Nora, Floyd
"Now, now. You're giving me too much credit," Mareena says. "It's enough to make a girl blush. Have you ever seen me fly? Other than when you tossed me about."
"Right... Let's just ignore their flirting. C'mon, Fffffcavalry." Freya swings herself up behind Floyd. Floyd takes off across the room, and the force of him pushing past the vines seems to set them off. They snap up as he passes, too slow thanks to his height and speed. But they continue to flail about after he passes by, in a state of frenzy. A few are even shooting up high enough that they might snatch Nora out of the air if she's not careful.
"Hmmmm, now they're angry," Mareena says. "Well, not really angry. More hungry. Oh, well. That's just more fun."
Freya jumps off as you reach the far side of the room. She grabs Floyd by the collar and quickly hauls him up a few stairs until she's sure they're out of range of the tendrils.
Mareena flourishes her chakrams, then holds them in front of her face, peering through them. "Let me see... There, there, then... there... Easy enough. Are you sure you don't want to carry me, hm?"
Leia
"I'm fine! Didn't hurt a bit!" Natsumi says. "Well maybe a bit, but not much." Her shadow lashes out, springing up to slash one of the bees. The injured bee immediately turns on its fellows, stabbing one of the other two. Natsumi throws a talisman at the injured bee, and you take a picture of it. A lightning bolt falls and strikes the bee, which sizzles and burns as it falls to the ground.
The remaining bee buzzes angrily before diving at Leia again, stabbing her in the leg. Leia feels ill, like she's been poisoned.

Nora grins and floats down behind Mareena, wrapping her arms around her. "Well, I'm certainly up for trying. Ready?"

Floyd frowns as the vines start whipping up "Damn I really thought that would woh-" He's cut off by being carried up the stairs "You know I don't think they are going to stop flirting anytime soon... Wanna scout ahead Turtledove fights real loud so we'll be able to hear them if we take a peek ahead" He suggests

"I... I don't feel good... Something is wrong..."
Leia will use Smiling Shrine on herself.
Smiling Shrine: Summons a giant grinning sentient shrine in front of an ally, which will block every attacks for that ally. Stays active until it got hit 3 times. Launches debris towards the attacker everytime it's attacked, which causes heavy dark damage. [Natsumi 7]

Freya looks back worriedly, then shrugs. "Well... If you're sure." You head up the stairs and to the next floor. It seems to be the same shape, but empty. A large hole in the side of the tree leads out onto a wide branch. "Oh, hey. I know this place... I think?" Freya says.
Looking carefully, you see what looks like a portal at the end of that giant branch.
Nora
"Hm, you're not even going to carry me like a princess? Disappointing... Oh, well." Mareena jumps and you manage to hover into the air, but by no means gracefully. It's going to be difficult to get past the thrashing vines with the extra load, even if she is lighter than expected.
Mareena motions to the left. "Head that way, slowly, then hook to the right, then go straight towards the edge, the-e-e-e-en move left again and it should be clear straight to the stairs!"
Leia
"It'll be OK, Person-person, your key can handle it!" Natsumi says. "Just gotta squash the nasty bees really quick!"
You throw up a shrine. The bee quickly dives at it, getting caught in the blast as if explodes back at the bee. Natsumi and her shadow attack it from either side, and the charmed bee dives in to finish it off. It seems to shake off whatever was causing it to attack its friends, and it turns on you again.

"Alright... Time for some tricks!"
Since there's 2 hits left to the shrine and 2 bees left, Leia will have force them to target here and therefore take the damage from the Shrine.
Murder Scroll: Leia puts a scroll on herself or an ally that provokes all enemies.

Nora grins, setting Mareena back down, and picking her back up in a princess carry. Then she follows Mareena's directions to the letter, flying carefully.

The last bee dives at you, the shrine exploding in its face. Natsumi and her shadow stab it in the back, then the bee attacks you again, destroying itself in its rage.
A few seconds later, you start to feel better as the poison is flushed from your system.
"Person-person! Are you feeling better!?" Natsumi asks. She pats you on the shoulder.
You take the chance to look around the room. This floor has a thin layer of dirt covering it, and grass is peeking out from it. Other than that, the room seems empty. You watch for a bit, but the bees don't seem to be following after you.
Nora
Mareena giggles and adjusts herself to be easier to carry. Following Mareena's advice, you make your way through a maze of the least active plants. You flit between the vines without much difficulty. On the far side of the room, you set down and let Mareena loose.
"Ah, that was fun," Mareena says. She reaches up and grabs your ankle. "Shame nothing got a hold of you, it would've been such fun to watch."
You proceed up the stairs and find another large, empty room with a gaping hole leading out to a ridiculously wide branch. Floyd and Freya are waiting for you.
Floyd
You stare up at the ceiling, and you can distinctly hear the sound of buzzing. The bees seem angry about something. Very angry.
While you wait and watch, you hear Mareena and Nora climbing the stairs behind you. They rejoin just as you catch sight of something out of the corner of your eye. You turn to look at the figure that you saw nearby, but there's nothing there.
"Hm? Something wrong?" Freya asks.

Floyd looks around the edges of the room again looking to get a better glimpse at the figure "I could've sworn I saw.... Someone? Hey Turtledove what is Fionn... Hey if you're in here we just wanted to check in because some monsters got out"

"Oh, that's not Fionn. It's probably just one of the giant chameleons. Hope it isn't hungry, or it might try to snatch you up!" Mareena makes claws with her fingers and bites at the air.
Freya frowns. "Hey, let's... not... y'know, joke about that."
"Joke?" Mareena asks.
"...Of course you're not joking..." Freya sighs.
"It's fine, it's fine." Mareena waves dismissively. "They're big cowards. They won't pick a fight with a big crowd that's armed and on guard. Unless they're really, really hungry or think we're coming for them. Then again, I couldn't blame them for wanting to gobble someone like ME up. Who wouldn't want to?"
Freya completely ignores the last comment. "So, what about that other thing? What's Fionn like?"
"Big, slow... Doesn't talk much. One of the more human-friendly Guardians. Kind of a stickler for the rules. Doesn't care for change. Definitely opposed to Mercia and her plan."
Leia
"Oh! Yep." Natsumi takes you by the hand and starts heading towards the next set of stairs. She pauses to look out one of the windows on the way out. "Oh, look. One of the birds came to say hi!"
Perched on one of the windows is what looks like a monstrous pigeon, the size of your head, with an enlarged and jagged beak. It stares at you with glowing, red eyes, letting out a single, intimidating "Coo" before flying off. It joins a flock of a half-dozen others perched on a smaller branch a few yards away.
You continue up the stairs and find the next floor covered in not only grass, but tall flowers that go up to your knees. "Isn't this pretty, L-Person? I could stay here for days!" The stops and rubs her head. "Um, well, I guess I kinda already did..."

Leia is trying to look back through the window the whole time Natsumi is pulling her.
"Are these birds really friendly? Can we play with them?!"
She then looks around the flower field, fascinated.
"Woah... This is so beautiful... Almost as beautiful as you hehe... Probably not a bad place to be stuck at indeed... Wait... Flowers?! I don't want to ruin this... But... Wouldn't the giant bees constantly be lured here?"

"Let's keep moving, hm?" Nora says, still floating above Mareena's head, her foot carefully and intentionally positioned just above Mareena's hair.
"Only way to find out what it was! Chameleon? Some other kind of monster? A spooky shadow ghost? Maybe someone else got here before us, hm?"
