Pimpernal combat-rolls backwards and retaliates against the slime that hit him.

Dewey, Linus

Dewey fires a ball of light at the slime that attacked Linus. It forms into a spike-ball as he does. It shoots a spike back at Dewey, bouncing off his armor and leaving a small crack. Mareena runs up and slices the same slime, a spear stabbing into her leg. Another bounces into the back of her head as her key starts to buzz. Linus takes a shot that bounces off one slime and bursts it, then richochets into the one that just bounced off Mareena, then flies into the third slime as it leaps through the air. The last slime latches onto Dewey's head.

Leia

"Hm. I dunno. I haven't thought of it that much, I guess," Jimmy says. "I was just thinking of the job as a paycheck for a while. I kinda realized it was pretty important eventually, so. Y'know. There's that. Mercia herself doesn't show up very often. When I have seen her, she seems... I dunno. Tired, maybe?"

Item List:

1. Electric Bolas - Percy only. Necessary for the Shocking Save! skill. Reroll if an ally other than Percy rolls this item.
2. Smoke Ball - Allows self or target ally to become [Untargetable] for one turn.
3. Babylon candle (with match box) - Light the candle for single-use teleportation. Does not consume a turn when used.
4. Molotov Cocktail (with match box) - Inflicts fire element damage and [Burn] to one foe. Minor splash damage.
5. Bitter Medicine - A small vial of bitter medicine that can cure any status ailment for one ally, OR restore health if not afflicted by an ailment.
6. Adrenaline dart - Inflicts damage to self or target ally, but allows the target to take two actions for the next turn.
7. Gourmet Birdseed - A bag of birdseed. Sprinkle on a foe (or just throw the bag) to attract a flock of birds to peck at them, causing the foe to suffer 3-6 hits of weak damage at the end of the next three turns.
8. Ancient "Shield" - A round tablet from a lost civilization. Automatically becomes passively equipped when obtained. When the holder of the item is attacked, gives minor damage reduction as the artifact breaks. Then, the artifact's curse inflicts [Curse].
9. Crystal Ball - Automatically used when obtained. Witness a vision that shows what a foe intends to do next turn.
10. Weapon Upgrade - Enhances the power of the equipped weapon and armor until the end of combat.

(I’m guessing using an item takes my turn, but even if it doesn’t I’m not going to attack when I’m all but completely blinded)

Dewey throws a smokeball at Mareena. A slime about to leap at her gets confused and jumps at Linus instead, bouncing off his chest. Linus aims a laser at it and another treasure chest appears, dropping out of the air and thudding onto it. The slime recoils, launching the chest back up slightly as it's crushed.

Mareena looks at the chest Linus suggested, then Dewey. "Later!" she calls out. She fires a lightball that arcs through the air before slicing through the slime on Dewey's head. It drops off and rolls away a short distance.

Leia

"Well, trust your gut, I guess," Jimmy mutters. "So, uh, what not? Still planning to go to the Otherworld tonight for... whatever you were planning to show me?"

Nora

"Perhaps. Vitcorp may be a fast-growing corporation and Alice might be the future CEO," Marin says.

Alice pokes at some of the last bits of vegetables on her plate. "You're still going to be around for a long time," she mutters.

Marin smiles and pats her head as she continues. "Well, we aren't old money or minor lords or anything. Still, I don't think you care overly much about your parent's approval, do you?"

Running out of ideas, Pimpernal shoots the same slime he targetted earlier slightly to the side of their midsection.

"I daresay I need a bigger firearm."

Aim: Arm: They'll be disarmed, one way or the other. A musket bullet aimed at target's arms (or similar appendages) that lowers physical attack. Can force targets to drop carried weapons on hit (if applicable). [Ilya 2]

Marin laughs and sends you on your way. Alice fumes in the elevator, seemingly not even noticing she's in one until you're already back to her room. As the elevator dings she jumps out far faster than a person normally would, but still pretends to keep some of her composure. "N-now, where were we?"

Dewey, Linus

As the last of the slimes rolls away, Linus takes a shot at it. He pings it in the side, sending it rolling and spinning as it slices back towards the party. Mareena shakes her head, takes two steps, and punts it into the air as hard as she can. As if flies off, Dewey throws a ball of light at it. The slime bursts in mid-air, raining disgusting green drops over everywhere.

"If you need a bigger gun, The Great Mareena can help you find the items you need to make it!" Mareena says, scooping up some bits of slime from the ground, unperturbed by the rain. She shakes herself, sending more droplets flying everywhere.
