With a nod, the witch moves a bit apart from you and starts asking around.
There's plenty of people you can talk to. Random passerby, the guards at the temple, other guards, people in stores nearby...
A group of new arrivals catches your attention. One's a skinny guy in a light brown jacket and a fedora. A Magcargo pin suggests he's probably not a local.
He's accompanied by a pair of women. One is a human redhead in a fancy black dress. The other is a bird-girl with feathers in red and white, along with a pumpkin pin attached to her hat. She has talons on the ends of her limbs. Both are carrying pistols.
Fuzz
When you get back, you find a new kid that stands out. Mid-to-late teens. Black hair and dark eyes, jeans and a T-shirt... Definitely not a local.
There's also a brown-haired woman hovering along on a broomsti- oh, wait, you remember seeing her leaving the hospital earlier.

Then you go see what the new guy's doing. He's walking into a store...

You duck into one of the stores and ask the merchant if he saw anything.
"Sorry, I've been too busy to watch for people coming and going. It's been a good day for sales!"

Tai continues to walk around, asking people if they saw a guy that looks like him but not him.
The tenth guy he asks shakes his head. "No, I- oh, wait, yeah. He was headed that way." He points north. "Or was it that way..." he looks to the chapel. "Uh... Hm."
"It was that way, towards the church," another passerby cuts in.
The witch-lady Tai was traveling with seems to be stuck talking to several people at once.
Celica quietly follows Fuzz, assuming this must be important.

"Alright, let's go!" the witch hops into the air, dives down and grabs your arm to pull you onto her broom, then takes off towards the church.
Move to Church thread next round.

"Are we going to follow them?" Celica asks. "Why are hunting them, anyway...?"

Dandy
Leone guides you into the town proper. Alice pauses when you get to the edge of the town and puts on her sandals before scampering to catch back up with you.
This place is huge, filled with Hylians and toads. You also notice a large number of laguz and other animal-hybrid types, most near a building marked 'Temple of Space.' A lot of the town guards are hanging around that place. There's also a large bakery close by.
"Laguz!" Alice says. She runs over to speak with them.
A large fountain in the very center of the town square depicts three goddesses surrounded by seven stars. Six round slots, green, yellow, light blue, purple, dark blue, and ERR COLOR MISSING, are set in its base. They look like they would perfectly fit your orb... if it weren't broken. The purple slot glows as you get nearby.
You see a board of quests near the edge of the square. Leone heads over to it and starts doing something.
There's a lot of places to go from here, too. To the north, you see a large collection of shops and stalls. The plains are back to the south. East is a large church. And west you can see some ships at docks set on a sparkling sea. And, of course, the path to that big castle...
You notice a lady in a red dress and a teenage boy in black riding a broom off to the east. A normal-ish looking guy, a bird-girl with a hat with a smiling pumpkin pin, and a red-haired woman in a black dress are following after them.
Fuzz
You start to follow the witch/kid pair when you notice another group heading into town. One's a tall, blue-furred demon. He's accompanied by what at cursory glance appears to be a male elf. Two blonde women are with him. One you saw earlier in the shopping district up north. The other is wearing a simple blue dress, white sash, and sandals.

Dantalion tosses the orb over to Hezaki who catches it easily and goes to place it into it's spot in the fountain meanwhile Dandy jaunts off to join Leone looking over the humble board of questing his eyes light up as he notes the quest clearly reserved for his completion "Part-Time Help ugghh wait... Archipelago... Resort! Well as long as the help is only part-time"

Leone nods. "The resort is somewhere to the west. You'll need to find a way over the ocean to get there, but I know there's a ferry you could always take."
Hezaki shoves the orb in the hole. It drops out and rolls away a short distance before he retrieves it. It doesn't seem to react to him at all.

You reappear at the town square. You notice a not-elf playing with a sphere near the fountain, a demon-looking thing talking to a well-dressed blonde lady by the board, and another young blonde woman in a simpler outfit wandering around speaking with people.
