Someone flops down beside Tai without announcing himself. "Hey, Karl," Katie and Fox say in unison.
"We're playing BS," Fox says. "It's real simple. You just..." He explains the game and you all start playing.
The game's got a lot of bluffing, which Karl's surprisingly good at. But he lacks the Guts to make big bluffs or the Knowledge to count cards properly. Tai does a bit better. But it seems like Fox and Katie may be working together to cheat somehow... But neither of you have the Understanding to prove it. Most rounds go to one of the two.

"Rock on, little dude. Avel. So, haven't seen you darkenin' this doorstep before. You here for the CD signing? Or just checking out the store?"

"I don't speak Japanese," Alice says. "Not really. I just noticed we had a Japanese foreign transfer student coming in, and thought it would be prudent to learn a few Japanese phrases. Just in case you didn't speak English well." She pauses to take a sip of coffee. "問題がないんですが。 I'm glad to see I was worried for nothing."

"Uh... W-well, I guess. If I wanna be the next head of the club, I better learn to train rookies. Yeah, that's fine." Zack puffs up a bit. "Alright, I'll take you under my wing."

Tai sighs, a look irritation on his face. He's not the most gracious loser, but he's able to work with his anger.
"Well", he says, his voice grating. "Guess you rugrats aren't all talk." His urge to curse them out and curse them is really high. Instead, he says,"How about next time I pick the game?" His face has a devilishly mischevious smirk on it.

He closes his eyes, inhaling, and after a moment exhales a deep breath. "Trust me, kid, if you play one my games, you'll lose." He says to Fox.
After a moment, he follows up,"So do you brats scam everyone who comes in hete or what? I'm not sure what exactly you did, but I doubt it'd fly at any decent Casino."

Katie stares at him with a smile, then hugs him and pecks him on the cheek. Fox blushes, but he's clearly happy.

"I don't want to interrupt," Alice says.
Katie shakes her head. "It's fine. We can play more later."
"But..." Fox says. Katie starts dragging him off. "Oh... Um... Bye, guys..."
Zack
"Oh... Uh. Hey, so... I gotta run. Do you wanna... like... Uh... Here." Zack awkwardly hands you a slip of paper with a phone number on it and runs off.
