"I feel really good!" Natsumi says. "So you can just stay behind me, Person. I'll protect you."
"I see one of those snake-things over there," Buttons says. He points off into the distance. "How about those?"

With no objections, you head over to where Buttons pointed. "I know I saw something slither past here, and it wasn't the Guardian..." he mutters. "There!"
You look to see a store with a pair of large snakes on either side of the counter. They turn to face you, rearing up to reveal human faces and torsoson their underbellies. A cloud of spiralling green bills forms between them, pulsing angrily.
"Sentient... money?" Buttons asks. "Man, that's just annoying."

Since Leia was asked to be careful, she'll try to stay in the center of the formation and use Smiling Shrine.
Smiling Shrine: Summons a giant grinning sentient shrine in front of an ally, which will block every attacks for that ally. Stays active until it got hit 3 times. Launches debris towards the attacker everytime it's attacked, which causes heavy dark damage. [Natsumi 7]

Tai takes aim and fires a pair of wind bullets at the cloud of money. They whiz through it at first, then the bills go ripping around as several shred from the wind. The bills respond by rattling for a bit before some loose change comes ringing out and flying back at Tai. He manages to avoid a few of them, but most go plinking painfully off his armor.
Leia takes a defensive position and hides behind her shrine.
One of the snakes slithers forward and bites into Natsumi. She shrugs it off and calls out her shadowy figure.
Buttons raises his shovel and runs forward. He swings at the other snake, but is slips under the attack, swiftly wrapping around his legs and then up to his chest. "GAH! That... hurts!" he yells. "Get off!"

Tai follows up with a Burst Barrage aimed at the one wrapping around Buttons.

Leia will use Meteor Kick on the one whom attacked Natsumi.
Meteor Kick: Is that a meteor falling on the party? Oh no! Kick it! Kick it! Deals heavy Earth damage to a single enemy. [Zack 5]

Tai takes aim and fires a wave of bullets at the snake around Buttons. "Whoa, watch it!" he yells, even though you manage to miss him.
The snake creature hisses at you, but continues to constrict Buttons. At least it seems too busy to do anything else.
A large rock comes flying down, and Leia kicks it towards the snake looming over Natsumi's shoulder. It thuds into its face, causing it to snap back and hiss.
"Hang on, Buttons, I- hrk!" Natsumi grunts as the snake gives up trying to bite her and just leaps over her shoulder, quickly coiling around her, as well. She tries to shuffle to the side to get away, but just succeeds in falling over. Her summon seems to be locked in place, as well.
The collection of bills starts swarming forward, engulfing Leia and her statue. Two chunks shoot off of it and slam large groups of the bills away, though she also feels a stabbing pain in her side.

Leia will use Spoopy Skeleton, while trying to shake away the enemies swarming her.
Spoopy Skeleton: A really spooky skeleton joins the battle and dances. Somehow, that has a chance of inflicting Fear on all enemies. [Buttons 3]
