"
She smirks at Alice, then sets her cards down and pushes her chair back a bit. "Rest of you play nice, now."

"Ah, yes. Modesty," Alice says, face slightly red. "I started with the dress so I wouldn't be held back by such trifles. Still... A bit disappointing for you to back out like that. I wanted to eliminate you personally..."
Nora smirks. "There are easier ways to see me naked, Alice dear."
Alice turns redder. "Ah? Oh, I... I see."
"Mmhm, cute," Mattea says. She starts dealing the cards, hesitating for a moment when she makes her swap. She draws, sighs with relief, and grins. "Stay!"
"Fold," Alice says.
Tai decides to stay as well. He reveals a pair of 7's.
Mattea flips two pairs, 9's and 4's. Mattea gives a smile of insincere sympathy. "Such a shame... Take it off. Ah, now... do I take another risk and try to take Alice out, or... no, I'm satisfied dropping out at 3rd. You two have fun."
Alice shrugs. "I don't particularly have a reason to keep going." She looks down at her single sock. "I guess the lack of symmetry's a bit annoying."
"It's only a tie if you go out now," Mattea reminds her.
"One more hand, then."

"Tied for second... Hm." Mattea rubs her chin, then smiles. "Not bad, but if it's just Alice left... I don't mind risking one more hand."
"You already dropped out," Alice points out.
"Wow, a chance to really get back at me, and you wuss out?" Mattea taunts.
Alice sighs. "You know what? Fine. If it'll shut you up, let's get it over with."
The two draw their cards. Alice frowns, but Mattea keeps a small smile as they swap out their cards.
"Tch... Pair of 6's," Alice says.
"FULL HOUSE!" Mattea announces, slamming her hand down. "Lose the sock, bitch!"
Natsumi covers her mouth and lets out a snort of laughter at the shout.
Alice glares at Mattea as she takes off her other stocking.
"Oh? What's with that look?" Mattea asks. "If you want to go another hand, I'm not backing down. Not when we're all tied up." She quietly deals herself another hand, then holds the deck out towards Alice.
Alice looks down, bites her lip, then crosses her arms. "Fine, I'll drop out. You win. Happy now?"
"Oh, very," Mattea says. She stretches, smiles, and looks around. "So, what do you guys want to do now?"

(Dammit I goofed again can't even tell you to yell at me this time I think you have been)
Floyd hops up some stairs onto the stoop of a fairly average family home and shifts his bags around to open the door. When they get inside Laura would notice the place is pretty empty there's a few boxes still scattered around the living room. Floyd doesn't seem to notice so it's probably nothing new he just excitedly skips off to the kitchen which is joined to the dining room with both a door and an open counter. Floyd is quick to drop his bags off and get to work grabbing utensils, pots, and bowls oddly he doesn't get a knife in fact a cursory glance around the kitchen reveals none despite being otherwise well stocked.

Nora casually stretches, and slips her stockings back on. She leaves her heels off, stands up, stretches some more, then lays back down on the couch. "I'm fine with whatever you all decide."
She thinks for a moment, then grins. "Hmm, would anyone care for a tarot card reading? It's something of a specialty of mine."

Mattea frowns at Nora. "Hm. I meant to add a rule about not getting things back until the end of the night... but I forgot to mention it. Whoops. Oh, well. Wouldn't be fair to hold you to a rule that wasn't said and you all didn't know about."
"Aw, don't tell me you'll feel lonely being the only one half-naked?" Alice teases, reaching for her dress.
"And after I went to all that trouble of making you such a nice dress..." Mattea says. "Maybe next time I won't be so nice."
"What makes you think there'll be a next time?" Alice demands.
"I won this game, didn't I?" Mattea smirks as she sinks into the armchair. She looks over at Natsumi, who's sitting awkwardly in the corner. "Aren't you going to get dressed?"
"Huh? But, I was the first to drop out. I don't understand why you're not dressing. You won and I lost, so shouldn't I be the one punished?" Natsumi asks.
"Oh, good point," Mattea says. She flops into the armchair with a smug grin. "Alright, as the winner, I sentence you to spend the rest of the evening in your underwear with me!"
Natsumi nods, then takes a seat on the couch's armrest by Nora. She finishes her third half-glass of wine and continues with her giggling. "I was a bit worried it would be awkward, but this has been fun." She sets her glass aside and closes her eyes. "I wanna know my fortune, too!" she announces loudly.
Mattea shakes her head. "Pass."
Alice, back in her dress but surprisingly leaving her stockings aside, lifts Nora's legs, takes a seat on the couch, and sets them back down to rest in her lap. "I'm curious, too."
Floyd
Laura follows Floyd in and takes a seat at the table to watch him. "So-o-o-o what kinda chili are you making? Vegetarian? Meat? Extra meat? Why are you entering the contest, anyway? What's with all the boxes? You still unpacking or something? I thought you've been here a few days."
