(Well there goes that idea...) Slash at his face.

You slash the enemy's face while he spins kick you. This does more damage than his previous jump and while you know the enemy took damage from your attack, you know for sure you'll go down first if you just continue hitting each other like that.

Put some distance between us and Default.

You move away from the next Spin Kick, avoiding it, then default to gather some BP.

Keep it up, I'd like to reach 3 BP.

Goomba King runs towards you as you default again and uses another spin kick. You feel beat up, but you don't think you're gonna go down yet.

Potion, then jump out of the way of the next Spin Kick.

You heal yourself with one of your three potions, then jump out of the way, avoiding another spin kick.
Goomba King: "Just let yourself be squished!"

Right, I never responded. One more default should get me up to 3 BP.

You default. Goomba King seem annoyed. He rams into the single tree, making Goomnuts fall out of it.

Brave three times, slashing at him four times in a row.

(Man, this one could actually be a boss for your current character...)
Goomba King kicks a Goomnut into you, hitting really hard. You don't feel weak, but you took a decent amount of damage. You then hit Goomba King four times in a row, pratically taking your revenge. He seems to get angry, as he grows in size.
Goomba King: "Enough already!"

"You're absolutely right. Let's end this!" Assume the Blazing Wolf Stance, increasing physical and magical attack to 125%. The defensive buff from Stalwart Aurochs will last ten more turns. Then... "BRAVELY SECOND!" Time comes to a standstill as everything becomes grayscale save for Mr. Fuzz. The latter sizes up their enemy, then uses Hack And Slash.
Charge forwards, striking the enemy with multiple slashes and finishing with a powerful blow. Jump back, pointing the sword at the enemy while posing. "Had enough yet?" Time returns to normal, a blue glow appearing around Mr. Fuzz. (As a reminder since it's been a while, Bravely Second not only stops time and lets you attack whenever you want without consuming BP, it also ensures that all attacks are a critical hit during it. As for how to balance it, I'm thinking that being given 3 SP per floor sounds fair since it makes it something to use sparingly. Now, about that song and the blue glow. When using a Special Move like Hack And Slash the character's theme overrides the music, and as long as the song is playing the party gets a buff of some type indicated by a blue glow, in this case an Attack buff. You can usually get a good several turns out of it provided that you're quick with your inputs.)
