"Well I'm glad you're not a complete dumbass then. What the hell do you need with an entire warehouse anyways? It's obviously not gonna be as family friendly an event as the art show or trivia contest."

Karl
You head out to the city.
That really generic-looking brown-haired sophomore is wandering around, apparently window shopping.
You just barely get a glimpse of Viola as she heads into the museum.
You spot those two blonde twins heading into a moderately nice restaurant with their father and briefly - and most sane people would briefly wonder what the occasion is, but Karl probably just assumes the poptarts did it or something.

You head into the museum and notice Viola stroll casually in without paying. The receptionist just waves at her. She gives a tiny nod in response. You see her head just a bit in, then duck through an employees only door.
What could it mean...? You desperately look around, yet see no artwork featuring ferrets. But there are a few pieces featuring their sworn allies, the angels...

You study the art of the angels intently. You suddenly realize no one really seems to completely agree on what an angel quite looks like. Some are big. Some are small. Most are just humans with wings. A few look like extradimensional terrors.
Perhaps only you know the truth.

"What? Nah. It'll be fine. Totally family friendly," Butts assures you. "The school won't let me host a proper demon summoning ritual or anything. Even if this place would be perfect. Stupid rules. Ugh, why am I even following those rules? Alice isn't in charge anymore. I bet the new prez'll let me get away with a lot more than... Anyway. You'll find out Sunday, same as everyone else."

Tai shrugs. "Mattea's cool, but I doubt she'd let you do anything dangerous. It would threaten her position and she's not negligent. And alright fine. You know that there's probably going to be some Otherworld bullshit this weekend too right?"

"No, there isn't," Buttons insists. "And you're not gonna stir anything up. I've got other shit to do this weekend. My life doesn't just revolve around that place. Speaking of, I should head home. Need to finish a book tonight. Let's get this place locked up."
Tai and Buttons reached relationship rank 2!

You stand and stare at a painting until the museum announces it's time for closing. You feel like... there was a reason you came in here, but... You just stare until the museum staff ask you to leave.
You feel a bit more cultured.
Gain a charm.

Nora
You arrive at Vitcorp early in the morning. Finding the building is rather simple. It's the largest in town, almost twice the size of the adjacent buildings. A skyscraper among the otherwise rather unimpressive buildings.
You're greeted at the door by a man with a wide smile and an immaculate uniform. His nametag identifies him as Mr. Johannes. "Good morning, Miss Owan. Your aunt called ahead to inform us of your arrival. Unfortunately, Ms. Ekantha is out on personal business and won't be able to greet you herself." Ekantha... Marin Ekantha. That would be the CEO. "If you'll speak with Ms. Dey, she'll send you to your first meeting." He swipes a keycard on his belt against a reader and the door clicks. He holds it open to allow you in.
Inside, you find a bright, opulent lobby with marble pillars, a fluffy rug, a bay of shining elevators, and a wide desk in the center. A dark-haired woman waiting at the desk smiles as you approach. "Hello, Miss Owan. If you'll give me just a moment..." She taps a button on her desk and speaks into an intercom. "Mr. Tsuki? Our guest has arrived."
Less than a minute later, a door at the side of the lobby swings open and a short, Japanese man steps out. "Ms. Owan? Good morning. I'm Tochiro Tsuki, head of security. I'll be giving you your ID badge, as well as a short seminar." He leads you down a much more modest hallway to a simple meeting room, then proceeds to go over Vitcorp standard policies and whatnot. Nothing surprising, all common sense, delivered in a no-nonsense and quick cadence. The head of legal will give you more specialized detail during your second seminar. At the end, he hands you a white wristband with your name on it. "Keep this on whenever you're in the building. It's an RFID badge that will open the doors you're supposed to open, and help keep you from getting lost."
As you head back to the lobby, Mr. Tsuki calls ahead through a radio. As you walk through the door back to the lobby, one of the elevators dings. A red-haired, slightly portly man steps out, looks around, and quickly settles on you. "Ms. Owan! Nice to meet you. Liam Tarea, head of legal. You'll be working under me." Tarea...? You wonder if that's a coincidence. He catches the elevator door as it closes. "Come on in, we'll head up and I'll give you a quick tour before... lunch."
He trails off, staring at the front door. "Ah, let's wait just a minute," Liam says.
You look over and see the doorman letting in a small procession of people. The lead is a shorter, brown-haired woman that walks in carrying a pair of crutches. Next is a guy in a polo shirt and slacks, wearing a pair of large, flashy sunglasses, walking in backwards. He's helping guide a girl around your age, olive-skinned and black-haired, dressed in sweat clothes and being pushed in a wheelchair. Casts are wrapped around one leg and an arm. She has a few bandages on her head and you get a glimpse of another around her torso. The middle-aged lady pushing the wheelchair looks similar to her, dark skin and dark hair in a ponytail, dressed in a grey dress skirt and jacket with black heels and sunglasses. You assume she's her mother.
Liam is quick to confirm that. "Ah, there's our wonderful CEO now. Ms. Marin Ekantha. Let's see. That on in front is Ms. Randal, one of Ms. Ekantha's assistants. Tom, you'll see him around sometimes. He doesn't work here, but he's one of Alice's friends. And that... would be Alice, Marin's daughter. Finally back from the hospital. She was in an unfortunate elevator accident a few weeks ago. Her recovery's been nothing short of miraculous."
As they move towards the elevators, Liam smiles warmly. You can hear the group discussing quietly. They all seem to be in a good mood. Alice in particular seems relived to be home. She glances your way and Liam waves. Alice's smile drops. She starts shaking her head and pushing back in her chair. "N-not... I'm not... Not getting in that elevator...! Don't... put me in that...!"
Everyone's smile fades as Alice continues to panic. Liam clears his throat and lets go of the elevator door, quickly mashing the button to the fortieth floor. "We should... We should go." He coughs awkwardly as you head up. "Right, ah... Yes. Ms. Ekantha's office is on the top floor. You'll need to transfer to a second elevator to get up above the fortieth floor. You shouldn't ever have a reason to go up there, unless you have a meeting with Ms. Ekantha. Other than that, it's where she and her daughter live, a few maintenance rooms, and some of the top-secret research labs for our newest toys."
Liam shows you around the fortieth floor, where you'll be working with legal. He shows you to a small desk where you'll be working, and goes over the basics of what you'll be doing. At the end, he leads you back to the elevator and escorts you back downstairs. No sign of the previous drama. "Well! It's nice to have you on board, Ms. Owan. You'll start next Sunday. Use this week to settle in, get used to your new school, make a few friends."

"Thank you, Mr. Tarea. I intend to do exactly that. It's been a pleasure to meet you and all the others here at Vitcorp. I'll be looking forward to getting started. Good day."
Nora gives a dazzling smile and walks back outside. What a lovely warm welcome... And what interesting drama. There's more going on in this town than meets the eye, I think.
She takes her phone out of her purse and sends a quick text to the Student Body President. "It's the new girl, Nora. Still on for lunch?"

Nora (Afternoon)
Your phone dings with a map to a nearby restaurant, about three blocks away. It's followed almost immediately by a message. "Of course. You're coming from Vitcorp, right? There's a darling little bistro nearby - be there in 15."
Dewey, Tai, Leia (Morning)
You head downtown to a warehouse tucked away on the edge of the industrial district. It's easy to find which one it is, with Mattea and Natsumi both hanging around outside helping to lead people in.
The warehouse itself is nearly completely empty, other than a few support beams. A set of rusty stairs leads up to what looks like a control room, as well as a few empty offices and some bathrooms. Several other students have gathered inside. Somnis is hanging around with Buttons near the stairs, quietly discussing things before they begin. Tia, Avalon, and Laura are hanging around, waiting. Avalon looks confused, and Tia looks nervous. Laura looks excited.
You spot movement in the control room, then the lights snap out. There's still enough sunlight streaming in through the windows that it's not hard to see...
Buttons lets out a deep laugh and steps forward dramatically. "Welcome... To the future site of the Occult Club's special Halloween event! Mwahahaha... Yes, over the next month... the Occult Club shall transform this dreary little space... into a haunted house! A-HA! AHAHAHAHA!!!"

Nora's at the restaurant in 10, sitting at a small table by a window with a glass of water. Her phone rests on the table in easy reach, next to an open menu, and she has her legs crossed and one hand idly playing with her hair. She looks out the window, a small amused smile on her face.

Tai looks shocked for a moment, but his face settles back into stoicism rather quickly. "That's... a lot more mundane than I expected from Butts. I guess it could turn out to be 'fun'..." He says this to no one in particular really.
