"Mom got hurt by some debris and I need to go check on her. She says she's fine, but I know her." Alice frowns. "Her saying she's 'fine' could be anywhere from a scratch to a missing limb. She could be on her deathbed and she'd insist on coming in to work."

Leia seems completely confused and just walks past the door, picking up her drawing of Natsumi.
She seems ready to leave.

Tai finishes changing quickly, grabs what little stuff he had, and waits in the hallway for the others.

A bus rolls up to the lodge, and a large group of guests board. A few others stay behind for some reason or another.
The ride back is very quiet. Natsumi mostly hums to herself and snacks on a banana she grabbed from the lodge's cafeteria, while Alice stares silently out the window. The bus has to go off the road to get around a few things along the outskirts of town, but the city streets aren't so bad. They deliver you to the city center without incident, still early in the morning.
Move to Vitcity.

You head to the amusement part on the edge of town and find that tickets are a steep discount today. You soon find out why - half the park is closed for repairs after the damage. After a brief look through a list of what is and isn't open, Raine seems satisfied. "The petting zoo is still open... and the haunted house, and the roller coaster! And that one that spins really fast. That all sounds fun, right?"

Ivan claps both his hands. His muscles ripple. "Can we go to the petting zoo first?" He nearly squeaks in Russian first, then realizes his mistake and says it again in english in a normal voice.

Floyd nods enthusiastically "The Petting Zoo is great place to start we'll up the intensity gradually we'll do the haunted house afterwards then the spinny thing and end with the Coaster!" he suggests

You all spend some time wandering around the fair and enjoying the rides. As Floyd suggests, you all start with the smaller rides and work your way up. Raine seems to enjoy the petting zoo. She staggers a lot coming off the spinning ride, holding onto a railing to keep her feet. "I... never again."
She screams a lot during the haunted house, but is grinning widely when she comes out. "Oh, that was such fun! The roller coaster was next, right? Let's go!"

You arrive at the amusement park and spend a few minutes waiting before you notice Mattea walking up, dressed in a dark skirt, cream blouse, strappy sandals, and a jacket wrapped around her waist instead of her usual dress and heels. She marches up, places a hand under your chin, and gives you a kiss on the cheek before anything else. "Hey, Cutie. Been waiting long?"
