You take a seat next to Mareena. "Hello, there. I don't believe we've met." Mareena gives Sam a haughty grin. She casually takes a sip of coffee from a small cup. She looks surprised as she sets it back down with a satisfied sigh. "Mmm..."
Floyd
Floyd looks through the menu. Three soups to pick from, a few different types of salad. A wide selection of sandwiches from the humble grilled cheese to a massive, fancy BLT. Tons of types of pasta. Looks like their specialty is spaghetti. And coffee. So many choices for coffee. And coffee-adjacent drinks like cappuccino. And the counter displays several pastries-of-the-day. They usually have cheesecake and apple pie, but the rest change frequently. Today they've got the usual, plus strudel, chocolate cake, or a fruity frozen... thing. Looks like it's an original creation.

You approach the mannequin. It looks like a totally normal mannequin. Naked. You realize it's a little weird seeing one without any clothes on.
You manage to gather that the mannequin mysteriously appeared a few minutes ago but no one knows who stuck it here or why. One of the guards looks over at you. "Did you see anything?"

Mareena glances down at the furry little critter, then goes back to staring you in the eye. "Oh, I've not been here too terribly long myself. In fact, last week was my first as a student at Newvit." Mareena runs her finger along the cup's rim in a repetitive circle. "And, yes. The coffee is excellent, Sam."

His brow furrows as he leans in to inspect the thing.

As you look closer at the mannequin, its head wiggles slightly. Then suddenly snaps to face you you. Several members of the crowd let out surprised gasps. The others who weren't paying attention and missed it all suddenly show renewed interest, asking what they just missed.
"What the..." the security guard asks. He reaches for the mannequin's head.

The crowd gathered at the fountain suddenly seems a bit more energetic. A few people around the cafe pause and look outside before quickly returning to the party.

Alex Takes a few more steps back....She starts to think that maybe the loneliness is finallu making her crazy...but then again everyone else just saw that as well.
Too weird and creepy.
Alex eventually walks back enough to each the edge of the crowd aiming for a bench to sit down and catch a breath.

Sam looks at the nice coffee lady and just gives her the most pleading stare.
Ppppllleeeeassseee miss I am so eager to learn about this place and anything and everything of interest. The only people I met and talked with so far was Kiran, Fox, Raine, and this really nice but kinda of awkward lady (why am I drawing a blank on her name right now?).
Oh right before I go on I don't think I ever asked you for your name Miss? Or i did and I completely forgot which is an awfully bad habit of mine.
