The boy stares at the key for a moment. He doesn't seem to recognize it, but he shakes it a few times then sticks it in his pocket. None of the others even seem to have noticed him catching it...
Avalon and Lance are absorbed by their books, while Lisa is staring intently at her drone's video feed. Mareena keeps her last finger up for one last moment, then folds it down. And then Lisa screams. "Th-that's... H-hey, there's a bear! BEAR!" A second later her drone shoots out of the woods. A loud, running sound comes echoing from the forest behind it.
Lisa looks around in a panic. Avalon, on the other hand, is quick to react. "Hey, Linus, under the pier!" she yells towards the fisherman with the new key. "Lisa, just run for the street!" Before she's even finished speaking, she has Lance by the arm and is running towards the small, brick bathrooms. Lisa takes a few steps and stumbles, while the fisherman - Linus apparently? - seems too pre-occupied with taking in the situation.
Mareena hops up. "Ready, Floyd? We wait for the crowd to panic and clear out first."

"I'm guessing that's no ordinary bear.....our dear director sure took charge fast huh" Floyd comments stretching as he joins Marrena standing "I can't tell if you're attracted to danger or if danger just has good taste" He quips swinging his soul key on his finger

While you wait 'patiently' for people to finish fleeing the park in a panic, Linus runs over, grabs Lisa by the arm with his working one, and yeets her into the river. She lets out another shriek before splashing and disappearing, with Linus jumping in right after her. Avalon starts to drag Lance into the bathroom with her, then realizes what she's doing. She shoves him into the men's room, darts into the women's room, and slams the door behind her. Lance is still a bit stunned but quick to do the same.
Tai
You arrive at the park in time to see a large group of people all running out of it at once. And of course that gets you curious. You round the wall and see the park almost abandoned, except for Floyd and Mareena standing in a tree nearby. The bags, toys, and books left lying around are clear evidence people were here a moment ago... that and the crowd you just passed.
Tai and Floyd
A large thumping sound from the forest grows louder before the bushes and trees are thrust aside by a giant, lumbering beast. A bear that comes up to Tai's chest even on all fours comes stomping out. But instead of any usual fur color, it's covered in green fuzz. Vines and thorns wrap around the creature. When it stands up and looks around, you see that they all connect to a large, red rose on its chest. A rose that opens up, revealing another eye that starts looking around wildly.
Mareena takes another look around. "Yep, everyone's gone. Should be fine now." She holds up her Soul Key and transforms.

Tai will use his Soul Key, looking more than a little annoyed at his recent knack for walking into dramatic situations.

Floyd almost falls out of the tree at Tai's shouting but, manages to catch the branch with one hand and activate his Soul Key with the other "Oh hey, Tai we got people in the bathrooms and in the river. I'll pressure it from here you keep it from the river and we'll see if we can push it back into the woods OK?"

"Hello, Asmodeus!" Mareena calls down. She hops out of the tree and casually walks towards the weird bear-creature. The monster turns to face her and lets out a loud roar. You hear another roar echo from inside the forest, followed shortly by the sound of more creatures running towards you all. "Three against three, is it...? Seems fair, right?"

Floyd drops out of the tree "Hmm evenly matched huh in terms of numbers at least.... Ohh I know how to greet them" He says whistling to unleash the Rat Pack starting from the direction the roars came

Tai swings his tail and a bunch of floating, glowing mines appear in midair, drifting slowly towards the bears. One of the bears goes charging towards you as rats come crawling out of the ground, biting at all of the bears before swarming the leader. The one leading the charge stops. Vines go shooting from the creature, stabbing into the ground as it comes to a halt. The rats continue to gnaw at it.
The next bear doesn't even bother moving up. It stops at the edge of the forest, digging its paws into the ground and taking a stance before its roots also dig in. The last bear decides to fight in a manner that seems much more bear-like, running at Floyd and bashing him aside with a flick of its neck before roaring at him.
"No, no. Over here, little one." Mareena throws her Charkrams in a wide arc, white threads coiling around the bear as they travel and reeling them together.
Aron
You arrive at the park, expecting to find a nice, relaxed group of people hanging out. Instead, you find a small crowd of people fleeing in a blind panic. You hear the sound of roaring coming from behind the fence. Like a... bear or something?

"Bears? In this area? But they don't even carry bear spray at the shops. I didn't read about this in the travel guide..." Feeling underprepared, Aron scales the fence to scope out the situation and look for anyone who got themselves trapped in the chaos.

The ground around the first bear, being swarmed with rats, erupts with thorns. Rats launch into the air as the remainder of the swarm continues to gnaw on the bear. The bear entwined with Mareena slashes her with its claws. She goes flying back until the threads wrapped around them go taut, then she gets launched back at the bear.
Flames appear in the mouth of the last bear and begin to coalesce into a bright-red glowing ball of energy. "Oop," Mareena says. Her chakrams float over one another and the faint outline of an hourglass appears between them. The bear flickers for a moment, disappearing for a few seconds.
Floyd begins to glow purple as slime oozes onto him. Tai raises his guns and takes some shots at the entwined bear and the thorn bear. Neither seems particularly annoyed about the situation. The other bear reappears, seemingly a bit confused. The pair in the water keep peeking out. Lisa in particular seems to be staring more than taking cover.
Aron
You decide to take a peek over the fence to see what's going on. Bears, that would be a weird thing to see. Green-skinned bears charging flameballs in their mouths, even weirder. One tied to some lady in a dancer's outfit while an actual(?) demon shoots it with a gun and another purple-glowing guy swings a sword around. That's not what you expected. At all.
A hissing noise followed by a thud behind you nearly causes you to fall over. You glance back and see what looks like a jet-black robot standing behind you. "Hey. You should get out of here," it says in a synthesized voice. Without another word, it hurdles the fence and runs into the park.
Tai, Floyd
One of the black armors comes jumping over the fence and runs to join you. They grab a shield off their back, drawing a sword tucked from underneath it. "...So, uh. Hi. Plant-bears, huh?"
