"We can't forget shoes! Well... unless you want to just go barefoot?" Somnis asks. "No one at school's going to stop you. No one's even really said anything about it so far."
"...The ground's cold..." Tia complains as she scans the racks. "Oh... These are..." She picks up a pair of sandals. "These are perfect!"
"Those aren't really going to help with the cold..." Somnis points out.
"As long as I'm not stepping on the ground, it'll be fine!" It's too late. Tia's already bonded with them. "Thanks for the help... um... Did you ever mention your name?"

"Newvit? No," Tia says. "That is... where you and Kiran go to school?" She looks at Somnis for confirmation.
Somnis nods. "Tia literally just moved in, and everything's kind of in flux for her right now... She didn't even have proper clothes until just now, after all."
Tia flaps the sleeves of her new shirt happily.
"Basically we're working things out right now," Somnis says. Her phone starts to ring. "Oh, whoop. Sorry, one sec... Hello? ...Huh? ...Really!? That's awesome! ...OK, yeah. I will."
Somnis steps away, leaving you with Tia again. "Hey, um... Thanks again." She sweeps her hair aside. "Y-y'know, actually... you do seem kinda familiar. I think you're just easy to talk to. Um... I'll see you around town sometimes, right?"

"You're weird," Laura says. In a 'this conversation is over' sort of way.

Laura snatches the soul key out of your hand. Effortlessly. Faster than you can blink. You couldn't do a damn thing to stop her if you wanted to...
"You dumbass! Don't go flashing stuff like this in public!" Laura scolds you. She throws your key skittering across the ground and underneath a nearby shelf. "I'll pick up my prescription in the morning!" she yells at the guy behind the counter. Then she storms off faster than you can walk.
Move to school.

While you talk to Tia and Somnis, Natsumi comes walking out of an ice cream store with a cone of... something. Tia gets excited when she sees it. "Oh, ice cream! Kiran got some for me when he took me to the beach."
"Oh, do you want it? Here." Natsumi gives it to Tia.
Her tongue flicks out and - HOLY CRAP. This girl's tongue is long. And thin. "Wow, wait. This tastes different? But still good. And s-still cold."
"Um... Sorry to cut in, Volunteer-person, but I need to speak with Tia. In private. Er, Somnis can come, too, I guess," Natsumi says.
The three of them all leave together. But you feel like you made an impression on this Tia-person. Er, Tia.
Levi and Tia reached relationship rank 2.
Move to school.
