You look doing your best to not panic. Nora and Tia are chatting together. Uh, Mareena's shop is open, and the cafe is always there, and the bandage kid and Dean are talking in the book store...

Nora raises an eyebrow. "Sproink...? Is that the name of your pet?"
She takes the flyer and slips it into her purse with a shrug. "I suppose you could say I'm Mareena's new apprentice. I do a few readings for her regular clients here and there. I've seen you around a few times, but I don't believe we've spoken. I'm Nora. Pleasure to meet you."

"What do you guys want to drink? It's on me!"
Leia will point towards the cafe.

"You sure?" Jimmy asks. "Well... I have been wanting to try that new smoothie..."
"Oh, a smoothie!" Natsumi echoes. "That sounds good. C'mon, Leia!"
You head to the cafe and place your orders.
"So... That movie really was not great, huh?" Jimmy says. "Is it just me, or do a lot of modern movies in general kinda... suck compared to older movies?"
"Hm? I dunno," Natsumi says. "I guess... um... What do you mean?"
"Huh? Oh... I'm not really sure myself, it's just... how do I explain it? It's like they produce a lot more movies, but I dunno if that's really the best thing? Yeah, you can get more variety and whatnot and there's less concern about a movie flopping and stuff but is that... a good thing?"
"...Yes...?" Natsumi answers hesitantly.
"I don't think so," Jimmy says. "I mean.... In the old days, every shot was expensive and editing was a nightmare so you had to try really hard to get just the right shot the first time, y'know? And they'd occasionally do some real crazy stuff like that intro to that one movie about the media mogul. Even with animation, back when every frame had to be hand-drawn you had to really put in a lot of work. Plus there was more motivation to try to make sure your movie did well."
"Hmmm..." Natsumi sips on her drink.
Nora
"Haven't we...?" Tia asks. She tilts her head back and forth while staring at you. "Hm. If you say so. So you're working with Mareena, too? Neat! Do you have your uniform yet? Is it like mine? Can I see it?"

"You have really strong feelings about this, huh?" Natsumi says.
"Huh? Oh, uh... well, yeah..." He scratches the back of his head. "I mean, is that... weird? Everyone cares about something. Like you and the art thing, right?"
"I... guess?" Natsumi says.
"What about you, Leia?"

"Oh... I bet you'd look really cute! I like Mareena's outfit. It kinda reminds me of how Mom used to dress." She pauses and shrinks a bit. Her tongue briefly flicks out, and you notice it's forked on the end. "Um... before she got killed."

Nora will go about her original business of looking at kayaks. She'll talk to the staff about which one would be best for taking it into deeper water for a bit, and will then purchase a good kayak and life vests and other essentials. She'll call her aunt to come pick her up, and to transport it home.
