You notice a small crowd gathered around the fountain.
There's a small, blonde girl with glasses poking around the music shop.
Sachi's sitting around the cafe. Looks like he's on break or something.
A punk-rock looking guy is at the mall's pet shelter adoption clinic thing. He's cuddling a pair of kittens...
Freya's browsing the pepper spray selection at a shady pawn shop.

Vince heads for the music shop, trying to avoid the large crowd. He doesn't wanna get stuck in whatever that it. Though, he does take a few glances to try and see what's going on.

"...May I help you?" the blonde girl asks. You notice she's wearing a nametag. Looks like she works here.

You spend the rest of the afternoon shopping, before finally ending up at the mall. "I told you I'd treat you to dinner, right? Guess it's more of a late lunch/early dinner. But I've got a shift at the cafe tonight, so in the end it has to be this way. Anywhere in particular you wanna eat? As much as I like the cafe, there's a whole food court, y'know."
Mattea notices the crowd by the fountain. "Huh. I don't remember anything about some kind of event going on today...?"

Tai shales his head. "Well, can we check it out after lunch? How about burgers from that place upstairs?" He suggests. Tai wasn't one to eat a ton or pig out, but he admittedly hadn't had a burger in awhile, since they weren't as cheap as say, sandwhiches or coffee.

"You can get a burger if you want. I'll have some teriyaki chicken from the place next to it, I think..."
The two of you order and sit down to eat. It's not a particularly good burger. But even an OK burger is still a burger.
"So. What do you do for fun when you're not hanging around with me or bareknuckle boxing?" she asks.

Tai thinks for a moment in between bites. Then he responds,"I read a lot. Exercise for baseball. Haven't done that lately since thr school doesn't have a team. Research."
He takes another bite. It's not great, kinda overpriced, but just good enough.
"What kicks do you get into when you're not working? Besides shopping."

"Hm" is all Tai says as he finishes his burger.
He cleans himself a bit, by wiping the grease and such off with a napkin, then looks back at Mattea.
"Cute guys, huh? Like that kid that owns the cafe, Sachi?" He gives her a devilish grin as he asks the question.
