"Right.... I see" Floyd slowly pulls his gaze from where he spotted the figure "So, Turtledove how are we going to deal with the bees they seem awfully rilled up probably a bad sign"

"Oh, so now The Amazing Turtledove is responsible for solving all of every problem?" Mareena folds her arms.
"Well you are the one who knows the area."
"Hmmmm, but this isn't Turtledove's turf. She hasn't been here in almost a year... Hm, hm. Bees, bees, bees." She pauses and looks up. "Unladylike to show someone under your dress, isn't it? OK! There's a few choices. We can't possibly hope to destroy their nest head-on. We can try running past them. Some of you may succumb to their poison, which is a sacrifice I am willing to make. We could try going up along the outside...? The tree should be climbable, just very, very dangerous. If we were attacked, we would fall to our deaths! Well, you all would."
"Wonderful options..." Freya mutters.
"Which leaves us with... someone sacrificing themself to act as a distraction so the rest of us can get through!" Mareena reaches up and grabs the foot that's threatening her. "I wonder who would be dumb enough to volunteer to do that, hmmmm?"
"Uh, no?" Freya says. "I mean... I'm pretty fast, but I don't think it's a great idea..."
Leia
"Hm, the birds don't really seem to attack, but I dunno if I'd say they're friendly... And I dunno how they'd react to playing." Natsumi nods. "And the bees come here all the time! But they probably won't right now since they're still freaked out. But I was able to stay here without worrying about them before 'cause Fionn put up some vines to block a spot off for me!"

"What problem exactly have you solved all of today?" Floyd throws his arms behind his head as he thinks "If you two fly around the outside you can open up the way for us to dash through.... Right?"

Nora folds her arms over her chest. "Well, this little bird beneath me says she can't actually fly, and I simply can't fight while carrying someone. I am pretty fast in the air, but I don't know how fast these bees are. We can use my summons as bait, at least. I suppose I could distract the bees with one of my adorable little krakkens long enough to test my speed against theirs... I could also try freezing the bees and seeing if they fall to their deaths."
She lands on the floor next to Mareena. "Not that I appreciate you implying I'm dumb enough to do something reckless, little birdie. A Grandmaster doesn't use the Queen's Gambit unless her foe is worthy of it. And these bees are definitely not worthy."

Mareena pouts and folds her arms, looking between the two of you. "No love for Turtledove..."
"Yeah, great. So anyway..." Freya says. "I don't... think I really have any skills that would be useful here. So. We can either try to slow them down with some ice, use a little... whatever NMalatyne has as bait, or send her around the outside of the tree to make a distraction from the other side?"
Mareena continues to sulk.
"...Or we could use Turtledove as bait, if she's as tough as Malatyne says."
"Oh, I see. No other uses for Turtledove. Hmph. Fine."
"Whatever we're doing, we need to come to a decision."
Leia
"Hmmmmm..." Natsumi seems to think about the question deeply. "Well. Um. I dunno. Most of that time's kinda blurry. I was hurt pretty bad and kept going in and outta consciousness, y'know? On the other hand it's really nice here and Fionn tried really hard to help so-"
Natsumi trails off as a rustling behind you catches her attention. You both look to see a humanoid figure with green skin lying in the flowers. It begins to stand up. It looks between the two of you, its featureless face not revealing anything about its intentions.

Floyd rubs his chin as he thinks"Turtledove you can't both be upset at being overworked and underutilized" He slaps his forehead suddenly "Oh duh why didn't I think of this earlier" He snaps his fingers casting Polymorph on himself after a few seconds a pair of Eagle's Wings sprout from his back giving them a few practice flaps he flys slightly above the floor grinning "Right yeah this is doable Athena jump in my arms!"

Mareena crosses her arms. "Turtledove can and is! Hmph."
Freya looks at you skeptically. "Um... No offense, but... Well, y'know?" She flexes her arm. "I am a fair bit more muscular than Mareena. Y'know, heavier? And Nora was struggling with her..."
"Then why don't you and Nora just carry your precious Athena between you and do whatever it is you're planning? Turtledove can fend for herself." She starts making her way towards the stairs.
Leia
"Huh? No, that's... not... Um, hi?" Natsumi says. "Who... are you?"
The figure's head twists sideways.
Natsumi tenses up. "That... is not Fionn, no. That... would probably be the Plant Beast, Dryad. We... should go. Quickly. The stairs are behind her... Should we make a break for it, or...?"

Nora shakes her head, and summons a Krakken next to Mareena. "Follow the little birdie and distract any bees that get close, my little pet."
"Let's see how this goes, hm? Up you go, dear."
Nora positions herself on Freya's right side, poised to lift her up.

"If I wasn't totally confident in your abilities I'd be chasing after you" Floyd calls after Marrena and then turns back to the group "Yeah you're almost certainly heavier then her but, I'm also probably stronger then the chess girl, no offence just different skill sets" He sighs and pats his cheeks to revitalize himself he get's into position "OK Athena's Chariot lift in 3...2....1!"

Nora helps lift Freya. "No offense taken, dear. Of course you're physically stronger than me. I'm not very athletic. The most I do is hiking and jogging. Let's follow the birdie, hm?"

"Well... I'm still really not a fan of this plan..." Freya complains. "But, fine, I guess. I don't have any better ideas." She sighs and looks out the door. "Unfortunately..."
"Have a nice flight!" Turtledove calls out as she skips up the stairs.
Floyd and Nora both take one of Freya's arms and carefully lift her into the air. "Let's - ow - practice a bit in here over the nice not-soft ground instead of the deadly, deadly fall, OK?"
It takes a lot of practice - and coordination by Floyd - but you manage to hover around a bit without falling or dropping Freya.
You hear a lot of buzzing coming from above as you head outside. Freya looks down and stares at the ground far, far below. "Uh... No, nope. Don't like this."
You take to the air and immediately almost lose your balance and fall. At least you're able to stay over the branch until you get higher up. And then you realize there's no window to get back inside. You have to move over, trying to dart between the smaller branches so that you have something to fall on besides the ground several stories beneath you. A few red-eyed, pigeon-esque monsters observe you from afar, but you give them a wide berth and they leave you alone.
As you get close to a window, you notice Mareena lying on her back, casually relaxing. She has a few scratches on her arm and stomach, but seems otherwise unperturbed.
You come in for a landing and Freya immediately leaps out of your arms and collapses beside of her. "Oh, oh ground. Tree. This tree. I love this tree. This is a great tree."
"It's OK," Mareena says. "Have a good flight?"
"My arms are so sore..."

Floyd lands down next to Freya and stretches his arms before giving Mareena a thumbs up "Mission Successful on our end looks like you figured you're way around as well I think we should give Athena a second to recover I'm a bit jealous of the tree"
