Don't give him the chance, keep attacking.

You run after Glomglom and attack him before he can run away. He seems somewhat weak.

Question: do BP (Brave Points, used to take multiple actions per turn) carry over between fights?

I forgot how exactly they work, but I think they would be reset at the start of each fight... So if you go into the negative (which makes you unable to move), but finish the fine, you'll go back to normal in the next one.

Yeah, they typically reset when the battle ends, but if you're chain attling they carry over between fights. If this would count as a chain battle use a single attack, if not Brave three times and let loose with a combo of four attacks.

You unleash four attacks on Glomglom while he eats a lollipop. The fat Goomba is launched into oblivion.
"GAME!"
The rest area appears.
Fighter: mrfuzz111 Equipment: Basic Sword Armor: Full set of armor Consumables: Potions (3 for each fight)
---STAGE 4: VS ULTRA GOOMBA---
You appear in some kind of abandoned factory. There is many containers which can be climbed. Anvils attached with small ropes are dangling from the ceiling. Your enemy is a single, normal Goomba.
Ultra Goomba: "STOMP!"
It suddenly becomes huge, giant even.
M: "3...
2...
1...
FIGHT!"

Climb up a container near an anvil, luring him under it. Once he's underneath the anvil, cut the rope and drop it on him.

You climb a container while the enemy charges you. You manage to climb on top as it's under an anvil. You cut the rope, squishing Ultra Goomba into a pancake, causing damage. He quickly returns to normal though.

Get to another container and try to do the same.

(Alright, gonna skip a turn, assuming you'll still try your thing)
The Ultra Goomba crashes into the container as you start climning them down. You fall to the ground taking some damage. By the time you stand up, the enemy hasn't turned around yet. You run to another container, climb them and squish the enemy with an anvil again. He seems weak now.

Jump off of the container, bouncing off of his head and using the momentum to land on a container near another anvil. When he gets under it, you know what to do.

You jump on the enemy's head, using the bounce to make it to another container. Before he can understand anything, he is crushed by an avil and then launched away before he can inflate again.
"GAME!"
The rest are and next portal appears.
Fighter: mrfuzz111 Equipment: Basic Sword Armor: Full set of armor Consumables: Potions (3 for each fight)
---STAGE 4: VS GOOMBA KING---
You appear in some clearing with a single tree. There is a fortress in the arena. On top of the fortress' really small tower a big Goomba with a crown stands tall.
Goomba King: "You're my enemy? A simple human minion? Well, let it be a battle of minions then!"
M: "3...
2...
1...
FIGHT!"

You boost your defense and magic defense as the enemy jumps down on you. Weirdly, it doesn't really hurt. Jumping doesn't seem to be this enemy's strenght.
