Well at two turns in it’s a little too soon to say, but it certainly helps give the game some oomph right out of the gate.

I dunno, I didn't really like starting out at my base before with no real idea of what to do or where to go. I always tried to figure it out but always feels kind of like skyrim. You are just running around in circles stabbing random shit trying to horde more things.

2 turns, so I agree with Fuzz, but I like that I can make it so I'm learning my skills ASAP because I need it.

Okay so for the most part everyone is done with the first phase of there respective boss battles.
Here's a current rundown of what everyone's condition is.
Phase 2 Crow: 5% King Boo: 0%
(But he's in the second phase where there is small debris swirling in the background.)
End of Turn 3 Jasper (Digi): 15% injured Jevil: 0% injured but 20% tired
Beginning of Phase 2 Blood: 5% Sans: 0% injured but 25% tired
Beginning of Phase 2 Raku (Fuzz): 10% injured Death Egg Robot: 20% injured (Chaos Mode activated) Green Hill Zone: Small Flames nothing of note yet.
Turn 3 Dandy: 0% injured Lord Hyness: 15% injured
Beginning of Phase 2 Admin (Mally): MH 40% injured (he might be able to take on huge dragons and various other monsters but well he is still a normal human.) Eater of Elder Dragon form: 0% injured
Tiamat (Chaos Dragon): 10% injured (but in reality should be closer to 60% injured but has tremendous healing capabilities due to the surrounding negative energy)
So does this info help you guys out in anyway.

Also since the boss battles might be finished in the next couple of days a couple of info about your bases.
The bases will be controlled by the players. I might give you a bit of set up info to start but for the most part you control what happens in your base. So any NPC you recruit to your base will be entirely up to the player how they act and what they end up doing.
I will give you some basic info about what they are and what they can do for your base but as soon as they become recruitable they will be yours to control on how they interact and what exactly they will contribute to the base it's self.
Ex) You recruit the owner of a casino. You can expect a casino to be built in your area. How the casino looks is up to the player, attendants, games, etc will be up to the player.
One of the only facilities that I do control is the exchange facility. All of those facilities are ran by a different Anna. (Think of it like Nurse Joy from Pokemon where they all look the same but they look different.) You may ask yourself X how did each Anna just magically show up in our personal base.
Silly silly players don't ask silly silly questions.
I was going to have maybe a couple of NPCs around when you wake up inside the base. But they can be just outside wondering how this facility just ended up here.

Well was I thought I was going to have a chance to finally work out some of the stuff for Vitquest at work today. It was going to be a 16 hr. shift and I could use that to help stay awake.
Work was like nope. New Jersey a couple of days ago got hit by some really heavy rain and drenching thunderstorms. Some areas in the city where I work got flooded and the water has begun to get back to normal levels. The problem is all that flooded water and all the runoff goes straight to the river where we draw our water for the plant from.
So it takes a couple of days for all the runoff to make it's way to the plant but when it hits it hits. So I get here and within the first 10 minutes I already had to call in the Chief operator. One of the filters was having problems with turbidity (turbidity is how cloudy the water looks. It's usually a good indicator for the state of the water.) So for the first 3 hours we have 3 people running around trying to figure out what's going on with the plant. We found that one of the pumps wasn't pumping the chemicals we use as a clumping/coagulant agent (something we used to bind all the organics and everything to small to see in the water. Its used to bind them and make them heavy to where they fall off during the settling phase or get caught in the filter). So we put another pump in service and completely replace the broken pump.
Without the chemical that allows for coagulant/clumping the entire plant has to be shut down.
So all the work is done to fix it and the water starts to clear and work correct it's self. Everything in the plant begins to settle down but then our finish water turbidity begins to climb. Finish water is the water that's been cleaned by the plant and that's the water that leaves the plant and is headed off to the city.
Now with finish turbidity it can't reach a measurement of 0.30NTUs otherwise the system is in violation. When it gets to 0.25 NTUs thats when the Chief operator has to be notified and then he has to notify the state. So the finished turbidity gets to 0.24 and its just hanging there for about a couple of hours. So I am running back and fourth between the operator desk and the monitors to make sure it doesn't reach 0.25 (or 0.245).
So yeah that was fun thankfully the finished began to drop and it never reached 0.25 but still that was incredibly stressful.
Unfortunately, it didn't really give me time to really do anything here today when I was planning to get stuff done today.

I walk into work on any given day and have a minimum of 4 different tasks to accomplish... if not more... new promotion doesn't help.

So Blood sorry I didn't forget you. Your phase is coming to an end.
Before I set you up in your home base. Is there any basic layouts of Purgatory I should be aware of before I start the opening post.
Also how familiar are you with Super Paper Mario?

No not really, just that there is a giant Government building at the center and a shop ran by a few of bloods "Friends" (More one sided friendships). Other than that it looks like a very large grimy high-tech city. I've played thousand year old door twice but none of the other ones.

Sorry for the inconsistent updates. This is the week where I go from overnights over the weekend to morning shift.
Umm yeah so I try to post when I can during the day and if I am not too tired I will try to update at night before I go to bed.

I think someone already asked but... we control our orb-summoned characters, yeah?

Yes you control any or all of your orb characters since they are technically your characters.
While I am here and a couple of you are close to working with NPCs.
NPCs that are your allies will work with the PC but will be controlled by me. They will work with the character and follow you on your journey. You can even give them moves/ suggestions but depending on their trust level they may or may not do what You want them to.
Now then trust level is how the NPC feels towards the PC. The higher the level the more willing and the more they will do to help you on your quest. When they reach a high enough level they will then become controlled by the PC instead of the GM.
Now then you will know you reached a high enough level for them because a certain trigger will happen. Now the trigger can be them revealing a secret to you or them handing you an important item.
Some NPCs mainly those that are more support type (aka shop keep, builder, etc.) will chose to head to your base and help you out there. Most NPCs in your base will be controlled by the player.
Anna will always be controlled by me because they are in charge of buying and selling items.
I hope this helps. Please ask if you need any clarification.
