"I don't know!" Sachi says. He's shaking the bunny. "She just said something like 'oh, no, not again,' then thumped over! I think she's been... poisoned... Oh, no."
Mattea's eyes widen. "...Oh. I feel it, too." She starts to lean over, then thuds onto the table.
"...Damn it..." Sachi falls over beside her.

"W-Wait! What the...?!" Tab panics internally for a second, then decides to take the tray of brownies and store it away before leaving the cafe, frantically dashing and yelling throughout the mall. "Hey! Is anyone a medic here?! There's three people poisoned in the cafe!"

You run out, calling for a medic. Several people come running from all over. Nobody volunteers.
From the third floor, you see Raine leaning over the railing. "I-I have some h-healing spells! Um... S-someone, catch me!" She throws herself over the ledge. She's still wearing Mercia's outfit.

The deer girl crouches down like she's about to act. Jude reaches for a Pokeball. They both hold off when you call out.
You run under Raine and try to grab her. She lands on top of you and knocks you over.
"O-o-o-ow... Thanks... Ah!" She scrambles off of you, then offers you her hand and pulls you to your feet. "C-come on! Show me where they are!"
You head to the cafe. Most of the others follow you, other than the black-haired not-human woman Awkward was speaking with. She stops and sits on the fountain instead.
Raine doesn't notice. She runs over to the three slumped over. "U-um... OK, poison... I don't have any antidote skills, but I can try just healing them...?"
Jude joins you. "...Don't worry. They're not dead, just unconscious."

"Are they? If that's true, that's a relief... It seems as though they could have been poisoned by this." Tab takes out the tray of brownies he took. "I found the tray here and took it away to prevent anyone from discarding it.
...Before you get any ideas, I'm not a part of your killing game and I don't gain anything from killing others I... don't know. I don't suspect that this was accidental..."

"Of course it wasn't accidental," the girl with the pink hair says. "I bet it was that Sachi guy. He made them, right?"
"Why would he poison himself?" the blind woman asks.
"Deniability, iffn he knew it weren't lethal. Maybe he's got some trap or somethin'," the guy with the yo-yos suggests.
"...M-maybe we should... search the kitchen...?" the deer girl suggests. "Carefully?"
"We still need to worry about these three!" Raine suggests. "Um... No one else ate a brownie, right? It looks like..."
A loud shriek pierces the air. A female voice echoes. "I... will not... RAAAAARGH!"
You look out the door.
A giant, dark-purple dragon is filling the mall from floor to roof. She can barely move. "Haaa... Haaaaaaah... Poison? Haha...! After everything else, I will not fall to such a trifle!" Her voice is distorted... evil.

Tab appears shaken, trying to keep himself composed. "D-Don't panic. If she kills anyone, the murder will be obvious. She'll die as well. She doesn't dare attack anyone. But can anyone here calm her down? Even if that might be asking too much..."

"Oh, things are getting fun!" the pink-haired girl cheers.
Mareena, still in Raine's dress, hops over the railing from the top floor. She lands on the dragon's snout and strolls forward calmly. "There, there. You're not going to do anything foolish, are you? You'll be fine."
"Rrrrrrr...!"
"He-e-e-ey! It's a sleep poison, not anything lethal!" the woman in the business suit yells. "So just chill with the scary dragon shtick."

Regarding the situation, Tab feels as though he can't contribute to helping calm the dragon, and decides to instead investigate the cafe's kitchen in the meanwhile.

The last thing you see before heading into the kitchen area is Mareena calmly taking a seat on the dragon's snout and patting her.
You head into the kitchen and start looking around. You're joined by Deer-girl, Wolf-boy, and Yo-yos.
The oven is still warm. The brownies were super-fresh. A knife has some brownie remnants. Plenty of dirty utensils that haven't been scrubbed yet...
You look everywhere you can think of, including the trash can. You find a can labeled 'chocolate substitute, safe for dogs.' The label doesn't just look fake, it feels really loose... Wolf-boy sniffs the can.
"This is... where the poison came from."
When you come out of the kitchen, most people are sitting around in the cafe. Mareena walks in, cradling the now-unconscious and no-longer-transformed dragon lady. She carelessly tosses her sleeping form onto a table. "Problem solved."

Tab talks to the wolf-boy. "Excuse me. If you're able to identify the smell of the poison, then could you sniff about the mall in search of the same aroma while I accompany you? I'm not certain if the poison originated from the mall, or if someone produced it themselves, but I'd like to trace its origin if so. Oh, but if your senses don't work that way, then... my apologies. I don't mean to assume like that, but..."

"Sure!" she says cheerfully. "If you want..." she mutters. She seems suddenly depressed.
You follow her to a clothing store. Inside, there's plenty of clothes, as you expect. And a wide pyramid of cans. Labeled as all different sorts of poison. Definitely not labeled as chocolate substitutes. There's two spots where it looks like cans have been removed...
The woman in the business suit folds her arms. "Interesting. Are there weapons hidden all around the mall like this?"
"Pretty much!" Nekoshi says, appearing from a clothing rack.
"I wouldn't really call this 'hidden,' though..." the wolf-man says.
