In case it's important for the other players to know, I changed my minion ability to creatures from the same origin as my current form.

So in case there's still anybody undecided about singing up there is still plenty of time. Even after the Prologue starts tomm you can still sign up.
Just know even after the players that sign up originally move on to the main story. New players who signed up will still start off in the prologue chapters.

Yes for the most part you control your eeveelution maybe I will just say or do something along the lines of Vaperon looks concerned. But yeah you control them. You can nickname it and in the beginning you are able to give it any 4 moves you want as long its able to learn it.
But as soon as you chose your 4 moves then you can only change them with TMs/ HMs or Move Tutors.

A question came to mind.
So we only start with 5 of the stuff from the vending machine.
So let's say I gain 10 things from the machine before the game started and I end up fighting Fuzz at the very start of the game.
Do I take my bet item from the 5 items I chose to start with or the complete list of things I got from the machine?

If it were to happen it would be one the items in your orb because technically those are the items you have access to.
Also will try to get this started at work if I can just start feeling better. Because not only do I have a bad cough and bad congestion. Now my eyes are starting to really bother me.
Like I went to bed at around 230 when I got home from work and I maybe awake now because the coughing and congestion and eyes irritation are pretty bad >_>.
Good news is that it's only this bad when i first wake up.

So one last thing before it officially begins does anyone have anything they want to mention to me over PM?
Like is there a special quest you want to do? Special power that we can work out together?
Just want you guys to know that your free to work of something with me and have it implemented in the game. If there's any special request don't be afraid to ask?
So feeling realitvely meh right now upgrade from a couple of hours ago.
Might getting the intro post up and started.
Also I have a general idea where your home bases are going to be located. But if there is a specific type of NPCs, or location or anything that I should know about the place let me know as soon as possible.

So I was going to start this yesterday but then I was feeling cute and decide to get Pink Eye and a Sinus Infection.
So this might be pushed pack to tomm or Saturday. Maybe later tonight if I feel any better.

Yes as you collect your individual quest items. You will gain more inventory space plus a choice to gain another ability or upgrade one of your abilites you already have.

Yeah Digi that's fine your partner isn't even suppose to show up in your intro boss battle so you still have more then enough time to think of a suitable partner.
Everyone really you guys have a chance to change your partner or chose a partner up until after the prologue battles. Then after the boss battle you will each wake up in your respective home bases with your orb, and eeveelution next to you and your partner either right next to you or doing something in your base.

So question so far what do you guys think of starting Vitquest off with Individual Boss Battles?
Is this better, worse, or about the same as starting at your home base?
I don't know why but even with Smashville I think Boss Battles offer a nice fast paced experience for the world. It also gets me use to handling battles from the start since this is like my second ever Vitgame type thing. Plus I feel like it can give you guys a chance to test out your individual characters before the core game starts and things get way more complicated with Orbs and Assist characters.
One thing with my boss battles is I will never intentionally place the player in a position where they aren't prepared or that its just completely unwinnable for the sake of being unwinnable. Like right now these battles are evened out and the bosses were chosen based off of your abilities listed and how I feel they would play off the characters. If something the boss does seem unfair or it pulled off a BS move 10 times out of 10 its part of a cut scene and the player after the bosses turn will have something happen to balance the odds. It will never be BS just for the sake of BS or just to say crush the player for no reason (unless you severely screw up the battle but there's enough hints to know what's going on ahead of time to give you a chance.)
Plus it allows me to give the players visions of the future that may play exactly how they are now but they can also be drastically different. Example during Mallefio's boss battles you will here hints at which villains were at Terran oh and I have a very special surprise for you when that comes lol ☺.
So yeah hope you guys are enjoying it so far despite it being in it's very early form. Plus what planning I was going to do at work to help set up the base and basic layout. I ended up sick in bed so umm fun times >_>.
