You examine the watermelon. It's huge. You'd struggle just to pick it up.
Something about this watermelon makes you think it's not for you.
When you turn back, Katie's dropped to all fours. Fur starts sprouting all over her body. She rears up as she transforms into a slobbering, 8ft tall beast of a werewolf. She stands up, looks at you, and wags her tail.

You change Katie's Loyalty setting to Default.
You change Katie's status from Sleep Poison to Healthy.
When you finish, she stands there, still a hulking wolf-beast. She stares at you, drooling slightly. "I feel a lot better! Thanks, Mister!" Her tail wags.

Whistle. Make it sound like it's just an impressed whistle, but loud enough for Celica to hear if she's nearby.
"See, that's more along the line of what I'd expect. Now, I don't suppose you're gonna let me through, are you? First things first, for the sake of fairness can you give them a hand with that fire, Peri? It'll be awfully hard for us to 'persuade' the Governor to lighten up on taxes and fees if he's dead and his office is burned to the ground."
Peri shoots some Ice Rounds at a few of the bigger flames and gets behind me. If the guards open fire I'll start spinning the Rainbow Sword in front of me to deflect the shots back in their general direction trading precision for range of protective coverage.

"Hmph... Now listen, Katie. I'm the one that healed your poisoning, so you're still indebted to helping me. Now, I have no clue when you got poisoned, but I'd bet it has something to do when I left you alone with that incompetent boy... So we're returning to the mall to see what's really happening there." Even if Katie refuses to go with Awkward, he heads back through the Vitcity Mall portal anyways.

You start walking towards the portal.
Katie seems confused. "Oh! Thanks, Mister, but you didn't need to do that. I changed into this form so I could heal myself. I'm really resistant to poison like this!" She stops prattling, perks up her ears, and cocks her head. "Rrff? Do you hear that?"
You hear the sound of gunshots in the distance, followed by sirens.
Fuzz
When Peri aims and shoots some of the fires, they immediately open fire. You start deflecting bullets. Ryuusei raises his hand and a shimmering barrier appears in front of him, but he drops it and moves behind you. "Neat trick."
The bullets you deflect aren't finding any marks. You can hear sirens and cars coming from the distance.
And then an explosion sends several of the guards flying. A woman in full-body, white-and-pink complete with a helmet is standing to your side holding another grenade.

You head outside. You see, from closest to furthest:
A mustachioed man in an old-timey detective suit aiming a magnum at a woman's back.
A woman, his target, in pink-and-white body armor. She's holding up a grenade.
A bird-lady with guns, a fedora'd guy with a rainbow sword, and a totally normal teenage boy.
A large mansion that's on fire, partially exploded, and crawling with goons with guns, firing at the trio.
