You head to the plains on the edge of the city. It's so windy here, even this late at night... You actually struggle to keep your feet at times.
As you survey the area, you see these plains stretch all the way to the mountains in the distance... nothing but flat land. No buildings, no plants, nothing except for a single road.
You camp out until midnight, sticking near the bus station. Sure enough, right at midnight, a pale grey portal snaps open right beside you, nearly right on top of you. It almost feels like the wind is trying to suck you in...

You step out of the portal. You cover your eyes as you're blinded by a bright light. The light dims after a few seconds and you find a bright red sportscar staring directly at the portal. Mattea sticks her head out of the window. "Hey, are you dumbasses all still alive?"
"Yep," Natsumi answers.
"Uh... Why are you here?" Buttons asks. "First Natsumi, now you."
"I mean Natty's nice, so I understand her coming to help. But you?" Kiran asks.
"Ah, shuddup," Mattea answers. "I figured you morons would probably need a ride home."

So there's trees that can make us look into a wasteland with more tree in the distance and everything is monochrome and frozen in time and Mr. Butterlfy want something back, which I assume is the colors themselves, which were probably stolent by those crab syringes hulky guys, but Mr. Butterfly is also a bad guy who wants to poison us with spores, but there's a cat fighting against the crab guys, but we don't know if that cat is a bad guy like Mr. Butterfly and something stole Natsu-girl's superpowers and... and... and..."
Leia enters the car, while continuing to monologue.

Mattea stares at Tai, then rolls her eyes hard enough to make her head tilt. "Hey, Princess, nice to see you. Hey, Princess, nice car. Hey, Princess, thanks for jacking your dad's ride and driving out to the middle of fuckin' nowhere at two in the morning just to make sure my stupid ass wasn't dead..." she mutters under her breath. "See if I do anything else for-"
"Thanks, Mattea," Kiran says. "Reward, reward... Ah, here. Hug this." He casually grabs Tai by the collar and shoves him towards Mattea.
She instinctively reaches out of the window to catch him before he falls. "Uh, what the Hell?"
Without missing a beat, and while Leia summarizes everything that happened, Kiran casually scoops up Natsumi and carries her off to the bus stop. He plops down with her in his lap and wraps his arms around her. "Hey, Nat. I really appreciate you coming to help us, too. Aren't you worried your dad will be mad?"
Natsumi seems fine with this turn of events. "Um, yeah... It was worth it, but I really hope he doesn't find out."
Buttons looks confused. "Aren't we getting in the car to leave?"
"Yeah, in a bit," Kiran says. "While we're still here, I kinda wanted to clear a few things up."
"Oh." Buttons goes and takes a seat with the pair. "Like... what?"
Kiran shrugs. "That cat Leia mentioned, for one."
"Oh! Was it blue?" Natsumi asks.
Kiran and Buttons nod.
"That was one of my shikigami. I sent them all to look for you guys. Um, there's the cat, and one with only one leg, and a little spirit guy, and a shadowy lady. That, um, might be why my key suddenly overloaded like that, having them all out at once. If they get hurt, it kinda hurts me, too. Though that was still really weird. It felt like... like I was being drained or something?"
"Huh... Weird. 'Drained?' What could have done something like that?" Buttons asks.
Suddenly the portal shudders. One of the crab monsters pokes its monstrous head out, covered in eyes and jaws and fangs at odd, nonsensical angles. It takes a few hesitant steps forward, and into your world. It seems to be looking around, taking it all in.
"OH SHIT!" Buttons yells.
"Oh, shit!" Kiran yells, a bit less panicked. He leaps up, accidentally tossing Natsumi onto the ground.
"What is- ow!" Natsumi screams.
"What the fuck is that!?" Mattea shrieks, grabbing onto Tai hard enough to hurt.

"Jesus Christ, it's a crab! Get in the car!" Kiran yells. "We need to run!"
Buttons goes for the car, Natsumi hesitates.
Mattea looks over at Kiran, suggesting running. Leia, who wants her to run it over. And Tai, who doesn't even seem to have a plan. You can see the gears grinding in her head.
"Uh, God... fuckin'... Hey! Hey, you shitty fuckin'... thing!" Mattea pops the trunk as she opens the door and steps out. She runs over to the trunk while the crab scuttles towards Tai. The crab stabs at Tai, who proceeds to duck and run away.
Mattea rummages around for a moment, then comes back from around the car. "Heads up." Tai turns around in time to snag a baseball bat out of the air as Mattea tosses it. She walks around the car and joins him, tapping a tire iron on her shoulder. "At least one of you guys has some fuckin' balls."

Tai smiles like a madman.
"Batter mother fucking up!"
He runs around and slides towards the crab's other side and tries to land a good hit. He also is careufl to keep moving.
