Notice the guy putting the orb in the fountain without any response from it and send Peri to go talk to them.
"Wait, why me?"
"Because I'm still following this guy and none of my sphere summons can talk. As for why I didn't ask Celica... I don't know, I guess I just decided to ask you instead. Look, he's got a sphere, can you just go ask him about it? Here, if you think he seems like a trustworthy person you can give him one of these."
Give Peri one of the communication mini-screens.
"Oh, very well."
Peri walks over to Hezaki.
"Pardon, but an acquaintance of mine noticed the object you placed within the fountain and wanted me to inquire about it. He wasn't particularly clear what to ask, but at the very least I suppose he might be interested in hearing what you know of that peculiar orb?"

Hezaki looks up to Peri having bent down to retrieve the orb "Oh this I don't know much at all frankly a pity really it seems to have great magical power this realm is quite vexing indeed anyhow while I'm not sure he knows much of anything you'll have better luck asking the actual owner of the orb" with that Hezaki turns and tosses the orb at Dantalion who simply raises his hand and the orb shlurps back within him "A ferry you say you know I've never had the pleasure of setting sail well on water that is sounds like a great time best try my hand at this whole fountain thing first though" Dandy bamfs out his trusty Quill and quickly marks the quest with his house crest it's supposed to be terrifying but, Dandy's copy is... juvenile and it's hard to tell if that's on purpose or not. As Dantailian makes his way over to the fountain Hezaki excuses himself "Good Luck" he says simply and goes off to join Alice if Dandy noticed he doesn't let it show making quite a show of placing the orb in the fountain.

Peri is somewhat confused on why Hezaki wished her good luck, but nevertheless decided to introduce herself to the demon in front of her with a polite curtsy.
"Geeetings. I am Lady Peri of House Gren. And you are?"

Dandy is immediately distracted by the declaration of titles with a twinkle in his eyes he intently turns to Peri "Finally someone around here who understands the order of thing who am I you ask why only (Ulterior) Grand Duke Dantalion de House Dantalian 71st of the Goetian High Council!" he declares loudly before giving a somehow intimidating wink "At your service Lady Peri"

Hezaki
Hezaki walks over to Alice while she's talking with some of the laguz guards. She's asking about where they came from before everyone appeared in this world. Hezaki doesn't recognize any of the names, and Alice doesn't seem to, either.
"I run a small village that acts as a sanctuary for laguz," she mentions.
The guards glance at each other. "We have an entire country," they explain, motioning to the temple. "In the other world."
Dantalion
You stick the orb in the slot and it starts to flash. It comes out a bit larger than it was before. Neat. And suddenly a pair of tiny wings pop out of your back before quickly retracting. You think you could use them to fly, very slowly. Neat...? And when you stand up, the red-haired woman in the black dress is holding a gun in your face.
Gained Hovering, Editing Range +1, Item Slots +1
Fuzz
When Dandy sticks his orb in the slot, Celica dashes over, wraps an arm around Peri, and pulls her back protectively. She whips out her pistol and points it at Dantalion. "He's a Demon Lord. That makes him a serious threat. We should fall back and engage when we have an advantage."

Dantalion let's out a chuckle "Do you always wave a gun in people's face as you flatter them madam I'm no Demon Lord you might be able to call grandpapa that just don't let any of the actual demon lords hear you say that but, me I'm just third in line for a seat I don't much care for which happens tot be the only reason I'm still alive so it's quite all right with me so no need for the pistol hmm me and your friend here were just beginning to engage in conversation"
Hezaki shakes his head "This is all very strange I've not known nations to be established so quickly no wonder the elementals are so disturbed the world itself is not whole" he muses

Walk over after noticing Celica's rather extreme reaction to Dantalion.
"Whoa there, easy on the whole threatening people in broad daylight thing Celica. Peri, mind filing us in on who this is?"
"This is Grand Duke Dantalion of House Dantalion, 71st of the Goetian High Council."
"I don't know about the rest of that, but the name Dantalion is familiar. At ease Celica, either he's a friend of mine or at least has something to do with one. Does the name Mr. Fuzz mean anything to you?"

You walk in to find an interesting scene. Chalklate is standing by the quest board. A red-haired woman is standing between a bird-girl and a demon-thing, a gun pointed at the latter. And a human-looking guy and a elf-like guy are watching the scene.
Chalklate
While you stand there, the quest rewards materialize from nowhere.
Gained 200R and Dark Blue Shard.
Dandy, Fuzz
"Oh, he's still a child. That makes him much easier to kill," Celica says. Then she lowers her gun, but doesn't put it away. "But I do not kill children without a good reason."

Across the square Hezaki let's out a laugh how'd he hear that who cares his laugh is actually kind of adorable it's weird anyways back at the main characters.
Dandy completely ignores Celica's words focusing instead on correcting Peri "No no that's house Dantalian now now do I know you" then he faces Fuzz looking him over repeatedly "Hmmm Fuzz fuuuzzz the name does ring a bell oh yes yes you were the puppet master behind that one women it's nice to finally meet you in the flesh I must say one of your companions is much more well-mannered then the other must stay focused on fixing this world no time for petty murder this is more fun anyway"

Peri raises a single downy eyebrow. "Puppet master?"
"Trust me, it's a lot less ominous than it sounds. Anyways, you still got that mini-screen?"
"Yes, allow me."
Peri hands Dandy the mini-screen while I explain what it is.
"One of the powers I have in this world is to create these screens. As far as I can tell I'm the only one who can use the full size ones to help with editing or viewing attributes, but these smaller ones can be used to communicate with me or the other Sphere Holders I gave them to."

I glance at the money. Only 1000 to go, I think to myself.
The blue shard is interesting, I try to absorb it to see if it gives me any further powers.
Tilaran calls out, and I greet her, sharing details of the forest. A battle for another day, perhaps.
"Let's get another quest on, this mole removal one sounds nice and easy... most likely deceptively so."
Tilaran glances toward the cluster of people talking about such things as child murder, politics, and tiny screens. "Maybe we should check that out?"

You notice Celica goes from completely neutral to glaring at you furiously after that manners comment. But she stays silent as your conversation continues.
Leone comes back to Dandy's side with a few sparkling gems. "Here's your portion of the reward from earlier," she says. She hands him 50 rupees, then turns to Fuzz and his group. "Hello, sir. Madams. My name is Leone."
Celica glances at her with a polite smile. "How-dy. I am Celica."
Chalklate
You try to absorb the shard. You can tell it's definitely from your damaged orb, but it doesn't react to you at all. Trying to stick it on doesn't do anything, either. It just falls off. You feel like you're missing something.
Unfortunately, it looks like people have already taken all the quests currently available.

I yell out at the top of my lungs: "EXCUSE ME? DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY EVIL THEY NEED VANQUISHING, PEOPLE THEY NEED RESCUING, OR MUNDANE JOB THAT THEY WILL PAY ME FOR? I AM WELL-VERSED IN THE ARTS OF TELEKINESIS AND TELEPORTATION, AND CAN USE ANY ITEM AS WELL AS ANY HAVE BEFORE."

Dandy nods in acknowledgment of his new UI element "So your super power is Discord Fuzz? Thanks" with a whole new item range Dantalion withdraws the Corinthian Bronze Sword luckily he just got handed a stack of gems so slots in a rupee and shlorps it back into the orb "That's interesting ok so Fuzz do you have a boat by chance? We got a resort to get to and apparently it's across the sea"
