All this is just copied and pasted from the presentation but yeah feel free to ask any questions.
Eeveelutions
The next thing I will discuss is Assist/ Partner Characters.
Assist Character
Now then the next part I would like to talk about is the orbs.
Orbs/Item usage
As seen in previous Vitquest games the orbs play a huge role during your quest. At the beginning you can only carry up to 5 items over from the vending machine to the game. As the game progresses you will earn more inventory space or more inventory space can be brought within game or with Vitcoin currency.
As far as actual items here are a few guidline to follow.
Single Use/ Multi use
Characters, Pokemon, Etc.
Another feature making a return is the home base.
Home Base
Last but not least are your characters starting abilites.
Abilities
Eeveelutions
First off as you seen in the trailer you will start off with not just your orb and partner character but an Eeveelution of your choice. Yes you can choose what Eeveelution you want to help you from the very beginning. Only one eeveelution per sign up and only one of them per poster.
So for example somebody already claimed Vaperon as there Eeveelution. Well that means no one else can have it (well at least as there starting partner). The exception to this rule is if we get more people signing up then eeveelutions. Then of course their can be duplicates but well first come first serve. As far as movesets are concerned the player can chose up to 4 moves for them to start with. Just make sure your okay with your selection because once it's set its set and can only be changed by TMs or Move tutors. Finally you are free to give them any moves you want with the only exception being is that it has to be a move they can use either as an Egg Move, level up, TM/HM, Move Tutor, etc. (So no Jolteons using Flamethrowers we aren't savages here.)
Now then why are you given an eeveelution right off the back. Well they actually play an important on your journey and in a way are your guides in this world. The player is free to have them act or do whatever they want. But if there is something important story wise I will have them give you some sort of signal or say they are alerting you to something.

The next thing I will discuss is Assist/ Partner Characters.
Assist Character
Next assist characters/ partner characters are the same from before previous Vitquest games. You are free to choose whoever you want as your partner character to start off with. They can be from any movie, games, Vitcon/ Verse website, even someone you just make up for this game alone.
Now then there are a couple of things I will note when it comes to Partner characters. First they can not be another user. I know some people did it in the past but for me it would way to confusing. Second yes you can use someone else's character as a partner character but you have to okay it with the character's creator first. As a side note all of the characters I created in both Vitcon and Verse are available to be used. I trust you guys enough to use them.
One final note if you are using an OC character then provide me a little bit of their background and powers just so I have a basic understanding of what they can do.
If a Partner character is knocked out they will be placed into the orb. They will be unable to be used until you use an item, or you head back to your base to revive them.

Single Use/ Multi use
If you get a single use item its then considered gone until you return to your home base to replenish your orb. Multi Use items can of course be used multiple times.
If your given something like emotions then that will function like a status effect. You can choose to inflict on yourself or point your orb at the target and say the emotion you want to use. (Ex. Say you got Sadness as an item. You will then point the orb at Generic NPC and say Sadness and then the NPC will be inflicted with Sadness.) Be warned that not everyone will be affected by the emotions intended effect. Some can outright exist the effects. While others might feel the complete opposite effect of the intended effects. These are considered multi use items but only one person can feel the effect at one time. (Ex. So an NPC can only feel happy or sad but not both. Also two people can't feel the same emotion at once.) The effects wear off if canceled by the player or if there is enough distance between the orb and the target.

Characters, Pokemon, Etc.
Now if you get an actual character or person then they can also assist you. The thing is only one orb character can be out at a time. They can be equipped with items from the orb or items you find during your quest. Plus if they can ex.) change classes then they can do that here with the right item. (Ex. Lucina starts off as a Lord but if you find or have a Master Seal you can make her a Great Lord.). More examples will be given as needed.
Now then if you get a Pokemon type character they too can evolve (permantly) in the game. The pokemon character (unless otherwise stated by the person giving it to you) can use any moves they can naturally (TMs, Egg moves, level up etc.) but can only use 4 and can only be changed with the appropriate items or with a move tutor. Finally the way they evolve is with a special item (rare candy) if they are a level up based evolution and if they are friendship based. Pokemon dependant on elemental stones still evolve the same way. Trade based evolution w/o holding an item can be done one of two ways. Either at specially designed Trade Stations or if you get an NPC or another player to trade back and fourth with you. Location based will be given a special item in order to due the evolution. Finally for trade based evolution while holding a specific item then instead of having to trade the pokemon while holding an item. You will just have to use the item on the pokemon to get them to evolve (Ex. To get Steelix instead of trading Onix while holding Steel Coat just use the item Steel Coat on it.)
Now these items will be available in the open and can be obtained a number of different ways. Also they are available for purchase.
As far as other monster type creatures or other creatures capable of evolving they will follow the guide line from their respective game in order to obtain there next form.
Also of note if a Pokemon, summoned creature, Characrer gets KOd they are returned to their orb and are unable to be reused unless you return to your base or if you have a reviving item (Ex. Revive, 1 up Mushroom, Phoenix Down, Life Spell, etc.).

Another feature making a return is the home base.
Home Base
This is your place of operation and where you will be going to and visiting often. This is where you can recharge your orb. This is where you will end up if you are killed in battle, by environment, etc. if your killed you will end up back at your homebase along with your assist character and eeveelution.
Now at first not much will be here only basic features like your house and some NPCs but you can slowly build it up however you like. By either placing structures from your Orb or by recruiting NPCs to agree to come to your Home Base it can slowly evolve over time.
How you build it and how it functions is up to you. One thing that is immediately available as soon is your very own merchant. Now say you got a gem, or valuable artifact from the vending machine or even useless Junk. Well this is where your very own Anna comes in. You can sell any of your items you no longer use to her. Depending on how valuable the item is determines how much she will give you. Thanks to your orb you can sell anything from anywhere at any time. One word of warning though once you sell a vending machine or item obtained through your quest that item is gone for good. Not even recharging your orb will bring it back so make sure before you sell it that you have no use for it.

Abilities
These are the skills that your characters start off with in the beginning. These abilities have to relate to your character in some way. Also like in the past they have to be reasonable power wise nothing to OP. Now in the past you could have the power to Edit NPCs. For now that ability will be locked until later in the game.
Now abilities can grow over time and be made stronger by collecting your specific quest item. Or you can gain additional abilities upon receiving a quest item.
I think that's all for now oh but one thing I will mention is that the Vitcon Vending Machine will be made available today along with sign ups. The actual game will be made available most likely Wednesday evening.
