Leia looks at the two eyes in awe, seemingly hypnotized by what she's seeing, as if the battle that just occured didn't occur.
"Are... Are you the entire tree?
Na... Bunbun! That's so awesome! You have an entire tree as a friend!"

You grab Freya and start running. She shortly gets ahead of you and starts pulling you instead. A vine swings out from above and slaps her in the back as you run. Mareena swings wide away from the attack and breaks into a full sprint, definitely probably using the two of you as a shield.
"Quickly, quickly!" Mareena says.
As you reach the portal, Freya drags you through with Mareena a bit behind you.

Leia, Nora
"Ah, hello, human child. You are a child, yes...? So hard to tell with such short-lived creatures..." the tree speaks slowly and calmly. Its eyes roll almost lazily from Nora to Leia. "Yes, I am a tree."
"Isn't Fionn great, Person? He's so big! And also really nice," Natsumi says.
"Hmmmm... The monsters are riled up, aren't they..." Fionn mutters. You can hear something shifting around inside and it gets a bit quieter. The birds outside continue to screech and wheel around. "You... should leave soon and come back later."
"But I came to tell you we found some of the other Guardians!"
"Oh...? Good, good."
"Dragon, um, died. We met the new Fire Guardian, she's nice. Kinda hard-headed, but nice. Um... Oh, and the Earth Guardian. He's helping. And the Soul Guardian!"
"Mmmmm... And Mercia...?"
The birds grow louder.

"Mercia's still Mercia!" Nora answers cheerfully, very unhelpfully. She then turns to Natsumi, and her voice turns sharper, turning into a very assertive, slightly panicked, hushed tone.
"We should go. Now. Mission's done. We can come back and talk with the friendly tree later."

Leia will look defeated, looking at Natsumi.
"I'm so sorry... I... I wanted to make today all about you and then... We got Kiran'd and now this..."
Leia will nod.
"Let's get out of here. Glad to meet you, big tree!"

"Oh, right! The birds," Natsumi says. "Um, sorry Fionn! We'll be back to talk again later! Um, I mean, I already told you most of the important stuff but there's plenty of details!"
"Alright, I will be here... Oh, yes, yes. One moment..." Fionn mutters.
Some large vines drop down nearby. You see it curving off to the side, leading towards the branch with the portal.
"Oh, we can slide down!" Natsumi cheers. She wastes no time jumping off the branch to grab it. "Come on! Just move really fast and the birds won't get us!"

Nora ignores the vines and jumps off. She folds her wings like a jet and flies down towards the portal with such a burst of speed it creates an updraft of wind.
"Oops! Sorry!"

Leia will slide down, giggling about sliding down this tree, way too excited about it considering the situation.

You continue down the vines, sliding towards the branch and portal. The vines shudder from Nora passing by, then seem to steady themselves. You land on the branch, dropping the last few feet. A loud thud rings out from the entrance to the tree, and a brief flash of a large, camouflaged creature emerging sends Natsumi running. You all run through the portal.
"Good night..." Fionn's voice echoes.
