Soul Labyrinth

Leia eats the pop-tart, but is too distracted by everything going on to really concentrate on if it tastes good. She looks at Tai.

"Well... Hum... Haha... I think Alice said it right... But... Hum... But... I... Hum... I also think that that if you you you were going to bebebetray us, our behinds would have been whooped already..."

Karl, Dewey, Tai, Sam, Leia, Floyd, Nora

"We are not 'bitching like children.'  This is important.  This could be the difference between life and death!  Imagine if Sunday the others couldn't reach anyone for help," Alice says.

"Y-yeah..." Natsumi mutters.  "The Otherworld... is dangerous."

"Like Leia said, this needs to be someone not only competent and trustworthy, but also someone we're sure won't betray us."  Alice sighs.  "I believe the best options... would be myself, Tom, Mattea, Natsumi, Tai, Laura, Leia, or Kiran.  We all know the area, know most of the people here, have experience organizing groups, and/or have experience with the Otherworld and appreciate how dangerous it is."

"What about me?" Buttons demands.

"You made it clear you don't think this is necessary," Alice says, "so I assumed you weren't interested."

"If I have to go along with it I'm at least tossing my hat in the ring," he grumbles.

"Fine. Anyone else?"

"I mean I can handle the calling stuff, but I've only just learned about this Otherworld thing," Freya says.

"What about me?" Katie asks.

"Bluntly, you're far too cavalier about the Otherworld, even after the statue incident. I don't think you'd take it seriously enough."

"I would so!" Katie retorts.

"My, my..." the dancer says.

"Don't tell me you want in? You haven't even told us who you really are," Alice says.

"Why, I'm Turtledove, of course. But I could never do something like that. It's important that I remain neutral to your little spat and make sure it doesn't boil over into something... dangerous."

Sam remains very quiet and just pokes at the ground

Floyd runs his hand through his hair restlessly "Well whoever does this will be in even more danger then the rest of us because of it and their safety would also be linked to our ability to function so it shouldn't be anyone too obvious or worse someone they already know..... with that in mind I think Ki- Other is the best option for now"

Sam

Sam stands up and whispers to Floyd

"I vote for you because your the only person I haven't pissed off yet,". "Or nearly killed in a beach trip,". "Or turn into an evil person with a kiss,".

"Umm you can tell all those scary people I vote for you,". "I am going to go back to hiding my face from their prying eyes,".

Sam proceeds to then duck behind Floyd and poke the ground. Sam is doing her best to hide her face from everyone and her tears. Sam is really starting to feel really out of place.

Karl, Dewey, Tai, Sam, Leia, Floyd, Nora

Alice looks over at Karl, and with a rare display of anger, yells.  "Shut up!  You absolute bastard, how dare you - how dare you ask for such a responsibility when your running around SCREAMING about the Otherworld got both myself and Laura identified and attacked!"

"And you aren't even acting like you did anything wrong, you dick!" Laura adds.

Tia runs over and grabs them both by the shoulder before motioning for them to calm down.  A flurry of tapping on the glass all around you rings out as various monsters are now staring out at you through shop windows.  Tia starts to wander around the outskirts of the area, motioning at the monsters which slowly return to their dormant states.

Meanwhile, Kiran tilts his head back and forth a few times.  "Me?  Huh.  You really think so, Valkyrie?"

"Cav-al-ry," Somnis corrects him.  "And yeah, you could totally do this."

Natsumi pats Leia on the back.  "Yeah, Person-person!  You're not so good at dealing with people sometimes, but you're taking all of this really seriously!"

Alice, having calmed herself, finishes a deep breath.  "Yes.  As... Bunbun says.  You have done... quite a bit.  I would be fine with entrusting this to you.  I...  While I hate to admit it, Cavalry is correct.  They know who I am, and they may come back for me.  Which I am... acutely aware of.  But were I to take up this role then be eliminated in some way, it could cause quite a disruption, or even allow our enemies to misdirect us for some time."  She gestures to Mattea.  "On that note, I am going to suggest Mattea also withdraw herself from consideration due to her... comparatively high profile."

Mattea folds her arms with a scoff.  "Fine.  I'd rather be under Tai...smodeus, anyway."

"Yeah...  I'm not really feeling this either," Buttons says.  "So, uh.  Yeah.  Ki-Other's good for me."

After some debate, most people seem to be in favor of Kiran, but several voice their support for Leia and Tai, as well.

"Well, why not just have Person or Azzy act as backup in case Kiran's ever, y'know... busy or whatever?" Freya asks.

"That's not a bad idea," Raine says.  "So...  If anyone wants to head to the Otherworld or runs into a problem inside, they should reach out to Kiran and he'll make sure that we get people where they need to go!  And if he's not around, they should try Tai or Leia."  She smiles and nods, then frowns.  "Oh, dear, I forgot the code names.  Sorry..."

Alice looks around.  "Well.  It seems we're all on the same page about things that have happened recently, and we've all decided our main goals for now are to find other entrances to the Otherworld... while keeping an eye out for our robotic-shelled 'friends' or these Vagus creatures.  Clear?  Any last subjects before we convene for the evening?"

Sam

Sam shakes her head no and looks like she can't get out of their quick enough. The only reason Sam hasn't ran out of their is she doesn't want to get lost.
