She notices Gwen fly off after hearing her and Hero's awkward conversation.
Racheal will make her way to Herom
"Hey Hero got any plans today,". "Wanna come with me and explore the town together?".

“Now you’re talking” Cantrelle replies confidently, but realizes something.
“Hang on, before we go out and get started I think I need to doublecheck that everyone in town knows that this is a magic school. Trying to win a bet would be a hell of a way to out the school.”
With that, Cantrelle tries to flag down a teacher as the two of them go to get breakfast.

"Yeah, of course people know it's a magic school!" Alice says. "I... think. Probably. Yeah, the soldiers at the gates knew why we were here and how to get there... but maybe that's just them. No, locals would definitely know. But... maybe not travelers. OK, yeah, I guess we can ask."
You go looking around and find Phoebe. When you and Alice explain the situation, she giggles. "Yes, people are aware. What a fun idea. You two have fun."
"Yeah!" Alice starts running out, pausing to wait for you to catch up. "So, wanna make it more interesting? Obviously we should make some bet about this, right? I was thinking something like the loser has to jump in the lake next week, or gets the job of making sure Iora is being, y'know, hygienic. Any better ideas?"

(Dunno if there will be time for me to get another post in because I’m going to a movie, so if it’s alright I’ll go ahead and post what I was going to for the performance)
Cantrelle scouts out a decent spot in town with plenty of foot traffic but away from anything flammable, then sets out a bucket she keeps for this exact purpose. She begins playing an energetic and unique sounding song on her fiddle, initially just playing and dancing but soon adding some magic into the mix. Around the halfway point she’s joined by a Flutterlight circling around her, and towards the end she begins casting Sparks at her feet while nimbly dancing around them to avoid actually hitting herself in a well choreographed sequence she spent most of her time between breakfast and the performance mentally mapping out.

"Fine, fine. Small is fine... this time. But I expect a bolder challenge next time!" She pauses. "But we still need to make sure Iora cleans herself up after her hike or the room will smell awful."
You go out and perform, drawing a decent crowd. Unfortunately, it becomes difficult for you to keep up both the dancing and the spells and you have to take frequent breaks.
It seems like Alice had about the same idea... and the same problem. As the two of you tally up the money, you start to get a bit worried. It's very close, but in the end you won - but not even by a full silver coin.
"Tch. Alright, you won this time. But only because you were smart and set up at a better spot! Next time, you're going down." You stop at the bakery on the way back to the dorms for the night and she buys you and herself a snack. "Enjoy it while you can. I can't wait to see what wager you make and LOSE next time."
Move to Dormitories

"No, I have no particular interests, besides simple reconnaissance."
You and your cat-like friend go wandering through the town for a bit. At the end of the day you have a better idea of the layout of the town. The main road takes people just looking to cross the border straight through the town. Inns and stables line it as it passes by the town's goddess statue. The northern parts of town seem to be mostly devoted to the locals and the college and stores for basics like groceries and clothing, while the south side is devoted to entertainment and travel lodgings.

Room 1
Misha, Ray, Erin, Balthazar
When you all return to your room, you're not particularly surprised to find Balthazar beat you back. He looks up from a pile of letters on his desk, casually folding the one he was reading and stacking it with the rest when you enter. He not-so-subtly shoves them all into his desk. "How was the lake?" he asks.
"I got in it, despite the cold," Erin boasts. "Then Iora tried to frickin' drown me."
"She did? Iora? The... one who's always half-asleep?" Balthazar looks confused. "...Why?"
Erin shrugs as she drops onto her bed. "Something about being a predator."
Room 2
Fenian, Iora, Cantrelle, Alice
You return to your room with Alice after washing up. So nice to not be all sweaty anymore. And it helped the exhaustion...
Fenian returns to the room shortly after you, half-dressed with a towel wrapped around his hair. Looks like he had the same idea.
Iora, on the other hand, seems to have come back from the lake and immediately flopped onto her bed. Her cloak and hair are still damp, and now the bedsheets are as well. And she smells like lakewater.
Alice sighs and gestures at her with an 'I told you so' expression. "Should we just poke her until she goes? Worked last time."
Room 3
Rachael, Gwen, Hero,
You both return to the room and find no sign of Gwen. Hero looks at her bed nervously. "Harpies are diurnal creatures, are they not? I am a bit concerned that she has not returned while so little light lingers..."
"Worry about yourself, Groundling," Gwen chirps as she enters the room. She tosses a few scraps of some badly maimed beast onto her desk, shakes herself, sits down, and starts brushing her hair with some bones. "Did your little 'insect hunt' pay off with a decent meal, Groundling?"
Room 4
Rishan, Colette, Darius, Indy
The two pairs return to the college, bumping into each other near the stairs and heading up. "So... ya'll two... have fun in town?" Darius asks awkwardly.
Colette doesn't respond. She looks down and focuses on the stairs and not tripping on her robes.

"Well, I don't think Iora would have gone that far... But I don't think she quite understands that hypothermia works at different rates for different people. Or even what hypothermia is, really..."
Misha shrugs off her coat and shakes it off more. "I had a decent workout, at least. But maybe next time we should have a race in more temperate whether... I'm curious if anyone here can beat me in a straight contest of speed, other than the Harpy... Gwen, I believe."
She glances at Erin, smirking slightly.

Ray seems satisfied of his day. He glances at the letters Balthazar manipulated, but it's obvious in Ray's facial expression that while he is curious about it, he doesn't say anything, feeling like it's none of his business.
